Riku perked his ears higher at the mention of a healer. "A healer? Really, that is quite interesting." He said with a smile. "You know of herbs and other things that can heal wounds then?" He asked, then turned to the side to reveal the large scar that ran across his shoulder blade. It was in the shape of three Vs, one on top of the other, and it was too precisely marked to be an accident.
"You probably would have kown what to do for this when I got it then." He said with a small sigh.

Chami gasped and she took a couple steps forward to inspect the collection of scars. Smiling sadly, the black lioness nodded and replied, "Yes, I would've. There's nothing I could possibly do now to help...But there's always that strange possibility that you or your loved ones might get sick or hurt again. Until that time, let's hope it doesn't happen, you can call upon me to help you. It would be my honor."
Then she paused and looked at him again, "How did you get these scars? It was that lion, wasn't it?"

Riku smiled at her, turning back to face her once again. "Thank you very much, I will gladly take you up on that if the need arrises." He said, then nodded sadly at her question. "Yes, it was Nyek. He marked all of his captives." He said with a sigh. "My mate has it as well. Thankfully we escaped before he could mark the children." He said with a renewed smile.

Chamiyu breathed a sigh of relief and nodded joyfully, "It is blessing, I am so very glad that your children were spared! But I still feel a pang of regret for you and your loved one...And any other poor soul still within his grasp. You will lead a pleasant life from here on out, I hope."
Shifting slightly, she turned her black head towards her den, suddenly aware that she forgot to begin her collection of herbs for the festival. Mteuli had spoken to her of this and the feast was about to begin so shortly.

Tamariku smnodded slightly, also feeling bad for the ones still in the lions grasp. Especially Rukiya. He shook the thoughts from his head, knowingnow was not the time to dwell on the past.
As she looked back to her den, Riku raised a brow and took the motion to mean that she was anxious to get back. "I think I have kept you too long, and I must go find Matifu anyway." He said with a smile. "I'll see you at the festival later? Farewell, and it was a pleasure meeting you." With that he stood and bowed his head to her, before turning and walking off into the jungle.

"Keep me too long? Hush! It's nothing. However, it was a pleasure meeting you too, Riku, and I look forward to seeing you there." Watching the young adolestant slink away into the valley's tall grasses, Chamiyu gave a sad smile. That poor lion had gone through so much...The black lioness admired him for that, but he still had a long way to go. Maybe, with his new family, the path will be easier for them to trod. Chamiyu bowed her head after the lion and simply smiled.
His path looked brighter already.
