Mrs.BonJovi Long_Away I've never thought about to be honest... I suppose because they are still in the charts these days you don't really think of the as classic rock... I dunno though... I've thought of that too but alot of bands from the "classic rock" are still making music. Ozzy just released a new album, along with Tom Petty & Eric clapton. Alot of the older artists. 3nodding That is true... Meh... I dunno... confused

They are classic in the sense they made a few timeless songs. But not 'classic rock' because they don't really fit the genre.

I think they are a blend of both arena/stadium rock and classic rock. To me they are the complete essence of stadium rock. They also have this timeless appeal to their music that lasts the decades and generations. I believe that they are classic rock, if not fully then just on the verge. They are within the same ranks as some of the greats of 'classic rock'. As they should be. And they aren't done yet.

Well, no. Definitely not classic rock. They make songs in a lot of genres like Hard Rock, Album Rock, Arena Rock... But none of their songs is a classic rock.

Not true. Wanted Dead or Alive has been called classic rock, along with Livin' On a Prayer.
So that's not true.

I check more than one place when I get my information. It is in the end all a matter of opinion. I don't agree with them.

I've learned that many bands can fit under more than one genre. I wish I knew that before I made this thread sweatdrop
