Poet nods to herself, finally noticeing that Cauchy is no longer doing her assigned task. "I think a break sounds good," she said with a knowing eye to Cauchy. She looked around the swamp, they'd need a dry place of sorts if they were to sit at all. She saw what looked to be a petrified log, for it was laying on its side but seemed hard and dry. She walked over and tapped it, making sure it wasn't hallow.
"I think this'll do nicely," she said while sitting. As she did she realized just how sore her feet were getting from all that walking. She'd have to invest in a bike soon if she didn't want terrible blisters. She pulled from her pack a juice bottle and some soft berries for Cauchy.
Cauchy got a mischeivious look in her eye. "I think I got caught shirking my duties," she said, refering to Poet's commant that she fly up high and ahead to watch for Wild Pokemon.

((Okay.... I'm no expert at dolls, but here, I tried. Twice. XD XD Oookay. And here's my lovely Miras. biggrin ------------------ Miras... what are you doing? The albino sandshrew was lying down on a tree stump, ignoring Mythee's pleas for her to continue walking. Come on. We need to keep going. There's a stream up ahead... The sandshrew rolled over onto her back, looking up at the sky, and then yawned. Mythee sighed melodramatically, picking the white thing up. Miras only slumped lazily in Mythee's arms as she carried the pokemon across the swamp's putrid greenery, and towards the small river that zigzagged around this wet place. Mythee glanced up at a tree, spotting a spinarak. She smiled at it and put Miras down. Mythee's sudden attention attracted Miras's one and they both stared at the spinarak for such a long time that it finally scuttered away. Miras looked back down at the stream, and headed towards it to have a drink. "Well, that was the only interesting thing to look at." It was no use trying to get her sandshrew into a fight. Miras was completely and entirely pacifist, and would not bother to do anything rash. Well, at least she wasn't hard to take care of. Just hard to carry. Looking at Miras, Mythee said: "You know, you're heavier than you look." Who knows how Miras had gotten attached to Mythee. She had not even fought, or hunted the sandshrew, or anything. They only befriended each other casually, Mythee having picked Miras up from a batch of aggressive shrews who seemed unfriendly to their albino sister, and taken care of her ever since. A pokeball was not that useful, although it would save Mythee the trouble of carrying Miras. Mythee wondered absently if anyone would be here, breathing this warm, humid air in this austere place, besides her.

((Pokemon can talk? O__O Well then, I guess Miras is mute. XD))
Miras wandered off slowly, sniffing the ground as she followed the path of the river. She continued exploring to look for any interesting stuff that she could bring back to Mythee. Maybe some food. Mythee was taking a nap the other way, so she did not know that Miras was walking around by herself. The rather big, white sandshrew came to a halt when she saw Morgane and her Magikarp. She just stood there, staring, hesitating between running away or meeting the people. What if they thought she was wild? It had happenned numerous times in the past. She stood on four feet , staring cutely at Morgane with her biiig, shineeyyy, baby eyes. xd xd xd

Miras's eyes widen, and then she blinks, after the trainer unexpectedly leaped upon her in an enthusiastic show of appreciation. The sandshrew is moved by the hug and stands up to put both her paws on one of Morgane's shoulders, expecting to be picked up and snuggled.
Mythee, running by the stream, headed towards the scene, and wondered who it was touching HER Miras. If they did anything to her...

As expected, the girl snuggles Miras, a stupid expression on her face." Cuuute!" The idea of the Sandshrew being someone's pet doesn't go through Morgane's mind... not until she sees Mythee coming. " Oh. You're not wild, are you?" Her cheeks become as red as the Sandshrew's eyes." Are you this cutie's owner?"
She knew something would go wrong. Hoping that this won't lead to a fearsome fight, she crawls away slowly.

Peot looked on with a rather silly expresion on her face as she admired the cute pokemon. She had just begun to wonder what the probablility of finding a Sandshrew in the swamp, a Ground type where mostly Poisons would be. Her onperings were soon answered as Morgane notices another person coming toward them. Yes, that makes much more sence. She assumed a Ground type wasn't likely to enjoy living in a place where the ground was too soft to safely dig in.
Cauchy was already high when Jorm asked his question and so neither heard nor answered it. He did notice the Trainer from afar coming at a fast pace and came back down to Poet's level to watch what would happen. He gave Jorm a reasuring message, "No pokemon sighted so far, if we don't see them we don't have to fight them." She didn't care either way really, but she didn't want Jorm forced to do anything he didn't want to do.

Once Mythee saw that the person meant no harm, she stopped running, pausing for a moment, and walked towards her while glaring at Miras. She then looked back at Morgane, and said: "Um... not exactly. Well, good afternoon- I'm sorry about Miras, she tends to walk around alone once in a while, so a lot of people mistake her for a wild pokemon." Mythee sighed, wondering what Miras was up to. She was usually shy, and did not go towards people. Then again, if it was to get petted... People could carry you off, and you'd never see me again, you know. Mythee thought, looking at Miras again. You might be forced to battle some day...

((It's okay! XP))
Miras glances back up at Morgane, still wanting to be held, but then shrugged it off and sat down besides Mythee, her attention now directed to the various things floating by in the stream. Mythee smiled at Jormungand, and said: "Oh, it's fine..." She paused and waved at the magikarp childishly. Hello Jormungand! "...It's my fault for leaving her unsupervised."
Miras looked at the Magikarp who asked her a question, and lifted an arm to point at her snout, trying to show her that she was mute.

"Well, I didn't really find her. She just burrowed out of the ground one day, seeking my protection, so I've been taking care of her ever since." She then smiled at Jormungand again, seeing that she understood Miras' disability. "Your magikarp's scales are beautiful- I absolutely adore gold! I believe she will become a wonderful Gyarados one day."
Miras nodded cheerfully towards Jorm and gestured towards a tree, then starting to climb on top. Then she went back to Jorm and pointed up the tree, then to the magikarp, then to the tree again. She meant to bring Jormungand up there so that she may see from a more elevated height.

" Really? So, instead, she found you. I see!" Morgane nods distractly. She thought it was lucky to be foud and adopted by a Pokémon rather than the opposite." I do hope too", she replies." She's not too fond of fights, so she hasn't evolved yet... she might evolve soon, however. It would be nice." It sure would be better to have a Gyarados rather than an scaredy cat of a Magikarp...
Jorm doesn't get the point at first." Tree? Climbing? Me?" That's after some reflection that she understands it, and thinks that she's a fool for not having found it out faster." Me, climbing on the tree? It's nice, but how on the earth could I possibly climb that?" She was, of course, unapt to get up there, but also... the height! She's sure she will have a vertigo is she manages to get up there, though she hasn't had vertigo of her whole life.

"Hmm. You may be right... and Miras has never fought since she came to me, so every time an agressive wild pokemon comes up, we just run. Thankfully, we've never encountered anything too big and quick." She rubbed the back of her head nervously.
Miras seemed sad for a moment, but then lightened up. She stood, grabbed Jorm out of the water, and carried her to the tree. She then climbed it with one arm, easily burying her sharp claws into the trunk and hauling herself onto a branch. She then held the magikarp in her arms and waved at the gaping Mythee who had seen the whole thing.
"Miras, get Jormungand down from there! It's dangerous!"
Miras ignored Mythee, and looked at Jorm as if asking how the view was.
