Rynn's ice shard doesn't even reach Lunaritina, simply breaking in midair a couple of feet in front of her. As the first ice wall begins to rise, she carefully follows her target with her aim; she braces herself as she counts silently to "three" after the target is first obscured from view, and then unleashes a single high-speed projectile at where she thinks he is now - revealing this new toy as a railgun. As she staggers backward from the force of the shot, stumbling back three to four feet, walls of ice wouldn't stand a chance and would most likely have large areas shattered, and Rynn's body would suffer as well from a direct hit.

Depending on where she aimed the shot(height-wise) would determine whether or not she hit or missed, and if it was a lethal or non-lethal shot. Since left unstated, this is how it happened. Rynn began his first direction change on three, expecting a shot soon, but not as soon as it did come in actuality. Thus, as he pushed off in the new direction, his left foot was clipped, removing it, the author assumes.

The trained fighter suppressed his own scream and hit the ground with a muffled THUD, only enough of a sound to barely reach Lunaritina. She could interpret that as the fighter hitting the ground, or she could interpret that as another hard footstep running in the opposite direction.

Rynn immediately placed his hand on the "nub" of his foot and froze it over, numbing it. As for whether he was visible or not, his wall was divided into sections and sure, the section Lunaritina had fired upon was obliterated, but Rynn's great momentum had placed him behind another section before he was ever in sight of Lunaritina.

It would be a pure guessing game to hit him now, and the immobile Rynn was going to have a field-day with it, raising as many walls as he could as quick as he could. He gave off illusions that he was still running by making a curving wall that seemed to be curving in towards Lunaritina, as if heading in for the strike.

He would as well be building a maze around Lunaritina and sending as many sections of walls as he could towards her. These wouldn't shatter mysteriously upon getting near her though. They would, instead, smash into her and begin plowing her to a ringout or into the stands. And if another wall was behind her, they would make a nice Lunaritina sammich.

Soon he would start making ceilings, the little architect.

((Ignore the inconsistent post colors, I keep switching between gray and blue only because I keep forgetting which to use. Lunaritina's the only one here and all posts are about her.))

Lunaritina didn't even hear the "THUD" over the roar and aftershocks of her shot, and as she regains her balance, a red-hot cartridge or shell of some sort is ejected from the gun and clatters to the floor, along with a venting of warm air. A glow briefly runs along the two rails. Meanwhile, Lunaritina's right forearm and hand change into a relatively bulky and long buster, with a certain sleek style to it, and she readies herself as the ice walls harmlessly impact her forcefield; depending on their strength, either the walls will shatter upon contact or they'll push her until she's stuck or "crushed" between two (upon which the force will have nowhere to go and the walls will have to shatter).

She constantly looks around, keeping an eye on all directions for her opponent. She's already noting shortcomings in the new armor, to hopefully be fixed come next upgrade.

Just about everything Lunaritina's author said was true.

((P.S- I hate your force field. xd ))

The walls would push Lunaritina until they collided with each other, producing a loud shattering noise that had an extremely small chance of hurting Lunaritina's ears. Hearing the multiple crushes and then some simultaneous crashes, as if two or more walls hit at the same time, Rynn figured something wasn't working. So he changed his plans.

First off, he made himself a little ice foot(more like a platform), so that he could stand up and walk to some degree to avoid being a sitting duck.

Second, he would stop making walls behind where he figured Lunaritina was and instead produce taller, thicker walls in the area inbetween the two fighters.

And third, he would stack four walls in the middle area and send that stack towards Lunaritina with all the force he could muster. This stack would hit right after a single wall would hit the force field and with this impact Lunaritina and her forcefield(if it didn't explode, deactivate or whatnot) would be sent flying back(though in actuality she was being pushed) towards the opposite edge of the ring, and if the force was great enough, there might be nothing she could do to prevent a ring-out.

Rynn began to tire from exertion, but kept up his constant barrage of ice walls, for the moment. He intended to last as long as he could, and he didn't feel that he was out of it yet either.

Seemingly passive about the whole deal, Lunaritina just remains unreactive; she's pushed by the ice walls, but thanks to the walls around the arena seperating it from the spectator stands, she's in no danger of a ring out. As before, the walls of ice continue to shatter upon being met with strong enough resistant force.

Lunaritina once again begins to take aim with the railgun-arm.

Rynn idly practices walking and getting used to doing it with a foot and platform. For now, the walls stopped, allowing Rynn a few moments of rest and downtime. (This action follows the next action in time sequence)

Still, Rynn had 6 wall around him in a semi-maze fashion, so that if one was shot or destroyed, he would still be obscured from vision. Since he was moving, Lunaritina must be aiming blind again. Also, Rynn melded the remaining ice walls(except two, to cover the swift molding so it would be unexpected) into a big spike- as in, penetrate the force field spike with the amount of force Rynn was going to put into it, plus the mass. This was roughly the size of Lunaritina's body at the base and extended into a fine point. It looked more like a battering ram. Also, it wasn't in a straight line between Rynn and Lunaritina- it was angled to come from Lunaritina's 11 o'clock. So, unless she aimed horribly or somehow figured out it was there, she was fairly well....screwed.

Before this point comes up, Rynn could aim the large spike based on the fact of where the walls shattered since Lunaritina was pinned against a wall-ish. There are also several other clues to aiming as well.

Since Rynn's stump was numbed, he could focus on movement without trying to overcome the pain, so he began to grow use to the make-up foot. Not sprinting used to, but swiftly walk or jog used to. (In time sequence, this happen to some degree at all times. He moves much slower though when he's performing his attack)

After the spike, that was it.
Rynn was spent.
His options then were either run, forfeit, or die.
Though, it would be highly unlikely Lunaritina would escape this one, what with the surprise and force with which it would come.

((Your post's kinda incoherent but I did the best I could to interpret it. I'm assuming you haven't yet revealed or fired the spike.))

Bracing against the wall, Lunaritina fires another railgun shot. With no precise target to aim at, she's firing blind; but that's fine, since ice shatters and she can just blast away walls till there's nowhere for Rynn to run. As her left arm is pushed out of its ready position by the recoil, she places her right arm and the unknown buster in front of her in ready position.

((Damn, must've gotten carried away again. Whoops, meant to fire it. Anyway, here ya go.))

The debris from the first shot and the remaining wall in front of Lunaritina both converged on the forcefield at the exact moment to blind her a little more. Then, Rynn actually fired the spike like he had meant to earlier, with everything he had.

This massive beast of a spike would penetrate the force field, and if one part of it touched Lunaritina, she would be in massive pain, either from being pierced or cleaved in two(due to size), or from the massive amount of blunt force which would smash her into the wall behind her.

It was now almost impossible to dodge or even block for that matter, what with the reckless firing and loud noises and crashes and obscured vision and whatnot. By the time she would notice it had entered her formerly safe proximity, it would be too late.

After that, Rynn walked a good deal away from the shot(s) that had begun destroying his remaining walls and sat down, trying to recuperate.

((Please PM me if I'm still not making sense... sweatdrop ))

A counterattack isn't exactly surprising to Lunaritina, and because of its position she only has to adjust her aim by a mere 30 degrees in order to shoot it down before it even has a chance to blunt its tip against the forcefield, a light infantry missile erupting from the strange buster and easily hitting the large spike. The double warheads utterly destroy the spike, reducing the frozen projectile to nothing more than chips and fine particles of ice.

Lunaritina, still leaning against the wall, suffers no ill effects from this shot, and as the right buster vents trapped exhaust from her shot, the railgun on her left buster automatically goes through the post-shot procedures, once again ejecting waste and reprepping the hardware for the next shot.

To make Rynn's author feel better, the ice spike penetrated the shield, destroying it, and almost hit Lunaritina before she shot it. wink

Rynn sighed as all of his ice fell to the ground and he saw Lunaritina(he destroyed all of his remaining walls, of course). He then put both hands in the air, as if surrendering, before gracefully pulling them down into a gentleman-ly bow.

'nough said.

Rynn then turned around and hobbled out of the arena to the infirmary- the ice on his stub was beginning to melt.
