As Christopher's body quaked, he raised his hand and formed a thumbs up position. He tried to chuckle but his crying consumed it. He didn't want to move at all. God help the person who even touched him at that moment as he would not contain himself. He would react rather defensively, most likely bite.
Christopher tried to speak again. His voice was very raspy and rather choked but he managed to struggle out, "W... W... W..ate..r..."

“Water?” God how could I be so dumb! Glacus dashed to the sink surprisingly he found it, grabbed a glass in the sink, and after he rinsed it three times he raced back to Chris. He handed the glass to him, and told him to drink slowly. He was careful not to touch him, he didn’t want to risk him freaking out or hitting him out of confusion, he thought he might be in shock. If he was, Christopher was going to need more help then Glacus could offer.

Christoper drank of the glass very quickly, dispite what Glacus said. He didn't care. He was too thirsty and the taste of his blood was disgusting... that coppery, metallic flavor to it was sickening. It made him nauseous. Christopher drank greedily from his glass until it was dry. He exhaled and tried to calm himself.
"...Th...nk... ou..." Christopher could only mumble. "That wa...s ...ntens..." His speech was terribly slurred as he was quite disoriented and he was not use to his new face either. The formation was foreign to him and was difficult to operate for talking at the moment.
Christopher tried to push himself off the ground, to stand, but he slid out from under himself and smashed the bottom of his jaw against the ground. While the sand helped soften the blow, it hurt. Christopher let out an animalistic yelp and looked up at Glacius with pleading eyes.
"Pl...es..." Christopher slurred. "He...p meh..."

Glacus Watched Chris fall and knew it had to hurt "Can you move your mouth at all?” he hazarded a guess that his jaw might actually be broken.
Whether or not it was he need to check anyway, he got close and offered his hands down to him, trying to see if he could get himself up, so he could sit him on a stool. He also readied his shirt, which was actually his only shirt he had with him, incase there was blo.od flow.

Christopher took Glacus's hand and used it to hoist himself from the ground. As soon as he stood, he came close to collapsing. His head was spinning and his face was sore. His hands were sore. His new fur was caked with blood. He looked like some monster out of a cheesy B horror flick.
That thought made him grimace. The way wolves and werewolves were portrayed in movies was downright rotten in his book. But he had to let himself remain calm. Wouldn't do much good to invoke his anger again over something so petty. But he did want to wash off a little bit.
Christopher opened his mouth to speak but it was still hard, and what he had to say was a lot. He didn't want to have to speak right now if he didn't have to. He just looked down at his fur, then up at Glacus, then at his glass to give Glacus the hint.

Glacus got the hint, but instead of running over to the sink, Glacus helped him walk to the sink. He turned the water on, and gently put his face in the water. The began to wash off of his face and seemed to be getting some of his strength back. His jaw didn’t appear broken as Glacus’s initial reaction would have though it to be. He said,
“Ahh the recuperative powers of water!” Oh s*** he wasn’t supposed to say that out loud!! Great, his only friend, literally in the world was going to think him a lunatic. But at least he was all right, though he was engorging quite a lot of water…

Christopher tried to respond with "Amen to that" but it came out quite jarbled between his difficulty to speak and through all the water splashing down upon him. He brought his head back up quickly which sent a wave of water spraying backwards onto the bar surface.
Christopher looked toward Glacus and smiled. He was grateful for the help. "...Th...ank yo...u..."
Christopher extended his clawed hand as a form of friendship to this person. He knew what had just occured didn't matter. This person was like him in a sense. Whatever happened externally, it would not change his opinion of that person because it was still them inside. He waited for Glacus to extend his hand as well, hoping the friendship would be mutual.

Glacus shook his hand, stopped and stared Chris’s hand had claws on it, Glacus could only imagine what his would look like in a week after being here. Then he realized he still wasn’t wearing a shirt; he looked around for it, and saw that it was in a sandy pool of Chris’s . “You what really stinks? That was my last shirt.” And then Glacus started laughing. Although while he was laughing, he was till very shook up inside, he had to begin his life all over, but at least he had a friend on this god forsaken isle to help him.

Things had kind of slow since the incident in the jungle for Erik, not much happening. Hoping to meet somebody, or a nice place to read his book, he walked over to where he'd expect people to be at this time, the beachbar.
Almost there, he picked up a very familiar scent. It was Chris alright, but the other scents made him very worried. He smelled blood, Chris' blood, and somebody else was there too. Scary thoughts played in Erik's head, so ran as fast as he could.
Upon reaching the beach bar, he called out, "Chris, are you alri-...", trailing off on seeing the situation. Mouth slightly gaping in confusion, his head tilted slowly.

"It's oooo... k," Christopher was starting to overcome the awkwardness of his elongated face some. "...I hav...e so-m ...xtra clothes at myh... pla-c-e yo... c-an have."
Chris patted Glacius on the shoulder and gave him a hearty smile. But at that moment, Chris felt another presence and could smell someone familiar as well.
'Could it be...?" Christopher wondered as he turned around.
"Erik!" Christopher called out a little happy to see the teenage boy but surprised.

Quckly regaining his composure, Erik gave fang-exposing grin, tail wagging. "So, looks like they got to you, didn't they." he said with a chuckle.
Noting Chris' changes, he concluded that his turning into a dog too.

Christopher chuckled a little but it was mixed with a whine as his mouth still hurt and this intense expression of amusement was not helping the matter. "I gu-ess th-y did..."
Christopher took a moment to look over his changes a little closely, particularly the fur markings which now accompanied him. They were very much like that of a wolf's, but with a red tint to it. The only kind of wolf he knew would have markings such as this was...
"...The great plains wolf!" he shouted out in excitement although he ended up grabbing his jaw in pain as a result. His mouth still sore as hell.
'Owwie...' he simply thought, rubbing his face.
Christopher hopped over the bar and walked toward Erik, almost grabbing onto him out of sheer joy and excitement. "I kno myh an-im-l now! I'm s-o happ-y!"
Even though he was still in a lot of pain, Christopher was overridden with joy. It felt good to know he was getting what he wanted. He was nearly tempted to hug and kiss his two friends in sight or do cartwheels he was so estatic. Instead, he settled for a howl. However, like the previous verbal actions before it, he regretted it, once again holding his hands to his face to rub that area.
'Ok, maybe I should think before I react,' Christopher noted to himself.

Seeing Chris grab his mouth in pain made Erik instantly remeber the soreness that came after his changes."Oh I know how that can feel, let me get something for that."
Going behind the counter for some ice and some paper towels, he heard what animal Chris got and Erik couldn't help but feel happy for him. "Maybe Moreau's got a soul afterall...Nah!!!" he joked.
"I know! It's such a relief, isn't it. After my first talk with Branwan, I was worried I was going to turn into a bug, and after my first change, I wanted to dance for joy if I wasn't so sore."
On that note, Erik wrapped the ice in the paper towel, and he slid it over the counter to Chris, telling him "Here, put this on your jaw, it helps...a lot."

Christopher willingly took the ice packing and pressed it against his jaw. The cold definitely helped soothe the pain a little. However, Chris was still grinning like he found the holy grail. It was good to know he would get what he wanted afterall.
"Th-nk yo-u," Christopher said gratefully. "So... whaat hav yo-u been up t-o...?"

"Not much really, hiking through the jungle, watching MST3K, and reading a lot." he said, pointing towards his book.
"What about you?" he asked.
