Zira walked quitly towards the apple grove her eyes shifting to Rahu from time to time.
"Rahu.....I know you dont like to open up.But if you ever feel ready to tell me the things that hurt you. The things that made you hide your heart. The things you yelled about as we fought the other night. Im ready to listen, and Im willing to tell you anything you want to know about me...even the things Ive never told anyone. That is if you even care about such things." She was still unsure of how to act and Rahu, but she had to get atleast that much out in the open.

Rahu stared at Zira for a moment. "im more of one to listen rather than open as you found out, though sometimes i wont listen but thats if im riled up. right now i donno if i could open up just yet as my emotions and things are still mixed up as i been through alot. and i would not mind learning more about you." even he did not know hwo to act but well he would just try to act like himself.

"I figured as much Rahu." Zira laughed alittle. "Im ... just not sure how to .....act around you now...that you know..no more refusing to beleave I didnt love you. .....What would you like to know?" Just in the distance she spotted something moving near the apple trees. She raised her brow curious to the familiar shape. As they got closer Zira suddenly stopped and gave a sigh. "Ooooh no, Rahu......lets go some where else" she said turning to go the other way.
"Mother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!." A dirty little lion shouted as it bounded towards Rahu and Zira. It laughed oddly and seemed to be flea riddin.
"Mother, Mother I found you. You know I did like you said and caught feildmice, but when I came back you and the entire herd was gone!!!" He then begain to hop around Zira.
Zira rolled her eyes when the lion had caught up with them. She growled at the lion when he mentioned the fieldmouse thing.
"Nuuuka!!She yelled before she gave a fake laugh. "How did you find me?"
Nuka laughed nervously his eyes crossing slightly as he lifted his paw as if to shield himself from a smack.
"Wasn't easy I can tell you that."

" just act yourself and you can tell me wha tour willing." Rahu noticed the movment also and was about to respond to her saying lets go somewhere else when the lion a flea ridden one at that poped out. giving a low growl he kept an eye on it and also listened to the converstaion she and the lion had. he was not one to like being near lions at all but kept his guard up and didi nothing to the lion as it seemed Zira knew it. " do you know this lion Zira?"

"Unfortunatly I do Rahu, he found me when I was a foal and decided I was his mother. There is no getting rid of the little scamp either."Zira bent down and growled at Nuka. "If your going to stick around shut up or Ill kick you soo hard your fleas will feel it.
Nuka laughed nervusly and nodded his head in agreement to the terms.
Zira was rather annoyed by this interuption although it gave her a topic.
"You know my past already, Im from a part of the savannah called the outlands. The savannah is going through heck right now. It seems death is shadowing every corner of it and many soquilli are leaving the savannah and comming here." Zira sighed abit inbetween kalonas and idiot mares the land of the savannah was truly being dragged down.

Rahu kept a careful eye on Nuka while listening to Zira. he did not say anything to Zira as he was just going to listen. also he did not know what to comment on about the savanna.

Zira looked at Rahu and sighed abit looking to the ground before she turned to Nuka.
"Nuka this is a really bad time to be bothering with you, you little flea bag."
Zira bent down and told Nuka directions to her den.
"Now go, Ill deal with you later."
Nuka gave one glance to Rahu." You know you do anything to her Ill scratch Ill Ill bite cha I might even kill YEEEAAAAH I kill ya if you mess with my momma!!!"
"NUKA GO NOW!!!!" Zira growled stomp her hoof inches away from him.
Nuka cakled like a little hyena before running off in the direction of Zira's den.
Zira sighed again before walking fowards even though everything was out in the open it didnt feel that way. She hung her head abit not saying anything to Rahu, she had given up on him speaking and had nothing left to tell him save stuff she was too embrassed to speak about. Her ears pinned back and thunder was heard near by. She lifted her head and felt rain drops on her face. Zira closed her eyes as it begain to pour down, she stood there and didnt seem to care about the storm to much.
"Thunder storms have always been my favorite weather. Father would always tell me to come in. Course in the savannah it wasnt unheard of to easily drown or be struck by lighting. Not like here its suprising somtimes to think of how different things are in this world." Zira shook her head she was rambling and confused by everything right now. Truthfully she was doubting the meaning of her feelings once more. She wanted to tell Rahu how much she wanted to stand by him and always be there for him, but how? She had a feeling the words would be lost either in her throat or just bouncing off of him.
"Will you ever trust me Rahu? Or will I die trying?" Zira's voice was abit dark sounding in this moment as rain covered them and the darkness of the clouds made her eyes glow. The rain confusing the matter of reather or not she was crying as the wind begain to blow.

Rahu snorted at Nuka with annoyance, as he already hated lions ingeneral. he listened and followed her even as it started to rain. looking up at the sky as it rained and got them both drenced. " you know i hate stroms but then i like the exsitment of them. to try and out run a strom is somethign i find most exciting." just as confused with his feelings as her, he eyed her as her voice wen dark. " trust is soemthing hard for me to ever give. you already have more trust from me than most others i know. you have shown trust in me by telling me about yourself, i guess isould return to favor , no?"

Zira's ears flicked, but pinned again as she stared into the distance where the water was making large splashs as the rain seemed to be getting heavier.
"That was impossible to do where I come from. The rain came in like nothing else. You would be playing in the dry lands think you might have heard thunder in the distance and in the next be surrounded by rain. I suppose though if you dont like storms we should get out of this one, it seems to be getting worse anyways." Zira started walking forwards towards one of the many caves she called home. She had sent Nuka to the one she used the most but this other one was deeper and more areas to explore if they so felt the need.
Zira really wanted him to talk about his life, but she was stubborn and didnt want it on such terms.
"I dont want you to speak till your ready,I dont want any favors. When I say trust it means abit more than just talking about your life. It means......letting me feel like the things I say dont just bounce off and hit the ground." Zira laughed alittle.
"Truth is I dont know what the hell Im talking about myself. Everyone seems to know, but me how things like this happen. How to give trust, How to gain trust, how to let someone know they mean so much to you. I feel like a foal, I dont know how to handle the simpliest of emotions. I feel like I missed out on something my whole life and its all my mother's fault. Ive gotten better at having feelings, but for the longest time she had manage to rid me of all feelings it was like I wasnt alive. I didnt have fun, I didnt love, I didnt laugh, I didnt cry, only hate that was all I felt. Comming here I have all thoses emotions alot them thanks to you and I have no way of finding the words to express how much it means to me."

Rahu flicked his ears back and followed. " yeah it is seeming to get worse." he nodded as she talked. " true enough but thats why i said what i said earlyer. i blame my own mother for for causing me to to be unble to show even the most easy affection or handle certain emotions. though it seems i been learning to show certain things but only towards two but now one as the other was someone i use to care about. so i truely know what you mean" tossing his wet mane that was now sticking to him and flicked his wet tail.

Zira was only looking ahead as the rain was heavy enough now that it was starting to mess with her vision. Just in the distance there were a few trees she walked past them to a rock wall she turned behind one where a cave was hiden. She shook off abit before walking in completly. It was obviosly one of the places she called home. Though strangly the floor had quite a few small bones that Zira was simply trampling on.
"Sometimes I wonder if you are really over the other you speak of. No matter though Ill stick by you even if you do go back. Lets go deeper this isnt the most relaxing part of the cave." She continued into the darkness her eyes glowing enough you could almost see your way if walking right beside her. She kept walking and kept quite as she did till another glow took over that of her eyes. Zira entered a opening in the cave which was filled with a type of rock like thing that glowed. She went abit futher before laying down beside the small underground stream.
"Your mother was rough too then?...Mine was just plain crazy." Zira said before crossing her front legs and laying her head on them.

Rahu followed her in , and ignored the few small bones around. " im fairly sure im over her as she found another who she is better off with. i cared for her then but to me , her and i are only friends. im glad to hear you will stick by me though." his own eyes glinteded a dark red in the cave as he followed her deeper. laying down beside her, after she laided dwn, he eyed the steam. " my mother was not rough , she was stupd and soft. my father though, he was far from soft."

Zira looked to Rahu as he eyed the stream.
"The water is very good very cold you should try some if your thristy."
Zira layed her head back down wishing her mind was as clear as the trickling spring. They sound of the storm had faded some as they had ventured deeper into the cave.
"I dont think at this point I could do anything else, but stay by you. I know it sounds odd and we've not know eachother for to long, but its the way I feel and its wonderful to have feelings again, ......even if some of them are rather painful." She looked to the glowing rocks on the wall of the cave something she normaly delighted in seemed so dim right now.
" My mother was stupid and soft, but rough on me. Course you know some of it but she pushed me to the edge sometimes. Making me train to fight from sunrise till I collapsed on the ground where she would leave me to fend for myself saying it was part of training. My Father was a good strong and noble stallion on the other hand, but his honor let him be fool as my mother betrayed him and he never saw it comming. What was your father like, brutal?Or just not soft?" Zira wondered if at this point she was digging to deep once more.

Rahu glanced at Zira. " true i have to agree with you there." he eyed the water again for a moment before glancing over to her. " my father was never soft in anyway. he was brutal and had high expectations of me." shrugging a bit, he a a soft sigh and he remember thing from his past.

Zira wondered what he was agreeing with or if he was agreeing with the whole of what she said.
"Atleast that is one thing I can understand. Being pushed by a brutal parent." Zira shivered slightly as the cold of the cave was catching up with her wet fur. She didnt feel well she had not felt well in a long time. Zira had been planing to leave for the savannah thinking it would just be hard to stay here where she had a chance of running into Rahu. She was glad she had run into Rahu though.Reliving these nightmares made her not mind these lands to much.And she might of missed out on this chance to be with him.
Zira was quite for awhile as she listened to the distance sound of the storm just outside and the clear cold water that was going through.
Zira leaned over and drank abit shaking her abit from how cold it was.
"....I feel like Im causing you pain." Zira said finally afterall that time.
