Golden eyes narrowed to slits as Kol spoke of the Firekin coming after his mother and himself. Ravi wouldn't let that happen. A growl rumbled in the pit of his throat at the old lion's words. What did he know of his life! Kol was not his father, his father was some horrid lion that made him what he was! Ears lied flat on his head as Kol's retreating body was no longer in his sight. Stalking off angrily, the young Firekin was too upset at the whole ordeal to even speak to Kol or his mother, for that matter. How could his mother even think of letting this lion teach him how to fight when he was so clearly against it?! He felt betrayed by his own mother. And now, he has no one else to turn to for his own mother wants him to become a different lion.

Angry, the young Firekin's blood boiled at Kol's words. Of course he was useless! Why else would his mother baby him so much? Because he couldn't do a single thing to help her, as much as he liked to think he could protect her he couldn't. It was useless to even try and think that anymore. As he stalked through the lands, he went far away from where his mother was. He couldn't even begin to fanthom why he was so upset. He's never been upset or angry like this before, to verbally lash out at another. It was a disgrace and made him feel even more like a Firekin than he already felt. His resolve shattered as he continued walking, with no more fire in his steps or light in his eyes.
