::Beach::

The tank was now climbing out of the water. Panicked beach goers. The likes. As it made it's way out of the boat ramp, it sped up, the Snorkel retracted and so did the presicope. It terrorized some Seagulls and assorted Pokemon. It then made a beeline for General Ganale. Sand flew as Beachgoers ran for cover. The Iron cross of General Todoka's personal Marine Units was on the tank. It stopped short of the General, where the commander's, gunner's, and driver's hatches opened, to reveal two Seafoam Marines pointing oranged tipped airsoft guns, in the SIG 552 Mockups, aimed at Ganale. Todoka had the same thing, an Airsoft, but in the Robinson Arms M-96, Bren config.

"Hey Chris, let's get some civilians and we'll play with some Sandcastles."

Under normal circumstances, anyone who pointed a weapon at her master usually needed to be prepared to suffer blunt trauma to their mind. Not their head, their mind. As an instinctive action, she charged a psychic wave to set loose on the marines.

Then she noticed that they were, in fact, marines, and managed to condense and redirect the massive mental assault away from the marines, and into the side of the tank. End result: it sounded like a rancor had walked up and knocked the s**t out of the tank, the vehicle rocked on its suspension, and a softball-sized dent appeared in its front armor. [Psychic Element/Psychic]

And now she just looked very, very irritated.

For his part, Chris looked over at Sohee, shook his head slightly, and refocused his attention on Quinn and the marines. It wasn't like he had been worried; his Diamond Skin would've protected him from any shots fired more than long enough for him to shove a rock spike right up the tank's underside. But then, he also recognized the weapons as airsoft rifles the moment he saw them.

"I think we're all a little wiser today."

He reached over and laid a hand on Sohee's head, in that manner that only he could do without risking losing a limb, then pulled a bottle of that craptacular Arizona-brand green tea out of the cooler and passed it over to her. He had tried the stuff, couldn't stand it, but she loved it for whatever reason.

She calmed considerably at her master's touch, moreso when he handed her the bottle of tea. She took it from him and began to pick at the wrappings idly; the fact that she wasn't opening it with her mind indicated that she was still a bit irritated, and possibly even embarassed.

Heaven help anyone who figured that out, though.

The men had instantly jumped out when that happened. But off. Quinn laughed. He put down the airsoft, as the Marines started to back from the now crazed people. He pulled himself up

"Been through worse Sohee. You scared the kids. Seen Forbidden close hand, in fact nearly killed by them. Kill me, I wouldn't mind." He says this to a being that can overcome him, in front of her master. The odd thing. He's smiling., as his legs dangled alongside the edge of the turret, holding the airsoft pointing down.

"She'll still move, don't worry about it. The dent will stay, remind me not to piss Sohee off." He said, as he jumped off the tank. His combat boots sinking in the sand.

A particular expression appeared on her face. It wasn't exactly obvious what she was going to do.

That was about the part where Chris flicked her in the side of the head. "Don't."

The spirit sighed theatrically and returned to picking at the seal on the bottle.

arrow SMOOOOOOOKE, ON THA WAAAAAAATEEEEEEERRRRRR

A rigid-hull inflatable boat cruised along the beach, obvioustly having come from the Battleship anchored about a mile offshore.

Hopping over the waves at a decent 75 or so Mph, the operator throttled back about 25m from the shore to avoid running over any surfers. Hitting sand, he pushed the thropttles up slightly to beach the boat enough to not float away.

"Am I late for the party?" Jason asked after shutting down the two outboard engines and jumping onto the sand with a medium sized cooler.

Keahi had heard about the end of the year beach party for a while now. It had been talked about by her fellow civilians, and for the most part any of her co-workers.. Actually, scratch that, ex-coworkers. It seemed to be the fate of Keahi to somehow not be able to hold a job for longer than a few weeks. Something always went wrong.
Walking along the sandy paradise, the girl's blonde hair caught the sun, reflecting a sort of redness about it. You wouldn't say she was really a red-head. Couldn't say she was a strawberry blond either. It was more like just snippets, trussels of hair a soft orange to red that glimmered in the sun. Her blue eyes were hidden behind a pair of reasonable fashionable glasses, while the rest of her outfit followed in suit. A tube top to cover her bikini top, and a skirt to cover the bottom made it appear as if she wasn't ready for a real beach fiasco in the first place. The girl had a lot of minor tricks of her sleeves.
From a distance she noticed a small.. display of something... with a shrug, she figured that this was the right place to be. She threw on a bright smile and turned the charm notch up a bit. This might be a party, but this was also a chance to make new friends. New friends meant new contacts. New contacts meant new jobs. New jobs meant a lot more than just money to Keahi. She approached the small group.
"Hm.. I'm guessing this is the correct destination for the end of the summer party?"

Quinn shrugged, and climbed back to grab something. It was a nice, thin hardcover, with the title, "Cyrano de Bergerac" on the spine, as well as a small cooler. Said cooler contained the Arizona Sweetened Green Teas and some desserts. Quinn had a generic MP3 player on, which was set on his Country > Celebration playlist. He listened to it, as he found a tree with some cover, actually a cocnut tree warped into a sort of "L" shape, flopped down beside it, and started reading.

The Marines were scared.. The tank promptly left. Leaving their commander there. They'd be back though, but at another side of the beach.

While Sohee was busy putting a dent in a tank Alisa was busy keeping her head from having a dent in it, her form having huddled up close to the pit with hands over her ears. The ringing of a gong had gone off in her head when Sohee's earlier Psychic attack had 'kicked' her in the head in place of the General's foot and was only amplified by the sound of a giant tank getting a taste of Psychic. Maybe she should have brought earplugs along with her dives, getting water in the ears wasn't so bad but the sounds coming from this cookout were.

With the removal of the tank and the entrance of a few new people Alisa went back to normal, the smell of food being surprisingly rejuvenating. She wasn't saying anything out loud of course, her mouth knowing to stay shut after the powerful Psychic boot to the head. One good thing though was that Alisa was left to her pick of the food which could be used to keep her mouth from saying something stupid again. Her first nab was a hotdog, the item however wouldn't last long though since Alisa had a unhealth habit of devouring anything in her sights.

Free food wasn't a good trade off for a splitting headache though so she would have to even it out a bit more, maybe she'd be able to nab up a few more hotdogs before anyone noticed the dwindling numbers.

Awesome that more people were showing up. Just about that time, a pickup rolled up into the parking lot and disgorged a bunch of random people who had just gotten back from the nearest grocery store with bags upon bags full of party food ranging from about thirty pounds of hamburgers and hotdogs, to condiments therefore, and random chips of pretty well every flavor.

After a few moments, the driver got the bright idea to just drive the truck onto the beach and use the truck bed as a buffet table/storage zone for everything.

"'Bout time you boys showed up. C'mon over here and throw that stuff on the pit. People're hungry."

With that, he finally got up out of his beach chair and meandered over to his little section of the fire pit, holding two plates that both had unoccupied hot dog and hamburger buns on them. He reached right down into the pit and snapped up two of the respective meat sources; fire didn't bother him in the least, after all, then wandered back over to his seat.

He set one of the plates down for Sohee, then reached into the cooler and pulled out a bottle of ketchup and a bottle of mustard. The hamburger only got ketchup, but the hot dog got a helping of both. Then he tossed the condiments back into the cooler and started eating the hamburger.

Having gotten open the bottle of tea, Sohee seated herself in the sand and balanced the bottle and plate in midair. She seemed to contemplate the condiments for a moment, then shrugged and began to eat the hotdog. Plain.

It loomed up, about thirty yards off and incredibly huge... darkening out the sun with its presence. It wasn't there a moment ago, and anyone turning to look would come face to face with a monolith...

A half-scale castle. A real castle, made from sand. Sand-flags flapped in the wind atop sand-parapets, and sand walls stood imposing with exquisitely crafted detail.

It was a thing of beauty and mystery... well, as mysterious for as long as it took for the sand-drawbridge to plunk down onto the beach. A sand porticullis raised, showing two figures standing in shadow beyond. One tall and broad, one shorter and slim.

As he munched on the hamburger, Chris watched the approach of the size-not-exactly-specified self-contained, mobile, functional sand castle...thing.

And it was taking every ounce of his willpower not to use his abilities to pull the rug out from under it and bring it crashing down in a pile of sand probably large enough to handle any renourishment project should a hurricane happen by and wreck the beach.

"What the hell?" Jason remarked, taking a good long look at the castle. Hell, it looked like someone was compensating for something, or trying to make a very big entrance.

Taking a good long drink from a can of generic soda, he tossed it into his cooler and fished out another one.

Eyeing the newly approached sandcastle...boheomith, Kaehi slinked to the cornucopia of food. She hadn't eaten in a while, and if someone would ask her the last time she ate, she would mostly like reply with 'what's food?' With not entirely trained skills, the young woman snatched a bun, chips and a bottle water as conspicously as possible. Now it was time to nab a hotdog. A bead of sweat emerged from her pale skin, blue eyes darted back and forth. Thankfully, a majority of the crew was fixiated on the other newest arrival and not on her. Side stepping to the open fire pit, she licked her lips in anticipation of the byproduct delight.
