"Oh! Don't be silly - he'll make a fantastic father, he's just terribly naive." Yei gave a soft whicker and offered a nuzzle to the mares neck in reassurance, "If anything it will stun him a little but if he loves you as much as I think he does then nothing is going to scare him away, I think he'd definately be prepared to try." She continued, the warm smile growing and making itself rather at home on her lips.
She was happy, she approved, what more could she want? Yei thought that for once, Tai had actually made a fantastic choice. Afterall, the mare was polite, considerate and patient. If anyone was going to be able to look after her naive baby brother it would be this beauty!
"If you like I can give him the 'baby talk' if you think it would be uncomfortable between the pair of you? I just think they startled expression will look amusing."

The palomino mare took the nuzzle in stride. She rather liked this mare. She was sweet, and she would love to be friends with her. She offered her own smile, that was just as at home as Yei's. A kind giggle escaped the mouth of hers, and she blushed and looked at the ground. She wondered how she had come into such fortune as to have such a wonderful mate, with such wonderful family. She never really had a family, other than Micah, and he was good, but he was always so moody. She was glad, and quite excited to maybe get a family of her own, even if she never had foals, maybe she could make a family with his. Maybe even calling Yei sister!
She smiled, and looked back at the red mare, her brown eyes soft but bright. "I dont know. I do rather think I should be the one to do it. I know he'd be a very good father, I adore him so.."

"Then you should do it!" Yei gave a delighted squeal as the prospect of young foals came on to the picture. She'd always wanted to be a mother herself but the chance to coo over sweet little nieces and nephews was something that she wouldn't pass up. In fact, there was a good chance she would spoil them rotten if they were around, they'd know every good berry patch in the Kawani lands!
"Have you..." She paused briefly to gaze up towards the mountainside, pursing her lips as she admired the beauty of her own home. There weren't many Soquili up there, but then again, even the ones down here didn't try particularly hard seal their bonds with one another so maybe...
"Have you ever considered having a small ceremony to announce your love for one another?"

Esperanza gave that some thought. She'd never heard of ceremonies being done for love. Births, yes. Deaths even. But love was a new one. She loved the idea. It gave her a bit of a bounce and she looked at the red mare.
"I hadn't known they do that. But.. I should think that I'd love to.." She paused, and blushed a bit at her forwardness. "That is, if Tai would like to."

"The Soquili of the Mountainside have a peculiar set of traditions, I believe it is due to the fact that they have so many soquili from other areas." Yei offered a fleeting smile, recalling how she had discovered that Paramekia and Cloud, had in fact originated from the other side of the mountains where she had never thought to explore - according to Paramekia, great wonders lay beyond the Kawani lands but Yei simply wasn't in the mood to find out.
"It is customary to invite your friends to the ceremony and ask a Soquili of great respect to bind your hearts as one. When it is done there are big celebrations and games!" She gave a giggle, failing to contain her excitement as she found the prospect of such a thing to be delightful.
"And you know Tai wouldn't say no to a good party..."

Esperanza smiled, and she knew the excitement on Yei's lovely face was reflected just as much as hers. She gave a little laugh, and thought about this. She would love to have their hearts bound as one. She would love to have others there to witness how much she loved Tai. "Oh yes. I would love it. I do believe Tai would too.." She gave her head a 'bowing' motion that looked like a nod. "Would you like to come? Id love to have you there, and Im sure Tai would simply adore it."

"Do you honestly think I would miss my little brother's ceremony!" Yei gave a squeal of excitement at the prospect of seeing her brother united with such a lovely mare. Not only that, but Yei suspected that the palimino would look simply splendid in a floral wreath crown as well and she could make those very well - actually, she didn't make them, it was more a case of 'borrowing' them from Achak but he didn't seem to mind.
"So where would you like it to be held?" She continued, canting her head to the side as the excitement bubbled up within her chest. Although winter was approaching it would be lovely to see a ceremony soon, the only problem was that Yei wasn't familiar with Esper's taste and it was Esper's big day.
...She would just send out all the invites and make sure everyone knew!

Esper's eyes were gleaming, as she thought of the lovely day. She loved flowers, she adored them, and she hoped that there were lots of flowers. She also hoped she could have a bunch of Soquili friends there. Would they show? It didnt matter much, as she had Yei and Tai there, the only ones who really mattered. Micah would come as well. She smiled, and looked to Yei.
"Oh Yei, you are such a sweet mare. I do love flowers! So beautiful. Can we hold it in the field by the river? The apple trees are blossoming, and they have the most lovely vines with little pink flower buds."

"We can hold it wherever you want Esper, it is your big day after all." She pointed out softly, flashing a smile at the prospect of the beautiful day. The chance to meet new Soquili as well as socialise with those she hadn't seen in so long delighted her, especially due to how much of a social butterfly she was!
"But perhaps we should let Tai know what we're up to, I'm sure he'd like to know that he's supposed to be around for the big day as well." She gave a chuckle and shook her head, the wide eyed stallion's expression clear in her mind, "And he may have some input into what he would like too!"

Esperanza nodded. She hadnt heard from Tai in a while, and she was somewhat nervous. She gave a nervous smile and then shook her head. "Oh yes. But have you seen him anywhere?"

Fate had it's own little way of laughing at the mortals that dwelled within it's rule, but in the case of the burnished gold stallion, Fate was in good humor.
After escaping the stifling teepee, he had wandered the nearby forests absently, trusting the winds to guide him in the right direction. For a good portion of the day he wandered, but right before he began to lose his patience, two familiar scents drifted towards him on the breeze.
Suddenly alert, he whinnined shrilly in delight and broke into a flat out run, galloping the last distance that seperated him from his love and his sister.

Esper's head turned, and she caught the scent of Tai before she saw him. Her heart beat fast, and jumped into the air, breaking out in her own run to meet him halfway. She gave a delighted whinny, and ran to him. To the loev of her life. "Tai!"

To put things simply, Yei was left in the dust as both mare and stallion galloped towards each other to reaquaint themselves. It had happened so suddenly that the poor, fiery mare was left in a somewhat dazed state, her eyes slightly glazed as she attempted to figure out exactly what had just occured.
It was only when the winds shifted that she at last realised that a certain someone had arrived and the scent of him filled her nostrils to the point that either he hadn't had a dust bath or...the fact that they had been talking about him had simply heightened her senses.
Allowing the two lovers to unite, the mare trailed after the palimino at a slightly slower pace and stood a distance away, waiting for the right time to greet her younger brother...

Though the dark stallion had been wandering all day, his enthusiasm was undiminished in light of the pair of faces that greeted him. Whinnying again he charged full tilt towards the two mares, circling Esper and kicking up his heels coltishly before racing towards Yei and doing the same. To Tai, such a thing as 'second best' did not come into play, his sister was as dear to him as his mate. That they occupied different areas of his heart meant little after such a prolonged absence.
"The lights of my life! Esper and Yei! Fancy seeing both of you together!" He nuzzled Yei first, in subconscious favor of doing more then a simple greeting nuzzle to Esperanza.

Esperanza was so happy to see him again. And the plans that she and Yei had made! Oh boy! Maybe it could really happen. Maybe they really could have a cerimony. She looked at Taia and Yei, and smiled. This was a close knit, loved Family. She whinnied and reared in the air.
"Yei, it looks as if he has decided to join as after all."
