From what I now about Fairy Rings, I do believe that it is frowned upon to step in them. However, being near them is not a problem, just stepping in them and disturbing the ring is not a good thing. Be careful.

ok if i am thinking of the right fairy ring, the mushroom thing right?, the mushrooms are poizonous. so dont touch them. i havent seen any fairy rings arownd me so i dont know to much about them...

The other day when one of my Wiccan friends was over, we were exploring my backyard and we found a fairy ring. It was great, it was the first time that i'd ever found one in my own yard. That's probably because this is the only place i've ever lived that they're actually welcome....But my friend and I were careful not to disturb the circle in any way. We know better. ^_^
P.S. I don't know what my problem is tonight...For some reason I keep writing a bunch of run-on sentences...Sorry. O_o

Mmm, That must have been nice to see the circle there.._^ Don't worry about the run on sentences though... I'm sure we all do that now and then... I do.. I have this obsession with dots.......

Random thought - what's the difference between crop circles and faery rings? Is a crop circle just a name given to faery rings if they don't believe in faeries, or what? sweatdrop

No, crop circles actually appear in... well, crops. Wheat or something equally easy to break. smile [ x] And fairy rings are construced of mushrooms... Or so I am told. smile
