Then, make a tasty meal that's light (as Mustang suggested), have a favorite mood-setting movie or television program on hand. When your lover comes home, set them up with the TV, sit near them (chicks, wear something nice that'll set the mood. Guys, take off your shirt or something), and feed them dinner. Afterwards, have dessert, something they love--it can be just about anything, though traditional aphrodisacs like chocolate and strawberries couldn't hurt.
It is a lot of work, but it's completely worth it.
