sometimes after a new season of something..or..dramatic...event they change..but never realy for any other reason...but about the hair..one thing that i dont thinks been said yet....THE COLORS!!!!!!!!!!....i mean they look asom..but..they dont match the parents...someare in places or times where they couldent dye there hair....half the time no one even finds it odd in the anime...and aother thing...HOW COME ITS ONLY THE MAIN PEOPLE WHO HAVE COOL CLOTHS AND HAIR...and everyone in the background looks exactly alike..i men i know they gota stand out..but...come on......oh and be me writing this it in no ways means i dont love animr...ANIME IS ME LIFE!!!!!!!!!! xd xd

It's super amusing watching Naruto with my cousin and pointing out whenever someone (usually Naruto) gets hit and their hair never moves. Also, when someone pats or touches Naruto's hair, it goes down then springs back up.
(oh the fun of mocking the less brighter characters of Naruto)

Actually, its fun doing that with any anime.

It is true that a lot of times, the authors probably never make the hair change so they don't have to keep coming up with ideas with how the hair should look or the clothes or whatever. It is a lot easier that way, and when you're trying to crank out a manga or anime episode or whatever, the hairstyle is the last thing they want to worry about. 3nodding

In Yuyu Hakusho ... Yusuke changes his hair every now and then ... And Keiko lost some of her hair because of the fire ... And slowly as the story progresses her hair gets longer ...

And in DBZ ... Gohan's hair changes ... As a kid it was long ... When they go to namek it gets short ... it grows a little during the cell games ... and during the buu saga is hecka short ...

In Marmalade Boy Miki and Yuu change there clothes alot, Miki cutes her hair a few times and shows past scence where it is very short. She also has a habit to cut her hair when she is depressed. Ginta one of Miki's friends cuts his hair very short too but in time it grows back when they switch to the present days in the show.
