Why would they change the english voices? I mean, look at he japanese, they haven't changed any of the voices. It should stay solid.

Son__Goku Prodigious_girl Son__Goku Imiko-chan Prodigious_girl Son__Goku Well I first saw Saiyuki in english but I like the Japanese voices better 3nodding . I love Gokus voice in Japanese. He's so cute heart I semi agree. : D If it's Gensomaden I'll watch it in English (over the Japanese too. O_O!) but if it's Reload or Gunlock I'd prefer the original. -> The P and G is back!! YES!! I'm the same way. I can watch Gensomaden both ways, but Reload or Gunlock, I have to watch the japanese version. Soemtiems I watch the enlish version to make fun of it.
Yes it is very fun to make fun of the english voices for Reload and Gunlock xd I do it when I am boardY.Y;; The guy (Yuri) who does Goku also does Sasuke...I'm sorry...but that's an insult to Goku. O.O Though his character (Leo) in Scrapped Princess is ok...he's kinda like Goku. stare And thanks for welcoming me back...geez... : D YAY!! Y.Y;; Though I'm terribly late at seeing this. Gomen. Anyway, the reason that Geneon got Saiyuki Reload over ADV is probably because Geneon had a higher bid for it...O.O;; Or maybe the Saiyuki Japanese Crew didn't like the way ADV had dubbed it and cancelled the contract. Y.Y;; I must admit I wasn't a fan of the fact that they made Hakkai swear, it's a bit out of character for him...

I like the japanese better. The reload and gunlock dubs kind of scare me xD In gunlock Sanzo sounds like my uncle, not cool. I found Hakkai swearing to be out of character too, though it like, an english thing I suppose o_O; When they first showed him he said s**t like, three times. It was very strange.

God, i havent watched the Saiyuki in English yet, i only read in English, but I am not going to. they usually stuff the dubs up so bad in English... why bother? Anyway, i think the characters sound great the way they are.

I like it both ways, but the voice actors (for English) in the Reload and Gunlock bother me. As much as I love Lex Lang for his performance in Rurouni Kenshin, he doesn't make that good a Sanzo. But the voice acotrs for the English in Gensomaden did a good job, especially Greg Ayres as Goku. xd

The japanese voices are kinda bad. But i like Jurney west the best because i coldn't stand how they kept jumping form voice actor to voice actor form jurney west to reload. it drove me crazy! even if i did see like the Reload first i just love Jurney west better! mrgreen
as far as the hakkai and swaring comment goes, i was surprised to hear hakkai sware but i guss it was expected. I mean goku swares, and what not so- but it's like in inu yasha i wasn't expecting to hear Mairuku (sorry for the name) sware because it's very rare that he swore, and it happens. it's just americans versoes the plitghtness of the japanese i guss.

I like the Japanese version better than the English dubbed. Especially in the movie, Requiem. Its like they switched part of Gojyo's personality with Hakkai's in the English dub (twiches)

Unfortunately I'm not the fan some of you are. I like the english better than the japanese. Maybe its cause I'm lazy & don't wan to sit there reading the subs. *shrugs*

When it comes to English dubbing i only like the first Saiyuki series.
When saiyuki reload came by i almost peed in my pants crying .
I never seen saiyuki in japanese O_o
