That is soooo loosely related to the book it hurts.
I kinda want to see it, though. As its own story as opposed to the book.

The Queen of the Damned movie was nothing like the book, but I still liked it. I hope Blood and Chocolate is the same.

I loved that book, a lot better than her other one (silver kiss). When I saw the add for the movie I...actually squealed...I felt like such a fangirl...

Try not to judge the movie on the trailer. Rather go see it for yourself then say so.

heh after falling in love with AB books. its hard to me to read any other vampire/werewolf book.
i keep waiting for jean-claude, or nathaniel to come it. =[

i keep waiting for jean-claude, or nathaniel to come it. =[ yea thats like me. im so used to lkhs style when it comes to vamps and werewolves that a lot of other series are too ...slow or weird to me

Just saw the movie! heart
*spoilers*
To start off with, it is definitely NOT like the book. I haven't read the book myself, but one of the friends I went with has, and she was going, "Gwah?!" the whole movie. The movie's like an alternate universe. The character Vivian doesn't end up with in the book she ends up with in the movie, and in the movie she ends up killing the character she ends up with in the book.
However, it was good. The plot was different, but it wasn't bad. Bit predictable, but I liked it (still going to read the book, though.) Course, I'm a sucker for the "******** your shitty traditions," storylines. And for ripped half-naked guys, but that's probably too much information.

I just saw the movie too, and it was good.
Just view it as a different story than the book.
It's hilarious, btw.

This Monday my mom is taking me to go see Blood and Chocolate with some friends.
I'm excited cause it looks really good. I just hope I'm not disappointed.
I worry about them making a movie of any Anita Blake books cause if they choose an actor to play Jean-Claude or anyone for that matter and they're a disappointment I would be SO pissed off. Plus they would probably cut out alot of stuff.
I also heard they're suppose to be making a movie based of the first few books of Cirque Du Freak. I wonder how that'll turn out.

I <3 Annette Curtis Klause.
She's one of my favorite authors despite the fact that she's only written three books.
I have ever intention of seeing Blood and Chocolate but I'm not really....jumping for joy...about the changes. I guess I'll just have to take it seperately.
I DO recommened her ACK's other books though. If you want to read about Vampires, her book The Silver Kiss is awesome. It was my first Vampire book and the one that drew me into the genre.
I also reccomend Alien Secrets. Yes, it IS closer to science fiction but it's just as an amazing read as the other two novels.

Totally diffrent than the book, they should've sadi 'inspired by' not 'based on'. But still a very good movie over all.

i've only just heard that they have done this movie...where have i been? just watched the trailer and it doesn't look anything like what happens in the book....i was so excited when i first heard about it.....i hope it is a good film...will so have to see it
