He watched as she began to search, peering at her from what ltitle he could see from his low position on the ground. He giggled quietly to himself, heart pounding as she turned to walk past him.
Uzushi.
"..."
Uzushi!
He wriggled nervously, why did Kalpana have to be such a spoil sport at times? Then in a lowered voice he answer her, "what?"
Ants. There are ants here!
He snuffled and wrinkled his nose, becoming agitated with his imaginary friend for bothering him whilst he was trying to hide.
Did you hear me!? UZUSHI!! There are ANTS ON YOU!
Itchy, he felt itchy! Really, really itchy! Then suddenly Kalpana's words soaked in and his eyes widened.
"Ahh!" He lepat up suddenly, turning to look at the ants which were now crawling all over him. To put it lightly, Uzushi began to freak out, dancing about, yelping and trying his best to get them off.
"Ants, ants! Heeeelp!"

Bini yelped and turned around at once, eyes wide. "Where did you come from Uzu!" And then she realized he was upset, irritated.. maybe even afraid! She squinted at him, trying to see why he was moving around like that. Her ears perked. "Ants?!" She squeaked, sort of hopping sideways and looking at her paws.
"OH!" None had gotten on her, she just knew what would help! "Go jump in the water!"

Water? She had a good idea! With a small whimper Uzushi tottered off, moving as fast as he could in his terrified state.
Then as he reached the water he tripped on a stone at the edge of the bank and fell face first into the water. It filled his nose and ears and splashed up over his back. But he paid no heed as he scrambled forwards on his chest and rolled and rolled in the water until he was completely soaked through.
Then he lay on his back at the bottom of the waterhole with legs in the air and nose poking up from the surface so that he could breath. He needed to catch his breath.

Bini winced and it took a lot not to laugh at what he looked like right now. After he finally got in the water she moved forward. She sat herself in the very shallows of it, watching him with concern.

It only took him a moment or two to recover and when he did he raised his head up out of the water, snorted to free his nostrils from it's hold and blinked green orbs over at Bini.
"Ants are mean~" He explained, forcing himself up into a sitting position and listening to the drips that fell from his fur and into the water beneath him. "But all gone now!"
He put the smile back on his face and stood, swishing one paw outwards in an attempt to splash Bini.

At this bini did laugh, and then gasped as water splashed on her. With a playful growl she launched herself at him, and then began to laugh again. "Oh really!" She said, which was something along the lines of 'you didn't just do that!' in bini speak.
She liked playing in the water just as much as she liked hide and seak!

He gave a high-pitched squeal as she leapt for him, moving to roll backwards onto his back so that he could try and avoid being pinned. This action did cause a tremendous splash however and once again his fur was soaked through. He raised his head a little to try and n** at her nose, clipping the air playfully just beside her muzzle.

Bini was obviously delighted because she couldn't stop laughing, but some water began to get into her mouth and nostrils as she nipped back at him. She began to choke and cough it up, and quickly moved off of him to stand in a little more of the shallows. Her laughter didn't stop though, she was having such an amazing time playing games with Uzu! She didnt realize how much she missed the little guy.
Well, he wasn't very little anymore. But all in all, she liked spending time with him.

"Oh!" He got up again, taking a small step after her as she moved away, glad to see she still seemed happy.
"Don't choke Bini!" He squeaked, trotting over and shaking his fur so that the droplets would land on her. "If you choke then no one can save me from the big bad ants!" He laughed.
Uzushi was unaware of his growth, really he thought himself still a pup.

She giggled more as her choking subsided and then shook off as well, nipping one of his ears and tugging. "Yeah and if i dont save you from ants all of the time who's going to save me from choking!" She grinned at him and moved onto shore, a little away from the watering hole and flopped down. She was tired!

"Exactly!" Although from his tone one could percieve that he really hadn't understood. He didn't let that bother him though, and like a little lost sheep moved to recline on the ground beside Bini.
His tongue curled as his jaws gaped in a wide yawn and he shifted so that he could glance at Bini through half-lidded eyes.
"You're the best game-player I've ever met!" He announced, "I'm glad you decided to stay around. Means I won't get bored all the time!" He shifted sideways to nose affectionately at her neck.

She giggled and snuggled back, eyes shut fully. "And you're just as good a game player as me!" She announced, and then yawned slightly, snuggling closer. Yes this would be a wonderful nap after wonderful play, she was very lucky to run into Uzu again.

Okay, sleep time.
With a slow nod he let his eyes fall closed and shifted so he could lie alongside his companion.
"Tomorrow I can show you the rest of the packlands, if you want." He murmered softly, letting his eyes fall closed. He was suddenly exhausted, perhaps it was a contagious tiredness.
And in his mind Kalpana retreated sadly. She could feel his heart slipping away from her.
