Kind of like Swanmanes in Anita Blake books,
Jacob's and his fellow werewolves were turned because of a spell/curse to protect them from the cold ones.
Guess that means that they're like, special warriors. Cool. cool

Stephenie Meyer has a thing for making fictional characters her own! That's what's cool about her though! 3nodding

|x|o|[ how will they know just where to find? under this bridge i lie down.
I wondered that, too, at first, but it doesn't make... perfect, sense. It makes some sense, but not perfect. But Jake said way back, his tribe and wolves were "brothers"... What does that mean?..>.> I mean, ummmm... Was the first one of the tribe born a werewolf, which would make them related, because they're both wolves, or did something happen with a person, and uh... nevermind.
Woohoo~ I've just gone and confused myself even further.
see how they run catch butterfly trip over words with gifts and garage. Pheurton]|x|o|

choirperson Mitsuko-hime But we also know Jacob never tried to bite anyone. Or any other of the werewolfs, for that matter. So, if they never tried it, they is no way to be sure. They've bitten people- remeber how Sam savaged his girlfriend/fiance? He didn't bite her. The scars she has in her face and arm are nails, paws.
But I don't think someone can be turned into a werewolf through a bite.
Vampires can turn humans into vampires because they have venom, but the book never mentioned anything like that for werewolves.
I think it's sort of a curse thing. A natural enemy for the vampires, like every creature has its natural enemy. Just that the two races have different ways to spread.
If you understand where I'm trying to get at... confused
I mean, werewolves don't have venom in them, sheesh eek ....do they? >.>;
