"Ah, so you really are a Ki'mei." He said slowly, shifting his weight as to flitter to and fro. It was the faerie equivalent of balancing their weight upon the balls of their feet. "I feel sorry for you. That place lacks a lot of the beauty the Bakeneko have. Luckily for me, no matter where I go, I always have the view!"

And it was the truth. For someone as small and compact as the fae were, everything looked beautiful, if not a little scary. For example, a spoon could cause grevious injury-- a jar, the most viscious of traps. For god's sake, Faerie were small magical creatures, not glow-in-the-dark bugs a person could collect for their pleasure! Alright, so from far away and at a quick glance, bugs and fae were one and the same-- they both flew at amazing speeds, sometimes lazyingly hovering about with their kind and at night, they glowed. Except, of course, the Fae glowed all the time, and they had feelings.

Oh boy, did they have feelings! They were one of the most emotional creatures out there, easy to insult, annoy and anger. Tiny they were, and perhaps physically undaunting, but only the most foolish messed with the fae. Their magic was renown. An angry fae had the power to curse people-- make the offender's life miserable.

Still, the youth showed no trace of any mal-intent. He was, of course, still taken with the changeling Ki'mei. "It seems kinda boring, to be frank. Well, no, not boring. More like... dangerous as there aren't very many places for someone like me to hide."

[ Oi, well 2nd place isn't that bad either. xD]

"Indeed..." she nodded, some curles dancing around her face. Actually the woman had guessed that anyone she would encounter would view as one of the race that lived on the other side of the border. This because she neither wore the extravagant clothing of the Tsengu or had the features of the Bakeneko. As the other races were considered, she wasn't a giant and she wasn't scum either... But one could never know with a creature that could change it's appearance in the snap of a finger.

"But then again varity [?] of places does create a beauty on itself. Don't you think?" she added after a short silence. Swinging her legs back and forth, one after the other, the Ki'mei watched the ground she usually walked. Simultaniously her red wings opened and closed, a repeating ritual that went almost unconciously.

"Well it's not like I'm totaly defenseless." she started, watching the male next to her with a slightly insulted expression upon her face. "And it's not like everything on earth tries to attack us all at once either." she managed to mumble, while the fea's words started to set her to thinking.

"On the other hand, every place is dangerous. No matter size or strength or ability." the young female finally concluded, a thoughtfull expression still occupying her mind.

Now it was the boy's turn to be offended. With a frustrated frown he pouted and scoffed, throwing his arms against his chest. "Well, apperantly you've never come this close to being turned into Fae paste by an unsuspecting behemoth of a patron in a bar -- or momentarily turned into road decor thanks to a passing shin." Again he scoffed.

The land of the larger races spelled catastrophe for the fae whose tallest stature expanded to the middle finger of an average person. A sneeze within range could not only soak the unsuspecting fae from wing to toe, but blow him or her out of tragectory. "At least its easier for say ... me .. to hide and blend in the folliage."

As if to prove his point, he flew off to the left and into a thicket of leaves. For a moment he could still be seen, the vibrant purple-blue glow of his skin. Then, he looked like nothing more than a flower, one of many who hung from the branches -- all of matching glow. "See? In your empire, I can't find a place to hide unless I'm burning my loincloth off."

"I didn't mean..." Lirael supressed a sigh. She was starting to like the guy. He was just as easily upset as she could be. As momentarily no words formed themselves in the core of her mind, Lirael's lips were passive, while her ears listened intently to the fea's sentences.

Grinning slightly she watched the small male camouflage himself. "Interesting..." she started, getting upon her feet, while making sure she wouldn't slip and fall. That would've been quite the humiliating action... and Lirael was quite capable of such things, though she would never ever admit it.

"Seems we have something in common afterall." she added after straightening the dress-like attire she wore at the moment. Gazing around, the youngen decided a tree branch would do well enough for now.

Her eyes slid over the structure and the shape, every single atom that made it the way it was. For the Ki'mei this actually seemed to be a very long time, for the outside world it was about 10 seconds, before the little fea turned into a branch that stuck itself against the trunk. It was practically identical to the one below it, cept for the fact that the light fell differently of course.

After being 'plant' or part of it one would have to say, the young female changed back to her previous form. "Except for the fact that I'm not bound to one place of course." she added after taking a deep breath. Changing forms still took quite the energy, something that would improve with practice and training. Both which she had to take care of on her own.

"It's nice to meet someone who's skilled at camouflage." she stated, sitting herself against the trunk, "I'm still at the beginnings of my ability. If I'm right lots of practice should make me able to change in less then the blink of an eye." Her sky blue eyes lit up at the thought of it. Not only would it be life-saving in somesituations, it would be a delight to fool the creatures around her.

"Actually have you ever tried going into Ki'mei territory?" she suddenly asked, a small, probably foolish idea coming to mind. This fea did know about camouflage and maybe could help her perfect her skill. In exchange, she would try and help him find a way to become less bound to the woods he lived in. Not that he needed it, but it would broaden his horizon so to say.

((*cracks knuckles* time to rp like I used to, sorry if I'm a bit rusty))

"Ahahahahaha!" shouted a shadowy figure, swinging around a large weapon around and over his head. His feet were firmly planted on a mountain of dead bakeneko, all taken down in different fashions: Decapitated, limbs missing, skull cracked open, etc. The blood at the bottom formed a crimson pool that only some demons would truly appreciate. Other than the figure's shadow, all one could see would be the red eyes of a madman, and the white grin of a lunatic, enjoying every moment after his massacre.

All was as planned, until his eyelids opened, and his eyes revealed the fact that he was merely in bed. Damn... He cursed mentally, blinking a few times before deciding to wake up. His hands were clasped together under his head, and most of his body was in a fetal position only most children would adopt. He slowly turned his stomach towards the ceiling, his limbs following the movement, flopping over him like cooked noodles. He closed his eyes and strecthed out his muscles as he yawned loudly, disturbing some surrounding trainees that had been up hours ago. "Hey you lazy a*****e, why don't you get up as the same time as everyone else and train?" a newly assigned youth exclaimed. The others surrounding him were shaking their heads and making faces at the new one, signaling him to stop talking.

The sleepy one looked at the other trainee with his eyelids half way down, an apathetic look that made him look clueless. Gaining momentum by swinging his arms forwards and using his waist to lift himself, his upper body rised off of the bed. That half-assed look was given again to the obediant trainee, the other males slowly leaving the room, not wanting to support their arrogant comrade. The lazy one put his hands on the bed to support his legs as they swung themselves off the bed and unto the floor; stumbling as he lifted himself away from his sleeping tool, he stared at the annoying trainee. The new ki'mei's forehead almost twitched with annoyance, his words falling on sleepy ears, and being stared at by stupid-looking eyes. He fixed his posture, showing his chest and speaking with the authority he lacked "Look you sack of s**t, I don't care if the others are scared, I'll stand up for the ru-" His sentence was sharply interrrupted by an attack to his ribs.

While the youth spoke, the sleepy one put his right leg behind him, and then let his body sway forward, like a falling tree. While falling, his left leg quickly shot out to the ground, and his hips twisted gracefully, as the power shot up from his leg, into the palm of his hand. The blur of flesh landed right on the tarinee's ribs, inhibiting his respiration, but not breaking any bones. "Shut up..." claimed the aggressive male "You're disturbing my teddies" He stated, pointing to his violet colored pijamas, featuring pink teddy bears hugging and riding stars together.

Enter--Shurik--The looney martial artist.

((I don't expect a response to this post, I just put it up here for my own personal amusement.

On another note, I'd love to hear comments about it: Was it boring? Lacking description? More emotion?

I feel like i'm alittle rusty, so any and all comments are appreciated.))

The boy frowned, carefully playing with his bottom lip. "Ever thought about going to Ki'mei territory?" He mused, darting out of his hiding space as to do a lazy little loop in the air before coming to hover in space, much like a dragon fly would do. "I've been there once and I nearly became mulch, but who's to say I won't again?"

It was now that more of his personality (well, besides the love-sick puppy side) came to show. A rather mischievous grin swept across his otherwise cherub-like demeanor. Again he looped about in the air, resembling more a shimmer of light bouncing off the water's surface then a flying creature. Oh, the mischief he could get into! The problems he could cause-- He could just see himself casting a quick curse on an unsuspecting soldier so that he fell in love with the first thing he saw; what was it going to be, a dog, a companion, a flower, his own reflection? The mischievous little faerie wanted to laugh. The last time that had happened, the maiden he had cast such spell on had fallen in love with her foot.

Thankfully the spell wore off before the maiden had demanded that a priest show up as to wed her to that beloved foot of hers. One could say that the faerie of this world were very much like the legendary leprechaun of other worlds: wickedly mischievous.

The moonlight illuminated the clearing in scattered streams. The carrion eating birds scattered in a flurry of feathers. A larger creature lumbered from the clearing edge. Sniffing the air the creature let its tongue hang as drool coated the jungle floor. Crossing the clearing slowly, the creature stopped looking over its soon to be meal. Blue eyes, formerly piercing now, with dull silver pupils, stared blankly, lifelessly at the ground. A gaping hole, bigger than a fist, seemed to call out for its missing organ. The corpse sat in a pool of black ichour. Blood, black-end by the moons cold stare. The hole held freshness to it, a disturbance in the settling blood from the carrion feeders. Still, it called for the missing piece that lay at the feet. There, still, dark as the pool it sat in, and untouched, Kentaro’s heart.

* * * *

The raging waterfall drowned out all sounds. The powerful falls shattered on the rocks below, stripping them clean, always clean. Clinging to the slippery rock, Diss held himself up on all fours, against the water, the vengeful force, still angry from the death of the gyuuki it seemed. The water however did the same to him as it did the rocks. Stripping him clean of the blood, from the gyuuki and the Ki’Mei. Weakened from the fight and coupled with the lack of eating, he struggled to hold himself up in the pounding water. What the water didn’t wash away, mud would take care of. Feeling the end of his limits near, Diss slipped off the rock into the pool. Once on shore he laid in the sand, the softest bed available. Freezing to death from sleeping naked and wet were not his cocerns for not sleeping. It simply wasn’t safe to do so.

((there, now anyone can interact with me))

The changeling smiled slightly, she didn't mind having some fun at the Ki'mei territory, as it had been as boring as the uniforms they were supposed to wear, simple blacks with lots of grey was the standard. This fea would bring some colour in life.

And some colour would be apreciated. They would develop their skills, create some trouble, which hopefully wouldn't effect Lirael's position too much or would indeed bring her into advantage and one day they might even seize power. Oh how lovely was it to fantasize about the future... And who knew what could be true of these imaginations.

Now she thought of it, she didn't at all know his name. Brushing some curles out of her face, the Ki'mei eyed the little male, noticing a small grin upon his face. "Actually what's your name?" she tilted her head slightly, wandering whether he had heard her through all the thoughts that were occupying his mind. Not that the young woman could read minds, but the look upon the dark fea's face said enough.

Meanwhile her gaze was already wandering through the area again, resting upon the border once more, before the blue orbs caught the form of what seemed to be a man. "Interesting..." she mused, getting upon her feet to bow over and try to see the figure a little better. Even from a distanec like their own, one could see he wasn't doing too well.

"Hey, come and look." she gestured at the little male that was flying through the air without trouble. Her red wings opened slightly as Lirael leaned foreward to point out what she had seen. "We could have some fun with that." she mused aloud, "And otherwise we could always find out what he's doing here."she added as if to sound a little more intelligent.

((Uuuwwoooh! It's Andy! -Waves, before he starts o his post.-))

A Tengu youth walked along the jungle floor, his eyes scanning the ground elow him. Signs of battle were present, those signs were broken trees, uneven and broken ground, and burnt trees and foliage. In fact it would be more accurate to say that embers still burned brightly. Yes, yes.. He'd been here recently. That very youth paused a moment to draw in the air around the battle zone.

Those eyes which still carried their humanoid form were obscured by a pale eyelid and carried to the black heavens. No, he wasn't merely drawing in the air.. It was the scent, the sounds, everything. Even the scent which was, oddly, the first he took in. He hadn't been blessed with the nose of a bakeneko, that was true, but his own abilities were enough.

He inhaled deeply as he kept his eyes, shut, directed to the realm of the Akashita. He could smell more than cornage. It was a pleasant smell, that much was certain, as a smile crossed his mask-covered lips. The dominant scent was that of smoke, or to be more accurate the strong scent which was so distinctive it could only be described as what it was: burning wood. Somehow sweet, easily able to remind one of a winter evening. Next was a scent also distinctive and unable to be confused for anything else - death. Blood.

It was as these scents mixed together with the floral scent of surrounding flowers and water near by that made it truly pleasant. More than just the scent however the crackling of embers attempting to burn anything in the grasp filled his ears, as well as the deadly silence of a battle zone. The animals had scattered as it was their instinct to do so, and thusly there was only that crackling and the gentle breeze which caressed those lengthy strands of silk which tumbled from his head.

As if he had just awakened, those eyes opened only to blink once. Those eyes remained focused on the sky above for but a moment before they returned to the path before him. It was at that moment the fact that his position was truly bizarre would hit home. He was a lone Kamikiri deep in Bakeneko territory, the lowest in the Tengu ranks with the most ferocious beasts on the August Star.

Yet he had a very air about him of dominance, arrogance. Yet at the same time, he appeared untouchable - it was strange to say but h was still glowing from an unsatisfactory battle. The battle in itself was disgustingly easy, and opponet who didn't understand that his technique was absolution compared to the sloppy sowrdplay and poorly planned attacks which had been set forth against the Tengu youth. Because of this, he was happy with his own abilities. It proved that he had some skill.

Those obscured lips twisted themselves into a broad smirk as he recalled a past that was not o his own. No, it was a past that was his own but a past that should have died. "I wouldn't even be a match for the scum of the Ki'mei, isn't that what you said - Kyari?" he spoke aloud, his voice and purring. Needless to say he was proud of himself for proving the demoness wrong.

He stepped forward, only to pause as that chocolate gaze was lowered to the ground once more. Sorrow quickly entered his gaze, those masked brows furrowing. He still held humanoid eyes, but for how long until he realized that his former self as dead. Indeed, the existence known as 'Satsuya' was dead, Fujin taking the place that the flesh of the shrine youth once held. He was a demon, he had higher abilities.

He was no longer human, and be default he was no longer the existence 'Satsuya.'

Yet he still clung to that name deep within. What did that mean? The thought of leaving that 'self' behind was terrifying, and shook him to the core. It meant that he was truly no longer what he once was, and that meant that he had no more room to be with Kyari. That.. That was something he realized when she spoke those words. However it took a moment for the gravity of the situation to take hold of him. The more he thought, and realized that he was split apart from Kyari the moment he accepted the flesh of a Tengu.

He could almost feel it, the dark aura trying to enter his flesh. Enter his being, and take his soul and make it something perverse, something dark. Perhaps.. Perhaps it was not somthing he could feel with his flesh, but deep down at his core where a soul still tried to hold onto his human self was slowly being violated by the presence of darkness. No, the existence that was of his 'self' and the existence that was his new 'self' were merging. Mocking the world he was in, it was balance: yin and yang. In a world of disorder he felt that there was at least balance within his 'self.'

Fujin and Satsuya were not nessicarily two seperate entities, but an evolved state which had aged and become distorted from it's original form. Like a butterly, if one wanted to look at it in such a manner. Morphing from a lowly worm into something beautiful. Truly, truly beautiful.

Those eyes, once heavy with sorrow had become piercing and multi-colored like a dark rainbow which faded from light into gold. The left was of a humanoid orb, and the right side the trademark piercing black and golden eye of a tengu. A hunting bird who only sought prey to support it's existence. He sought not to hunter down a certain Kyari demoness, but to ensure that she would be his once more.

All of this carried out behind her back, so that Mikaboshi would be blind to his actions. How? He didn't understand that yet. He knew one thing, however, he wouldn't do it by standing still. He stepped forward once again, and it wasn't long until he was carried to the corpse of a Kentaro. Those bizarre and multi-colored orbs fell on the heart, and then the head which stared up at him, dead. Life still tried to return to the corpse, and Fujin couldn't help but grunt in disgust.

"Idiot. The heart has nothing to do with it." His voice rumbled, low - in a correcting manner meaning no ill will in the event that which brought defeat unto Kentaro was still within hearing range. "The brain is where the regenerative ability is programmed." and it was at that point, the geta-sandal protected foot slammed itself down onto the mass that was Kentaro's head.

Blood gushed out and soaked his white sock, and pink rolled across the ground along with the darkness of Kentaro's blood. Brain, blood, and fragments of bone. It was at that point, the Tengu youth stooped down.
______________________________________________________________

The youth had, when he was done with the corpse, walked onward to a nearby pool of water he had heard. Well, it would be more accurate to say that he heard the waterfall, and yet he was still oblivious to the presence of the Bakeneko.

Hands were coated in blood and pink was under his fingernail and clung to his digits. One could only guess what the youth had been up to, especially with his left eye covered. His mask had become bizarre to look at, even as far as the mask of a Tengu goes. The left side where his humanoid eye had been held had been whited out, the mask still bubbling and oozing. Trying to reject and foreign object which Fujin forced it to merge with with the use of a particularly hot rock.

Fujin paused, however, when he saw the bakeneko crawling from the water, that singular eye staring at him piercingly. A hungry bird had no qualms about hunting down a domestic cat, and Fujin's stomach was rumbling. However, he was a being who behaved in a civilized manner. He continued with hi business, his unobscured eye seeking out the water to lead the youth to. Even in the flesh that still appeared to be of seventeen young years old, he carried an air of arrogance about him.

"Bakeneko, I come with no ill will. You, Bakeneko, are in no condition to fight and I wish not to fight a battle whih will leave me further unsatisfied. It's bad enough you took my prey away from me, I was waiting to see if that Ki'mei had any potential." his words were delivered harshly as he stooped down to cleanse his hands, although blood still clung to his form. Especially the bottoms of his robe and his sleeves. "If at all possible I'd like to be on 'friendly terms.' However this I promise you: if you attack you will fall within three strokes of my sword."

One might guess that he was completly open, for he was crouched down and busy washing his hands. However, he painted a picture for the bakeneko near by - that voice of his low and rumbling out once more - as if it were a thunder storm unleashed. "At this moment you will fall at the hand of a strike delivered to your abdomen. This is, of course, if you charge me from my side. The blade will be pulled, and striking outward will spill your innards. I, of course, wont have to move much from this position."

The thoughts of mischief and evil slowly crumbled about him the moment his little ears beheld that dreaded group of words. The smile faded only to be replaced by an annoyed pout. Again, his cheeks puffed up and out as he turned so that his back faced his Beloved. Oh-- OH how could she ask him such a question, did she not know the pain that caused? The horrible bruising to his ego, not to mention his psyche? But the girl was perfect and hence, she could do no harm or ill upon his figure... perhaps, she didn't know.

The boy hesitated, anger quickly rising and subsiding like a balloon filled with hot air to the point of bursting then allowed to expel the heat quickly. His emotions were like that, disheveled, twisted and bent out of shape-- pruney and faded. "Leslie." He mumbled, his cheecks acquiring that sickly purple blue as a blush mingled with the color of his skin. Trully, his face now looked like a ripe eggplant. "My name is Leslie."

Wouldn't the elders of his tribe be mad at him for admitting his name? The Fae were superstitious folk who believed great power lied in one's name; basically, the changling now *owned* Leslie -- she held the key to his power and that alone was the quick-to-love little fae's own fault. The trouble he could get into was incredible... yet he trusted her, and why, he didn't know exactly.

Curious, and hoping that she hadn't heard him quite right, the boy turned to glance at the girl. He zoomed at her side and hovered a bit over her head in an attempt to look at what she was referring to. " ... are you referring to that bakeneko?" His fingertip pointed to the waterfall where the strewn cat-demon and now Tengu male resided. He had the urge to groan, to scream... what had he gotten himself into?

Bakeneko and Fae were neither enemies nor friends; the two creatures simply avoided one another as to provide space and privacy. The Fae took to the treetops and the giant cats to the jungle floor....but when anyone, *anyone* tried to take over their mutual territory, well, it wasn't uncommon to see the two beings fight side by side. It was an unspoken and unwritten alliance of sorts.

"Crap." As he muttered, Leslie's hand snatched the changling's own once more. "I just hope the cat's not injured so he can take care of this on his own, but..." He let the words hang from his lips as he led them to the waterfal at fast breaking speed.

Too bad they were too far away to hear anything. Too bad that Leslie could prove to be nothing more than an obnoxious fly to the Tengu's eyes.

[I forgot it was my turn to respond, Drunken.]

Mimi hesitated, her eyes flickering from the unatended kits to the fast-dissapearing male. The choice was simple: either the cubs starved to death or they died quickly at the hands of a predator. Both deaths were horrible, just one worse than the other-- and Mimi would hate herself if she allowed the children to die because of hunger.

"Wait for me!" She yelled, footsteps picking up in an effort to catch up to the boy. Soon they were side by side, strides matching strides-- hers a little quicker due to her height. "I thought you were her mate...I didn't mean to presume anything. My apologies."

What, a female apologizing to a male neko? If any of her superiors were to witness the feat, she'd be flogged and the male killed. Still, Mimi didn't care. It wasn't like anyone was watching; this part of the jungle, for the most part, was empty of society's presence. "By the way, I apologize for Hak'kan's behavior.. he's not like this often..."

Again she swallowed the misery that was fast rising in her throat and bit into the inside of her cheek. Mayhaps the foraging couple would run into her mate and things would be resolved. Right? Oh, foolish, foolish naive girl, didn't she understand that her accompanying the other male could only complicate things? Mimi alone in the jungle with a man other than Hakkan...

"So.. what's your name then?"

Hijiri had to pause at the apology. It was a foreign word to him, and to hear it coming from a female - and directed at him, no less - was something worthy of a double take in his mind. Not only was it one apology, but two, that graced the female's lips. Well. This was turning into a not half bad day, if he did say so himself.

"Mate?" he scoffed, a look of disdain crossing his face. "Who'd want a mate like her? Not that I'd have much of a choice in the matter if it were so..." he grumbled bitterly as he tredged on, his eyes darting around the foliage for the type of tree that carried their conquest.

"Speaking of mates, you and that Hak'kan kid are together, aren't you?" It was more of a statement than a question, really. He was just confirming what he believed to be true from what he'd observed. It was just a poorly phrased sentance in general. Besides, he was in no position to call the other male a kid. He was most likely younger than the other by a good year or two.

"I'm Hijiri." he stated simply - almost bitterly - as he came to a stop underneath a particular tree in response to the female's question. without another word, the lithe boy began scaling the trunk of the tree to reach the hardened fruit nestled amongst the branches in the canopy. He paused once he reached the first low hanging branches and gave the female a pointed look over his shoulder.

"Well? Come on, female. Start climbing." he chided her snappishly. He wasn't about to do all the work by himself. girls were supposed to be the maternal, baby loving ones, anyways. If it weren't for his soft spot for kids himself, he wouldn't even be bothering to get the stupid fruit. He mentally reminded himself that he wasn't really supposed to be talking to a female in such a way. Who knew if she'd cut off his tail for his imudence or something of the like? He begrudgingly reminded himself to be more polite from then on, no matter how much he hated the idea.

((S'okay. ^^))

If Mimi weren't so preocupied about what sort of trouble Hakkan was going to get himself into (the boy was an idiot at times), she would have snapped a comment or two in Hijiri's direction. For the most part, Mimi was a soft spoken individual, pretty much all the things a person would expect to NOT be a part of a Bakoneko's personality. However, she was the sort of person to demand respect, spoken or unspoken. The only times she ever resorted to violence was when in front of others that actually had any say in her family's status.

It was hard keeping up appearances and not dishonoring one's family when everything they did was against their personal moral code.

"Well, she's not that bad. My sisters are worse, at least she's got some maternal instinct no matter how unsucessful it may seem. Truth of the matter, no matter what her choices have been thus far, a lot of innocents have benefited." Was her responce to Hijiri's remark regarding the kit's mother. As far as Hakkan was concerned... "Yes, the idiot and I are a couple... at least I do believe."

Believe? How could she doubt the relationship? Well, Hak'kan was being more sensative than usual-- could it be he was being threatened by Hijiri's presence when it came to Mimi's affection. To be honest, Mimi couldn't figure it out and as far as she was concerned, maybe he had simply stopped caring. Their relationship was not as simple and clear cut as it had been in the beginning.

Slowly but surely Hijiri's snide little remarks were beginning to get to Mimi. What had she done to him anyway? As far as she knew, she'd been rather kind to the male youth although it was not her place to do so. The girl bit her tongue, remembering that he had every right to be mad at the female society; theirs was a cruel, viscious, women-friendly world.

"Its Ky--Mimi. Its Mimi," Corrected the warrioress as she dug her claws into the tree trunk as to pull herself forth. Kyaroru was the soldier of the Bakeneko Empire, the woman who had to kill and fight to protect, save the Kusanagi's honor. "Mimi" was the name given to her by friends...the ones that knew her best. "Not 'female.' I'd appreciate if you would adress me as such."
