Kichea strode behind Li as she moved quickly ahead of her, taking a long stride every couple of steps to keep up. As she followed watching the cub she began to wonder just exactly how many lakes there were in the jungle. She hadn't thought of it til just now but being so wet there could be many.
" Limbua, You won't be too disappointed if she's not there right? After all a goddess does have a lot of duties." Her voice was still muffled by the dark blue flowers that hung in her mouth. She let a moment pass so the cub could answer.
Then she noticed the movement of the water had changed in the river. " Can you see anything yet? Are we coming up to this lake?"

Limbua walked along beside, just a little further, Kichea with a slight bounce in her step. bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce. Slowly she walked up the river to the lake, listening to the older female speak.
"Do they? I always thought that Gods and Goddesses just sat around looke nice and helping others?"
It was true, she didn't know much about Gods and Goddesses, what she said was all she knew about them. What did they do? What did they look like in general? These Gods and Goddesses seemed...interesting. How many where there? She remained silent to give her time to answer.
Bu watched the river when Kichea spoke again, "The lake?" She looked up when her head hit her again, often times it had happened, but she thought it was just a headache or something. Shaking it off, she turned to her, "Just up ahead. Not far." What she did not know was that it was a vision...

"Oh, my goodness, no. Gods and Goddess are always busy. There is only one of them to work with each aspect of the world, so they have their paws full. Since the begining of time they have been the ones keeping the circle of life moving and without them none of this would exist." Kichea motioned to the jungle around them with her head as they moved along. Her voice still a bit cut-up as she spoke, her mouth full of flowers.
"Only a bit longer to the lake? Alright, but if it's too much longer I might have to take a break." She smirked slightly in disgust of the taste in her mouth. Whatever flowers she had taken they tasted horrible. "I don't know how leopards can eat this stuff..." She spoke of the greens in her mouth only showing her lack of true knowledge. In truth everything she knew she had learned from stories or on her own exploration. She was usually very observant but hadn't taken much time to observe the jungle or it's inhabitants yet... including the cub before her that wasn't a full lion.

"Oh...."
She whispered, walking along the ground, the bounce in her step gone. So gods work with one part of the word, then what were they all doing? Were they all different? How many were there? Did any of them look good? What did they look like?
"Kichea, if a Goddess works with one part, what does Kivu work with?"
She asked, her tail swishing behind her. Bu chuckled a little with the way teh female was talking. Turning her head back, she was eating flowers?
"Leopards don't eat flowers, silly, we eat fishes. Mother, my sister, my brother, and I fish every day. We don't eat flowers, we perfer to wear them."
She said, chucking again. Kichea was so wierd.
Limbua turned the corner and out to the lake. It was so vast and the sky peered through the leaves of the jungle. It was just....amazing. The clear glass surface, the treeline bordering it. It was simply breath taking. Shadows of fish littered the water.
"Wow! This place is so amazing! Right, Kichea?"

" Kiva... She works with unity. She has the power to bring creatures together for different reasons. It sounds kind of silly but it effects your life everyday whether you know it or not. Like you and I meeting each other at the river... Kiva planned it that way." Kichea smiled, despite the taste in her mouth, content with her answer to Limbua's question.
Walking along behind Li, Kichea tilted her head when she turned around. Almost confused by the look on her face. Then suddenly she felt the warmth of blood rushing to her cheeks in a blush. Shaking her head she began to speak through her mouth full of flowers and embarassment.
"Leopards don't eat flowers, they eat fish? Wait, you're a leopard?! I guess that did sound a bit silly, huh? Wow... I've never met a leopard before. This whole time I thought you were a lion cub. You remind me so much of my daughter, Tui'lian, so full of questions. I guess I didn't even take the time to notice..." She slowed herself down from the excitment of meeting someone who wasn't a lion and moved it towards the lake as they turned the corner.
It was a breath-taking sight and after an entire day of treking through the jungle it was greatly appreciated by Kichea. Slowly moving to the waters edge she spit out the flowers and quickly began lapping up water. Shattering the glassy surface with ripples. When she finished she lifted her head and looked to the cub. "You know I wasn't really eatting those flowers right? I was holding onto them as an offering to Kiva. Being in my mouth so long though, they are hardly worthy now..." She giggled looking down at the pathetic, wilted flowers that were once brilliant and beautiful.

"So then...each god has its own thingy too?"
She asked, looking back to her. Kivu, the Goddess of Unity, that sounded nice, unity. If everyone was intune with one another there would no be any fighting or superiority. That sounded nice, really it did. Maybe the Goddess could spread her Unity everywhere and that would make everything so much better.
"Well, my mother is, I would assume I am. There are many of us around here, you just got to find us. I guess I should take that as a compliment, your daughter must've been beautiful....um....what is a lie on cub?"
She asked, never have actually ventured that far from her mother just yet. But the lake was simply breath taking, it was vast and it was just so...beautiful.
"Oh, that's horrible. Be right back."
-----
"Here you go!"
She called, padding back with a ring for white flowers in her maw. She placed it down before Kichea and smiled up to her.
"I guess I have a knack for this sort of thing, y'know?"

"Yep! Each god has their own thing they can control. Everything that happens has someone helping it along. Like the clouds and the sun moving in the sky and the plants growing around us." Kichea smiled dipping her paw in the water and watching the ripples as she caught up to all of the cubs questions.
"Heh... You don't know what a lion is? I'm a lion and my babies are called lion cubs." Kichea giggled looking back up as she explained, " I guess even after we knew each others names we really didn't know who each other was! ... My daughter is quite beutiful, much like you, but her pelt is very different from yours. She has the colors of the savvanah grasses while your are much more like a jungle flower. What I meant was that your personalities are alike, in the sence you both ask so many questions. You've got to already have knowledge beyond your years."
Finally caught up she waited paciently for the cub to return, wondering where she was off to in the first place. Upon her return the lioness had not much she could say. It was such a kind gesture and the flowers were almost as beautiful as the lake they had found. " Thank you! " She giggled with joy happy with the gift, even if it was ment to be given to the goddess. The one who Kichea no longer believed would show.
Gently picking them up she placed them on the cubs head and worked them with her paws to fit around her ears. "There! Perfect fit! You look simply darling your majesty!" At first there was only a smooth joking smile but she began to take on an fake accent and bowed down to the cub in play.

"A God or Goddess each with their own aspect to control. You think they would...like...ever abuse them? Like make it so the sun never rose or the clouds never appeared? Or even the jungle around us would fall apart. You don't think they would do that would you?"
She asked.
"My mother is a leopard, however...my father I would not know. I don't even know who he is. My mother rarely spoke of him so it was just my sister, my brother, my mother, and I." She paused. A jungle flower? That was...something she never thought of. She always felt ugly with her pelt, being completely different than her siblings and her mother. But...a jungle flower?
"Well, it's sort of crude, Kichea. I am horrible at these things, my brother can do a much better job. I can never do anything right, I'm not good at anything...I figured I should try since yours were ruined."
She said, but chuckled when the lioness bowed to her. It made her feel special and at the same time the cub she was, not the female she was trying to be. She sat tall and pretended to be all mighty.
"Raise, Lady Kichea."
Limbua spoke, unable to keep a straight face. Laughing when she said "Lady Kichea"

" I wouldn't think so, I don't know if they can just stop like that..." She paused a minute still bowed over, and gazed across the lake, "No, it just couldn't be like that. The gods are like us in many ways, there are the good and the bad, and if that could happen then I'm sure it would have already." Kichea smiled looking back to the cub.
" I don't know my mother or father so it's none to worry about. After all you still have a mum and I'm sure one day you'll meet your father." Kichea cringed a bit but covered her emotions with a smile. She had hoped she hadn't said to much about the subject, knowing all too well it was a touchy topic to talk about.
"I think it looks very pretty. I don't know what your brother could do to it to make a crown look more beautiful." Taken back by her thoughts she suddenly realized she had forgotten what she was playing and quickly corrected herself. " I think it's flawless, your majesty."
Giggling herself, Kichea held her strange accent as she slowly rose from the bowed position she had held, "As you wish, queen of the jungle flower."

"Right, Gods and Goddesses are like us. They just live forever and have powers. I guess, asking one about their domain would be disrespectful, huh? Heh, it would be nice to actually meet one. They must look beautiful."
She purred to herself. She did want to meet one, but there seemed to be none here. Kivu must have been busy with her domain. If she ever met one, she would be polite as she can. She would meet every single one of them! Then she can boast a bit, but the journey and faces would be worth so much more.
"I hope so...I sort of want to see a new male face around other than my brothers."
The cub chuckled. When Kichea bowed to her, she chuckled and pressed herself against her. She purred softly the best she could through her happiness.
"Thank you, Kichea, for coming with me. I need to get back soon, mother is gonna be furious that I have wandered this far from her. I really enjoyed the time we spent together. It was really fun!"
Bu pulled away and nuzzled her a bit before moving further back.
"Bye, Lady Kichea, I hope I see you again!"
She called before starting back to the group of trees where her family lived. At least now she had something to remember that female by and it was sitting nicely on her head. She was the Jungle's Flower.

" I had alot of fun, but I also must be getting home." Kichea nuzzled the cub back before watching her depart. A smile upon her face that hadn't been there in quite some time. Limbua helped her remember what it was like being a cub and made her realize how much she was missing out on spending with her own.
Kichea giggled as she watched her dissapear into the brush. " Yes! We must meet again, Queen of the Jungle Flower!" With that said she rose to her feet and began her jouney back home where she had yet to tend to her own garden of Jungle blossoms.
