“Oh, sure.” He replied, nodding his head in a detached manner. He hadn’t the faintest idea what she meant by having things to do after she rested- but no doubt he was already trying to figure out how he’d weasel himself into those plans. It’d been a while since he’d had someone to speak to! Even if she was a girl, he wasn’t going to pass up that opportunity.
“Right over here!” Sawyer spoke, his voice vibrating in a kind of showman’s tune. He’d forced the old owner out and it was very much like he described it to be. It was a hole in the ground. It looked somewhat reminiscent to a ditch or a poorly dug grave. The coyote that had created it had really only used it to rest when the fleas were bad, as the ground tended to be warmer then the soil in his other home. But Sawyer hadn’t particularly understood that part of the other canine’s curses.
Eagerly, the brown male padded over by the brush, and shoved the branch down with the side of his paw. “It’s there.” It was there. A hole in the ground, right below the bush. There probably were ditches that looked more inviting.

Eris actually didn't know exactly what she would be doing or where she would be going after she was all rested up. In truth, she hadn't even planned to rest that night. It had only been running, running, running on her mind and not much else. She had only focused on getting as much distance between herself and Dunn so that he wouldn't have an easy time tracking her down.
Was this far enough? It had to be, at least for now. She knew very well that she couldn't run around all day, every day. Her aching lungs and sore legs wouldn't let her forget that.
As Sawyer began moving to show her the hole, Eris was quick to follow. She was really tired and wanted to begin sleeping as soon as possible so that she could move on to more important business. Yet as the hole was revealed to her, she stopped and simply blinked. Sure, he had said hole, but she hadn't thought it would be just that. A hole.
It didn't seem like it would provide her with enough cover or protection from anything, but she didn't want to hurt the male's feelings. He just seemed so happy that she had decided to stick around. She figured he hadn't talked to anyone in a while and was therefore glad for the company. Having such a bad time herself, she didn't want to make life worse for anyone else if she didn't have to at this point in time.
"It's, uhm... wonderful. Mind if I dig in it a little to make it more of a den?" Hopefully not. She'd probably dig anyways though.
