Hivu shook her head, "Alright then Nac, just don't be mean about it." She said tiredly, she was getting rather tired of dealing with these arguments. "Theres a good girl Bu, just wait a while and you can worry about those things all you want." She said with a laugh.
"Ku, your brother and sister do not dislike you, we all love eachother, right everyone?" She asked, petting Kumbu gently.
Kumbu huffed, "Yeah right, Bu and Nac not like Kumbu, they think they better off without Kumbu!" She said angrily, stalking off into the jungle as fast as her little legs would carry her.
"Kumbu better off without Bu and Nac!"
"Kumbu! Come back here right now little missy." Hivu said called, rushing after her and bringing her back promptly. "Don't you ever do that again, do you understand?" She said in a stern tone.

Nac watched his sisters for a second before looking back at himself. "I'll try to be nice as long as she's nice." He nodded towards Ku tail flickering softly before purring.
"Yes ther's love for everyone... just more for some than others sometimes." Of course he was refering to himself.

Bu shot a cold glare at Nac quickly with a stern growl. Sometimes males could be jerks, she just had to remember that. TUrning back to her sister and mother she smiled.
"There is love for everyone" she spoke, "for everyone equally." Bu finished staring directly at Nac. Alright, so she was a little off mood but....carefully putting her paw on her brother, she gave a firm push and let gravity pull him into the river. Yes, very off mood.

Hivu shook her head, "How about we do something else shall we? You all should learn to climb trees, hows that for a family activity?" She asked, pulling Nac gently out of the river and ushering all the cubs towards some of the trees. "Go on then, lets see what you can do on your own." she said, hoping to keep them occupied for a while.
"Kumbu can do that!" She said confidantly, immidiately choosing one of the taller trees and looking at it with the deepest concentration. She crouched down and jumped, digging her tiny claws into the tree bark and propelling herself up the tree.
She was quickly up on a high branch, for her size she had gotten up there extremely fast. Perhaps this was the thing she could surpass her siblings at? "Careful Nac, don't mess up your fur!" She teased, fixing some of her fur that had moved out of place during her climb.

Drawing up his legs he murfed. Looking towards Bu, whom he thought he could trust, but it seemed he ended up being wrong about her. Tail flickering irratedly he used his paws to wring the water from his poor fur.
"Oh you hush...." He muttered crossly. Looking towards a different on he was put down he hoped over to it and skitted up towards the lowest branch his could find. Laying down on it; it just so happened the branch was almost eye level with his mother. "Mother must they always pick on me?? And why am I the only boy?" he asked with a soft pout.

Bu smiled and slowly climbed the tree. One by one, the branhes passed as she got higher up them. She could see Ku up there and Nac below her. She was slow but persistant at an equal pace. Slowly she climbed the tree, using her claws to grip. Soon enough, she was on the branch next to Kumbuko.
"Hey there sis." she spoke smiling. Looking down to the lower branches, she heard Nac speak out. "Well that is because you are enough handsome for the family." she complimented, "Now get up here or are you going to let us girls beat the big, strong Narcissus?"

Well, it would seem that her cubs were very good at climbing! Always good, if anything dangerous came the best escape for young ones would be up a tree on the weaker branches where nothing could get them.
"I don't know why you are the only boy Narcissus, but I'm sure you all pick on eachother equally from what I've seen." She said with a nod. Jumping up onto mid-branch and laying down on it, she smiled at him, "Just keep practicing your climbing dear." She yawned, but still keeping a watchful eye on her cubs.
"Hi Bu!" Kumbu said cheerfully, looking down at her brother, "You pick on Kumbu, little man." She said, sticking out her tongue. "Come climb, can Nac make it to the top?" She asked, her sentances were starting to become more fluent, she was adding in those filler words like 'it' and 'the' in her sentance.
She looked around, there were some pretty small branches up here, so small that she could not stand on them. Instead she broke off one of the little branches with her teeth, a new toy! Plus it had a pretty flower on the end of it! "Pretty!" She said happily, twirling the branch between her paws, watching the leaves and the flower spin around in a blur of green and yellow and blue.
"My pretty branch!" She said proudly.

Moveing swifting he climbed up past his mother towards the top of the tree he'd choosen. "You want to know how far I can go?" He said as he took his time climbing up the higher he got the more carefully he chose his branchs untill he was clinging to a very whippy part of the tree. Sticking his tounge out at his sister.
"See Narcissus is not afraid of messing up fur to climb." His tail flickered as he peeked out of the tree and meeped sliding back down a ways. With wide eyes he sat on a pretty sturdy branch just above and across from his sisters. "Big bird...." He muttered looking up to the tip top of the tree again.

Bu scowled, He got higher! Limbua was determine to surpass her brother being the oldest sibling there. Carefully, she climbed to a branch just slightly higher than his. She was proud and happy.
What did he say? Big Bird? Actually scared, she climbed down to the branch Nac was one. Safety in numbers. "N-Nac, what is up there?" She quivered and stared down to her mother for some help. "M-mom?"

Hivu chuckled and watched her cubs play in the branches, this was much easier than being on the ground. She probably could have fallen asleep if she wanted. But what was this? A big bird? She was much to heavy to go up so high, but a bird couldn't do more than scare them, even if it was big. It would probably steer clear anyways.
"Its alright Bu, you can come down if you like."
"Ha! Kumbu is not afraid of any bird." She said, clambering up as high as she could, even seeing over the tops of the trees. "No bird here, nope!" She said confidantly, looking around. Even if there was one, it was long gone by now.
Unfortunately, these branches were incredibly unstable, the one she was on snapped and she barely managed to catch herself by digging her claws into the bark and dropping onto the highest branch that would hold her.
"Kumbu the best climber ever! Kumbu not afraid of big birds, or even falling! See how Kumbu catch herself?" She boasted, proudly sitting atop her 'throne'.

Nac rolled his eyes softly as he slipped down to lower branchs inbetween his sisters and his mother. "We could play tag or hide and seek!" He said looking up at his sisters.
After a few moments he started branch hoping. "But if we play Nac not it!!" He stated gleeing as he moved from one branch to another sometimes slipping and missing a branch but clinging hold to it.

Bu slowly climbed down, hopping from branch to branch until her paws were firmly on the ground. She let out a sigh and scowled at her sister's boasting. One of these days she will be afraid of something and then Bu can just rub it in her face.
"Fine I'll play, Nac." she spoke, padding closer to her mother, "Bu not it." she called, to make sure Ku could hear, she was it. With her on the ground they too would have to come down to get her. She wasn't the smartest, but she was well...maybe she was the smartest of the three siblings.

"Fine, Kumbu will be it, but that means Kumbu chooses the game! Kumbu wants to play tag!" She said gleefully, descending the tree until she was on a low enough branch that she could simply jump to the ground. "Kumbu will give Bu and Nac to the count of three." She said, she was quite confidant that she could outrun either of them. She wasn't the smartest of the bunch, but she was deffinately superior to her sister when it came to speed and stamina. Her brother would be harder, but she still felt that she could catch him.
Kumbu wasn't really unintelligent, she was quick thinking and good at solving problems, just like her mother. Unlike her mother however, she wasn't really witty. Her reflexes were sharp, her body strong, and she was extremely creative, but she did not exel at fluent sentances and disliked big words.
Basically she wasn't the sharpest tool in she shack, but she made up for it... "One," She started counting, eying her siblings from above, waiting for them to make the first move. "Two..."
Hivu merely watched as her cubs began to play. She even lowered her head and closed her eyes. If they got into trouble, she could hear them. Her eyes didn't need to be open.

Nac chuckled and stayed in the tree watching his sister from a branch he peeked towards the river for a second before giving another chuckle. Hhe could jum from one tree to another... maybe

Bu smiled and quickly made her way to the river. Hopping across, getting herself wet, she made it to the other side. Slowly, but surely, she climbed up another tree where the branches were only mere inches from the other. This way if Ku or Nac got close to her she could easily escape to the next tree.
"I'm ready!" she cried. Though, in her mind she was thinking of hide and seek, but that was just a small detail.
