The fire nation isn't bad. well at least when souzens comet isn't aro8und. then they can wipe out entire countries in a matter of days.

lily_maiden I'm thinking they're like the germans of the Holocaust time, dillusioned by a crazy leader and following blindly keeping all independent thought to themselves for fear of persecution or porsecution Thats a good analogy! It does seem like that. Espeshaly when Zao was making that speach and all those firenation soilders were chanting.

Think of it like Hitler's Germany or present day Cuba...
Both countries rulled by tyranical maniacs with absolute power... Neither ruler allowed the citizens to voice their own opinions on how things were constructed. Sure there were people who were all for what their leader's wanted. But then there are those who weren't and couldn't speak out.
Or you could put it in context as America...
The war started and people opposed or supported it. There were Republicans who stuck with Bush 100% just because they're Republican. But then there were Republicans who where against the war and felt that just because they are Republicans didn't mean they had to agree with their President. The same goes for the Democrats. The Government even tried to put a silence on Anti-war Propoganda... However this is America and so you can only silence so much.
So if that simplified it down to think of it as your own country rather than foreign countries... I hope it helped.
But yeah, it's probably like that. 3nodding
