"Huh? Oh, right," Azumi said stupidly as she looked from Osso, who was still seated on the counter, and up at the man still coming through her cieling.
Standing on a chair, she entended her arm, holding the amber stone out gingerly for him. "Luckily they don't seem to be jealous," she chuckled lightly, mainly to herself.
"Like Kanti..." pipped in Osso.
"Exactly."
"Remeber when we met that Shane person and she got all pissy-" he stopped for a second when the wolf laying on the ground gave a small 'woof'. "Sorry. When she got all mad because you were holding Pyren? Little butt."

"Thank you," Mordecai replied as he stuck the stone on the nearest safe surface in his laboratory. At the mention of the name 'Shane' however, Mordecai stopped and remembered the man on the motorcycle who had come from Earth and stayed with him for a few days. He was quite the character.
"Well, I should be going now," Mordecai said "It was nice meeting you all. I hope you'll come by the school one day if you find out anything new about the stones as I'm quite intrested in them for my research. The school isn't too hard to find if you look hard enough, it's to the south of Barton, in the deep forest by a lake. Ask around if you're not able to find it. Take care!"
And with that, Mordecai's head vanished into the ceiling and the liquid in the culdron suddenly evaporated.

Azumi hadn't even been able to say 'good-bye' before the man was gone. She hadn't even gotten his name. "Whatever..." she mumbled and hopped down from her perch. The stone was tucked into her jeans pocket before she offered a look around the room.
Everyone sort of just watched her. Blankly.
"...Well, get back to work! And Osso, get off the counter. I don't want your butt up there."
