Blinking lightly as the young femme Malu stopped long enough to question him, about the winter season. Grinning softly at her curiosity, he slowly arose and treaded over to her side in the leaves. Grabbing one of the leaves with his paw, he proceeded to playfully stick it in her newly developed mess of hair...much like his own.
"Oh yes. Snow will blow up into the air when jumped in, you can make it into a ball and throw it at Malu, not to mention making caves in the snow. yet more then often...you'll sink into the snow if its too deep, and its hard to tell....like this."
Chael had picked up a large pile of leaves with his forepaws, dropping them atop of Enoa with a laugh.

Enoa watched as he came over, watched as leaves were put in her hair, and even watched as the pile of leaves was dropped on her body. A second later she gave a delayed shrill of laughter and rolled onto her side under the blanket of dead foliage.
Thrusting her head out, and between small "hees" and giggles, she said, " snow sounds very fun, though it would be better if it wasn't always white...Why have I not seen it?"

Laughing lightly as Enoa seemed to be ever so cheerful around the technicolour leaves, Chael tilted his head as she popped her head out of the leaves. Leanding down and blowing a stray leaf off her head, he sat down on her own makeshift pile and picked up a leaf with his paw - examining it.
"Well, We do get the four seasons down here....yet seasons like fall and winter are not what they should be. Fall last long here due to it isn't cold enough to make the leaves fall faster. Winters here are simply not cold enough to make snow....so we just get short winters of bare trees and nippy nights. Basically its like a colourless fall. Its sad...because snow would be much better than that..."
Chael shrugged softly, gazing down to the not-so-little one. "Oh well. Winter will go by fast, then it'll be spring...and fall will be close once again."

Enoa listened intently. She liked the news about fall lasting longer, but couldn't help but feel sorry for Chael and that his season wasn't all that it could be.
"There is snow in other places though, right, Chay?" She asked while removing herself a little more from under the leaves. His last comment had been pushed aside byt he freckled Malu. Yes she loved autumn like no other, but she didn't like spring and snow was on her brain now.

Leanding his head down, he pushed aside some of the leaves with his muzzle which partially buried Enoa. It was true, winter around the temple wasn't really winter...yet it couldn't be helped. He could have returned to the northlands....yet with all those he had met here, it prooved to be hard to even think about.
"Oh, most definately! You should see it Enoa, back where I was born. The snow was as tall as I on the ground! Although due to it being so cold, the top of the snow would freeze allowing us to walk ontop of it rather than sink under. I think you would like the mornings and evenings up there, its very colourful as the snow sparkles in the colour of these leaves. Afterall, Autumn and Winter are linked. Autumn would not happen if winter did not help summer get cold, and Winter would not be as nice if autumn didn't signal winter was coming, and give us out last colorful glimpses before winter."

Tall ears pivoted and flicked to catch every word the large Malu said. Her pale eyes flicked from him and then down to the leaves that surrounded her, imagining what it'd be like to see the ground in these colors.
To his connection with autumn and winter, she nodded in understanding. "Now I wish it snowed here...Do you think it could if there were more followers of your god?"

Dropping down beside her in a laying position, he gazed up to the skies in thought. Sometimes, he too had wondered the same question.
"I'm not too sure, Enoa. Some say Snow is all dependant on the temperature. Yet others say it can overcome temperature if lots of devotion to the Wonter god is given. They used to say that up north was quite humid, like here untill the Pack of Winter Malus arrived."
Chael smiled, taking a glance down to Enoa. "It would be weird to see snow out in the desert, wouldn't it?"

"Maybe so, but then again you are like winter and you are weird to see out here in the desert. But I am used to seeing you and it is not weird anymore, so I say the same thing would happen if it snowed." She smirked and glanced at him before looking up at the cloud speckled sky through a few barren branches. It would be weird, but she thought she'd like it. Changes were good in some cases.

"Heh, very true indeed. Someone of my colouring would be weird out here where everyone loves the heat. I thought you were weird too, for different reasons though."
Chael laughed, obviously joking around as he ruffled her hair with his paw. Once again picking up a leaf, he pondered for a moment, "Hmmm. Have you ever tried to make anything out of leaves? I mean....this one looks like a raindrop....and this one a paw...."

Enoa started to laugh, but then yelped a, "hey!" when she got his little "joke". As a paw messed with her hair she took the time to stick her tongue out at him before becoming a little more serious.
Looking at the leaves he was holding, she cocked her head to the side. Pale eyes hadn't noticed the actual shapes of the leaves until just now, nor had she ever though about making something with them. "Nnno, actually I have not..." she trailed off. Her mind hunted its corners for ideas. "Maybe if I had twine or string or something....?"

'Hmmmm..."
Chael looked at their surroundings. There wasn't much around in which they could make string....there wern't even vines in the trees! Frowing softly, he looked around for anything which they could use...when he spotted it. Grinning, he stood up and made his way over to what he had spotted - Mud.
"Hey! Mud is quite sticky, perhaps this will work?" He exclaimed as he glanced back at Enoa before sitting down. Leanding over he dug up a bit of the mud and slid it before him, patting it with his paws to make a ball.

Enoa eyed him and the ball of mud owlishly. He wasn't serious, was he? "What can you make with mud and leaves besides mud pies?...And do not throw that at me..." she warned, moving her head away from the glob of wet earth.

"Hmmm, how tempting..."
Chael grinned and wiggled his dirty paw at Enoa for a moment before returning to his 'creation'. Rolling the mud into a ball, he scanned thr ground for the right leaves. Graspong three big ones and two little ones, he stuck the two little ones ontop of each other yet spread out near the top of the mud ball. He placed two big ones on each side, and then one at the bottom sticking out. Using his paw to poke two eyes into the mud ball, he smirked and turned it to Enoa.
"It's an Owl!" he smiled, looking down at it. "A really fat one."

Enoa stared and blinked at his "creation" before she burst out laughing and snorting all at the same time. Tears welled in the corners of her eyes and when she finally thought the fit had passed, she looked back at the owl and it started all over again. "You...it.....owl...that....FAT" she gasped and sputtered out the random words between snorts and giggles.

"Hey now! You're hurting his feelings."
Chael smirked, although he couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of the poor owl. Smiling down as Enoa seemed to howl with laughter just by looking at it he grinned and poked her sides.
"Now see, if you don't exercise...you'll end up looking like him!" he warned playfully.
