I actually kinda feel bad for people who are mistaken that playing songs shows off something... We should actually have a thread like, post a link to your actual music. That would be much cooler!
From my 6-7 years of playing though, just play music as it comes. Learn all your theory, and get yourself comfortable with transcribing, and anything is possable. Really, if you told me to list off all the songs I can play, I would say anything on the mainstream right now, and a majority of anything else... Just do it! wink
