Yei gave a slight nod, almost one of agreement but in truth, she was more aware of Elizabeth's dislike towards the Imperial Stallion than the unicorn realised. She had grown used to it thouhg, it seemed that the stallion's arrogance caused more than a fair share of individuals to dislike him - she really did pity him for that sometimes.

"There are many places to travel, you should consider doing a little sight seeing at some point." Yei finally began to speak once more, "The most beautiful spots can be found when you do so, especially if you travel in the company of one you are fond of." She mused, swivelling her ears round lightly as she recalled the discoveries she had made with her many friends.

"Or in the company of one you love." Paramekia added in a low voice, although he refrained him opening his eyes and continued instead, to remain stoic. If anything, he had simply revealed that he was listening to every word they said.

Tilting her head to one side, Elizabeth thoughtfully considered what Yei was saying. Really, she had only seen this one little corner of the world; specifically the teepee of 'her' two-legger, a corner of the forest, and the river. There wasn't much to see around here, nor were that many others to talk to, come to think of it; aside of her own herdmates, Yei and Para were the first Soquili she'd seen.

Perhaps a journey of some sorts would be pleasant. "Maybe I will try some sight seeing at some point...though honestly, traveling around with someone that I'm fond of would be easier said than done!" And wasn't that the truth. She had five others that were bonded were her two-legger; the only other mare was a bit brash and had no sense of propriety at all. As for the stallions...one was a lech, one a scoundrel, and the other two she'd never actually seen for longer then a minute or so, so... "I think it would probably be simpler if I just tried exploring on my own."

At Para's sudden addition to the conversation, though, Elizabeth's smile dimmed and she gave him a scrutinizing look. What on earth did he mean by that cryptic statement, anyway? Judging by the looks of him at the moment, he could very well have been talking in his sleep; in fact, she was half-tempted to step on him or something just to make sure that he was awake. What was his game, anyway? Feh. Still, she could be charitable and give him ONE more try. "Speaking from firsthand experience are you, Paramekia? I'm sure that I myself don't quite see the connection, but that could very well just be me."

"Yes actually, I believe I am speaking from experience." Paramekia opened his eyes and cast them upon the unicorn briefly. As unusual as it was for him, they were not patronising, merely matter-of-fact and more inclined to point out that he could pull a female (and a good one at that) if he wanted to. In fact, he already had!

"Which would be why he is moving into the forest in the following months." Yei pulled a face and then giggled at the prospect of Paramekia setting up home with a less than imperial mare, one who preferred to hide in the forests as opposed to socialising and pointing out how beautiful or how high on the social ladder she was.

"But travelling on your own, I've done that quite a lot myself." Yei paused for a brief moment and shuffled her hooves uncomfortably, there was only so long you could wander about without company before you began to crave something more. "Eventually you will find someone to accompany you, even a best friend or another individual who knows the sights and their history...yes?"

"..." Elizabeth simply eyed Para, unsure if he was trying to be superior or not. It was truly hard to tell with some Soquilis, and she was certainly inclined to think that he was trying to be superior. His lack of expression only helped further that expression...smuglet that he was.

Well, he could try that all he wanted; it wouldn't work on her! "Unquestionably you must be very happy with that state of affairs." Idly, she wondered just how he'd manged to get a mare, unpleasant as he was. Poor girl must have bearly met him, been an arranged mating, or some other similar thing. The things that stallions stooped to...

Anyway, there were more pleasant things to think about and address, like Yei. Odd how well she seemed to get along with the unpleasant stallion, but whatever worked for her. Tilting her head to one side, Elizabeth pondered what Yei was saying; in a way, it made sense; but at this point in time she herself still saw it as the best method. "Well, perhaps in time I'll find someone to journey with, but I think at this point that just going it myself would be the best route. Besides, I can certainly defend myself from just about anything." As she spoke, her eyes flashed somewhat defiantly and she raised her head; she might be a lady, but damn she was tough!

"I assure you, I am." Opening his eyes at last, Paramekia fixed his lilac gaze upon the unicorn and offered a smile that didn't seem to be quite so genuine as most would have preferred. Rather, it was tight and calculated to the point that it was done moreso out of necessity than a willingness to be in any way polite to the mare in question.

"I have a mare who views me in the highest esteem and I view her in such a manner as well. She loves me for who I am and is one of, if not the most exotic and demure creatures that I have ever encountered." He cleared his throat, but the flash of warmth that crept into his eyes as he spoke of Ailurinnae was really quite peculiar and very difficult to miss, at least he couldn't hide his honesty on that score.

In the 'corner', cast aside by Paramekia's outburst, the fiery mare seemed relatively surprised by his response and for a time she was quiet. She could find no words to express how she felt at in the given circumstances, but never to be one caught on the back hoof she soon regathered her thoughts and swiftly changed the subject back to that of travel - it was one she was familiar with at least!

"I have no doubt you can defend yourself from predators but it is always nice to be guided, in fact I could do it!" Her eyes lit up at the prospect of showing the mare the sights of the Kawani, including the most recent and active - the graveyards...

Perhaps she was just predjudiced, but there was just something about Paramekia that Elizabeth simply did not like. Perhaps it was the superior expression on his face; perhaps it was the way that he always looked like he was sucking on a lemon. Or maybe it was just the rather condescending way he always gave the impression that by merely speaking to her he was conferring a great favor. But whatever it was...she just didn't like him. No one could say that she hadn't put forth an effort, but she just didn't like him.

Stil, just because that experiement had failed didn't mean that this was a total wash. After all, Yei was certainly an interesting mare, and very friendly! In fact, this was the first time that Elizabeth had ever managed to have so prolonged a conversation with another mare without having issues (honestly, no one had any manners around here!) And what Yei was saying was slightly intriguing.

"...Guide? I'm afraid that I don't follow...isn't a guide a book that tells you about various places?"

"Book?" It seemed Yei had become lost in translation at some point and pursing her lips she offered an almost weak smile to indicate that Elizabeth had lost her at this point, after all, her people didn't write in books and the most she knew of was their pecular obsession for drawing on walls (even if the pictures were pretty).

"I'm sorry but I don't know what a book is." She confessed before releasing a laugh and shaking her head, "But a guide is just an individual who knows the lands well and can show you the sights as well as explaining their significance." She explained, hoping that she had made herself much clearer than she had last time.
