I looked up what the name Murdoc ment somewhere and it ment 'protecter of the sea' or 'sea man', whatever the Hell that means.
Well...I do do agree on the 'sea men' part...eh-hehe. If ya know what I mean. Oy.... Oh yeah well the typical spelling of Murdoc has a K after the C! *feels smart* mrgreen [/quote ]Does it? I always see it with an H.

The one with the H might be the Scottish spelling.
Like instead of putting Mcbeth, they write Macbeth.
Which is hard to get used to saying when reading at the same time....
I mean it does sound like McDonald's cousin or somefink...

LOL JAMIE HEWLETT Morgan said in an interview somewhere that his name inspired Murdoc's. Still, that's pretty out-there. Sweet. prob a play on Redrum backwords subtracting the -er.

On Redrum theory...sort of.
Once I was writing a fanfiction and I kept spelling Murder instead of Murdoc.

One of the vids sent for the Search For a Star thing was titled Murder Murdoc. ...I never got to watch it, though...
Marduk was actually the most powerful of all those gods. He came to power by killing the orriginal creator, Tiamut. She kinda looked like a dragon... Anyways, Marduk supposedly has 4 ears, 6 arms, 4 legs, 2 horns, 4 eyes... And the way it was written made it sound like all that was really cool, and made him super powerful, instead of just a freak. Oh, and he had a s**t load of halos, too.

When I first read his name, I was all like, "ZOMG, Murdoc's king of the gods of the first religion! No wonder they made a song called Murdoc is God!!" ...Actually, I'm still kinda like that! xd
