In my absence i started watching Naruto in Japanese, cuz the english was sooooooooooooo bad it made my ears bleed!! But i love it, it's great.

There is absolutely no plot and it is SO boring.
seriously, i really tried to watch it too! I got up to around 130 before i just couldnt take it anymore. Ive heard that thats where the fillers start but if i thought the 130 episodes of the actual show was THAT boring, how am i possibly gonna watch another 100 episodes of filler?!
and so what? there are ninjas. Okay. There are SO many other animes about ninjas that DON'T suck.
and im sure thats why people like the show, "cuz it has ninjas." Dont kid yourselves. Throwing in a bunch of stupid ninjas doesnt make up for the lack of... EVERYTHING in this horrendous show.

Naruto's pretty good, but it's not my favourite anime ever or anything... stare I've never really watched the anime all that much, but from the bits I've seen, the manga is way better. I'm up to chapter 364 right about now...

i agree with you on the part about the fillers...
but in my opinion, i think the writers wanted to do 2 things by adding the fillers...
1. let the manga get a really far lead... cause the episodes themselves take up 10-14 pages of manga series
2. show the development of the characters... as you have seen... it has like a billion characters... [although most of the fillers are about naruto and how he becomes stronger and stuff]

but i love watching naruto... the jap version... >_> the voice of the english naruto pisses me off so bad!!! "count on it" or some stupid thing like that, as a translation for "taybayo"... i mean cmon!!!

also i totally agree with the guy that said that garaa's voice sounds like a robot... XD

I like the anime, but not as much as I used to. I had to stop watching the Americanized version and instead opted for the internet. I watch the episodes and read the manga on it. I guess I was so infatuated with it because it was the first anime I ever really got into...
