"Al, I understand that, but if I can get other's memories and visions from mere touch, perhaps it was given to me to allow me to aid you. If I touch you, I could get the same vision. I don't care what happens to me, we are in this together, brother." Dumu spoke. His violet eyes stared into his, "Please, we are in this together, we can get through this."
Al was the only one that understood him. He never called him short nor did he ever stare at him while they talked. He understood him more this his parents. He was the only one he cared for above all others. Aki had been with him since birth, he was his companion, friend, and beloved brother. Whatever he went through, Dumu was sure to follow.
The older brother quirked a brow, why was his brother blushing? Was there something he wasn't telling him? Dumu was really tempted to dive into him, but he should respect his brother's space. "Al, is there something you want to tell me? You know I won't tell anyone."

A few thoughts swirled through his head. Akiiki wasn't sure how to answer any of his brother's questions or statements, he'd never thought about any of this before, he didn't want to think about it to be honest. His silver eyes closed for a few moments tiredly and he sighed weakly, shivering from lack of sleep and sickness.
He didn't want to see the visions again, the cub had seen them enough in the past weeks to know what they did to him, but if his brother wanted to see them then he would let him. Akiiki just prayed that he didn't get to sick in the process, though at the same time he almost wished that he did. Then at least Dumu would understand why he couldn't see Akiiki's visions.
Leaning forward, Aki put his forehead to his brothers and let his feelings for anyone he'd ever met, how he felt for Dumu, how he felt for the lions of his own sex just flow through his mind. At least this way was easier.
Then without a warning for his brother's sake, he forced himself into one of his bloodier visions, the one of his father's past, the one of his mother's past. He showed him everything that he'd ever seen in the way of visions.

The color of crimson red, the mournful cries of a dying female, the cries of pain of young ones, and the dread wail of a male. What was this? Was this what Aki saw? The blood, the death, and the gore? He saw the bodies of little cubs litter the floor, one caught his eye the most....it looked just like him. Was it him? Was this the future? Or the past? Was this their family? Soon he saw a female and then what looked to be someone he saw everyday...his father. Athrun was maimed and broken, and his sky blue eyes unhidden. This was the past.
"D-dad...?"
Suddenly the images vanished to words. Phrases passed through his head, voices of unknown, but all sounding similar and repeating things over and over. Was this Aki's feelings?
Love
Dumu.
Brother?
Ed!
A soft blush flushed across his face and his eyes opened up to Al. Was this what he was hiding from him?
"A-Al?"

"Ed." Aki said softly as he wrapped his arms around his brother to keep him upright. "It's okay, did you see what you wanted to see?"
He didn't like hurting him, the moment he knew that Dumu was okay then he'd let him go, he didn't want to give him another vision. What if he got sick? What if he felt Akiiki's weakness.
"It'll be okay, just breath." He told him quietly, "It goes away after a while. If you have to get sick.... just lean away from me?" He laughed a little and licked the eye of horus on his brother's forehead.
"I'm so sorry Ed."

Dumu shook his head, he did get a queezy feeling but he was not about to lose it in front of his brother. "I saw what I wanted, Al, and I heard more than what I thought. Is there something you would to tell me rather me assuming?" he asked softly, holding his brother softly in his arms. There was something he thought but was not entirely sure about and needed his confirmation.
"Al, if there is anything you know and would tell no other, tell me. I would want to know. You can trust me, I am here for you. Besides, brothers got to stick together right?" he said, holding down the feeling of throwing up. He would rather do that when Aki wasn't around.

A soft sigh escaped from Akiiki's muzzle and he kissed the end of Dumu's muzzle softly. He loved his brother, loved him a lot. In fact he was the only one that he could trust to tell that he was gay, the only one that he would let know that he felt weirdly towards females, but blushed when males turned their eyes on him.
"I think there's something wrong with me, I get all butterfly-y when a guy looks at me... but... when a female looks at me... nothing." Aki admitted at last. "Is... is that really weird?"
His silver eyes gazed up at his brother meekly. he didn't want to assume anything, he didn't want to push too hard. What if his brother got disgusted by him and never talked to him again? All because of his feelings.

Dumu looked back to him softly with a smile.
"What? Was that it? Having feelings toward other males? I have seen a few like that. There is nothing wrong with it, it is love. Love is love. If that is how you feel towards males then that is how you are, nothing someone can tell would ever change what you feel." he spoke, licking his brother's head. "There is nothing wierd about it at all, I love you, right? Though I don't see myself as a life-long partner with you. Don't get me wrong, but I am sure there is someone out there better suited." the older brother finished with a sweet smile.
"If it means anything, I like both, males and females."

Putting his paws on the end of his muzzle in embarrassment, Akiiki blushed so thoroughly that his fur turned completely pink. "It's not bad? You feel... the same way?"
Smiling a little, the cub reached out and hugged his brother a little tighter. "I don't think there's much hope for life partners in either of us, at least not with each other. We are brothers, but I know you'll find a nice girl or guy. I just hope that I can be so lucky as well."
Something inside of him felt so much better for having told Dumu of the plight that had been plauging his inner thoughts recently. He might actually be able to sleep now, though he wasn't quite sure.
Nuzzling into Dumu's side, the violet and white cub sighed contently. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you for so long... it's just... strange."

Smiling softly, blushing as well, he hugged his brother in return, "It's nothing bad, I feel the same way sort of and in some way I don't. But there is nothing wrong about it."
"Well, I know we ourselves cannot be together, but I am sure there are others out there for us. We just have to find that special someone, y'know? Just wait and see, you will find someone speical and he will love you." He replied licking his brother softly.
He nuzzled in return, "Well, now ya can tell me anything. It is better than keeping it a secret, besides we are in the same boat now, right?"
"Come on, let's get home before Mom and Dad notice we are gone."

"I guess we are." Akiiki said with a slight slur to his voice from exhaustion. He didn't want to move, he didn't really want to walk.
Rather, he curled into Dumu and fell the entire way asleep, his white and violet body pressing down on Dumu's smaller one with a dead weight that any cub would have issues carrying. For once he didn't see death, he saw bright things, happy playful cubs that he'd never seen in his life. Some of them were dark red, some of them were a pale green, some of them were even bright white.
In his sleep he was starting to smile, for the first time in a long time.

Dumu fell back when his brother laid upon him, the sudden weight crushed him, not in the literal meaning of the word. He didn't mind it at all, he welcomed his brother. He was glad that he was able to take some of the weight off his shoulders. No one should be burdened alone, there is always someone out there to listen to you.
Dumu purred softly and rested his head on top of Aki's. His Eye of Horus glimmering in the moon light. Well, it was apparent that the two were sleeping outside under the stars tonight and their parents will come looking tomorrow mornin'. He yawned softly and licked Aki's head once before closing his eyes and falling asleep.
"Good night, Al..."
