Claudine frowned when the child began crying, now wishing she'd returned Arianna's little kiss before the child had had a chance to wake up. The vampire pressed a soft kiss against Arianna's jawline and stepped away to stand beside her, looking over the stroller at the baby. "Oh really? Well I'm honored to be the first to call you a sneaky vixen." She smirked. "I'm not often surprised like I just was."
She paused for a moment, blinking. Her home? Weren't they going to her brother's home? Oh well. Claudine smiled, leaning in until their noses were touching. Somehow she managed to keep a sincere look of curiosity in her eyes as she spoke. "Can I stay longer than a moment?"

Arianna looked a bit startled at the kiss on the jawline and fought down a deepening blush and just smiled lightly at Claudine, "My lady, I do believe everyone this evening is having a first time experience of some sort."
Poor, sweet, innocent Arianna, but as with all young mostly sheltered women she knew nothing that was on Claudine's mind, and thus nose to nose she stared at Claudine a moment as she cocked her head just slightly to one side, "Why surely my brother won't mind company as well, he should be home by now as well," she replied matter-of-factly. Apparently some ounces of flirtation and forwardness are lost on this particular young woman.
"In fact I am sure you can stay as long as you like," Arianna offered mildy as she slipped away from Claudine for a moment to face the now wailing four-armed child. The young woman lifted the child into her arms and tried to shush the little one gently uttering soft words of comfort.
"Shh, little one the more you fuss the longer it'll take to get home," Whether it was the attention paid or the words said it was unsure for now Metis was starting to quiet. The child's small colorful wings shuddering a bit as her head leaned forward onto the woman's shoulder sniffling and managing to look quite sulky indeed.

"And I hope there will be many more." She murmured softly, getting ready to make the bold move of giving Arianna another kiss on the lips...
Arianna's words, however, crushed her. Crushed, squashed, cut up, broken and thrown away into the garbage. She...didn't understand...? Claudine's eyes widened and her jaw dropped once again. "You...and...but...I..." So much for being suave and aristocratic. The vampire stumbled back a step or two, taking a moment to compose herself again. Was this girl naive or just playing hard-to-get? Claudine sighed and forced another smile, putting one hand on her hip and raking her fingers on her other hand through her hair. Oh geeze.
"Alright..." Claudine squeaked out, looking around to make sure no one had seen her performance. "Let's go then before it gets too late or Metis gets even fussier." Arianna really would have to teach her this mother stuff.

Arianna just smiled at Claudine having seemingly not notice the mild heart crushing moment the vampire was having just then. She simply nodded and settled Metis back in the carriage which seemed to displease the child as she uttered a single plaintive wail before just going silent took comfort in form of gnawing on one of already quite gnawed upon straps. The baby figured out, already, that it beat the hell out of accidentally biting her own lip.
Once the child was strapped in the young woman took the stroller's handles and began walking again, "Let's get a move on then," Arianna said cheerfully, she seemed so much different now that she was apparently growing comfortable in Claudine's company. After a little bit of silence she spoke again, "I can't help but note you seem slightly disappointed, my lady," she glanced over at the other woman curiously, "Did you have something different planned or in mind?" Indeed she didn't understand.

Claudine stretched her arms up above her head for a moment before giving Arianna her attention. She needed to get over having her heart broken before she acknowledged the girl. "Me? Disappointed? ...Possibly." The woman averted her eyes to look at the sky instead of at the girl beside her. Surely she wouldn't press...but what if she did? Or what if Claudine did something stupid like tell her what she'd been planning and then ruin everything she was replanning by scaring Arianna away?
...Perfect! She could confess without Arianna knowing. "Oui, en fait, j'ai fait." Claudine purred, slinking over to whisper against the girl's ear again; she loved the response she got every time she did it. Besides, the way she was using French was meant to seduce her anyway. "Je pensais que nous serions seul longtemps assez pour moi vous ravir, vous débarrassez de cette virginité bête vous calme peut avoir. Je suis sûr cet aurait pu être tout à fait amusant mais puisque vous avez dit que votre frère rentrait tous mes projets ont été ruinés." Now she was really hoping Arianna didn't suddenly know French.

She chuckled lightly and just kept walking trying to just keep her mind on getting home and perhaps making some tea for herself and possible company. Arianna glanced over at Claudine and shrugged a shoulder, "My Lady I sincerely apologize if had unintentionally crushed your spirits. It wasn't my intention to do so."
Suddenly Claudine was very close again. Her cheeks flushed and she gulped as she listened to the woman utter things to her in a foreign tongue. Arianna bit down on her lower lip and waited for the speech was completed before she composed herself with a small gulp. There was silence again and she kept walking listening to the sound of footsteps and rolling wheels on pavement. It was as if the young woman was waiting for a moment or phrasing something to respond to it with but her lips soon parted and she said, "My dearest Lady Voisin, why do you utter your plans to my ear in a strange yet beautiful speech? Are they secret, are they shameful?" her voice held an almost chiding tone to it, "or perhaps they are the plans of the lecherous sort that young maidens, such as I, shouldn't really be hearing?"
Arianna was obviously pretending as if she had been scandalized by the way Claudine spoke to her, however, underneath the scolding there was a playful undertone. Obviously Arianna didn't think Claudine would have such thoughts about her.

Claudine merely shrugged. Arianna hadn't intentionally crushed her spirits; she had no idea what was going through the vampire's head. "It's alright, dear, it wasn't your fault."
She rose a brow at the girl's next words, twirling some of her own hair around her finger as she listened. Strange yet beautiful? She'd never heard anyone call her native tongue strange...that was interesting. If her heart could beat it would've skipped at being called 'My dearest' by such a lovely girl. Claudine chuckled softly when given the choices of what she was thinking. Secret? Shameful? Lewd? "Hm...ma petite colombe, it surprises me you think my first language to be...strange." She began, giving Arianna a quick glance in the corner of her eye. "As for my plans? It's...a little of everything." Claudine chuckled. She reached over and gently tucked a piece of hair behind Arianna's ear, regarding her with a raised brow of curiosity. "Have I insulted you? Disgusted? Frightened you off?" She actually frowned now. How much longer until they got to her brother's house?

Arianna smiled a bit, "I have never heard such a language before, and it is not of any kind that I have ever been around where I come from." She chuckled and shrugged a little but admitted to nothing further as she walked along, "A little bit of everything? I do not understand." Arianna looked over at Claudine gracing the vampire with a small smile before looking ahead again.
Metis was becoming fussy again. It was taking way too long to get home.
"I am not insulted, disgusted, nor anything else of the sort, I am merely teasing you." Arianna laughed a bit and then she began to hum a small melody more to sooth the child than anything else. She had a lovely voice ...

The vampire smirked softly and tapped Arianna's nose, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead while the girl's head was turned to her. "Perhaps I'll have the honor of showing you one day." She cooed with a soft smile, tucking some of Arianna's hair behind her ears. "Let's hurry now before Metis begins screaming and wakes everyone around. Wouldn't want your brother to worry either, would you?" Claudine refrained from saying 'we' because she honestly couldn't care less about what a man would feel.
"Teasing me?" Claudine gave a pretend gasp, putting her hand over her unbeating heart in the fashion of a damsel in distress, the back of her other hand against her forehead. "Oh, Arianna, my love! You wound me! That was hardly fair!" She had to try very hard not to smirk. "You need to make this up to me somehow." A thousand kisses! She shut right up as soon as she heard the humming, watching Arianna quietly with a look of adoration. Beauty, wit, and a lovely voice? This girl couldn't possibly be single. Nevertheless Claudine lagged behind a step, put her hands gently on Arianna's shoulders from behind and leaned in to press a soft kiss on Arianna's neck.
"You are not a woman of this time period, my good lady." She murmured, nuzzling her face into the girl's neck afterwards. Nowadays there were too many tramps! Arianna was a true lady. If it weren't for her beating heart and warm skin Claudine would swear this girl was a vampire as old as she!

Arianna blinked a bit as her nose was tapped and then she blushed at the kiss on the forehead, "Perhaps," she echoed softly the flush from her cheeks fading gradually away until her pale flesh was once again it's normal tone. She nodded to Claudine as they walked, as she certainly didn't want her brother to worry.
She laughed lightly at the show Claudine put in before her. It had interrupted her humming as her mirth bubbled to the surface for a moment or two before it again receding as she spoke, "Make it up to you how, my Lady?" she asked but didn't stop moving even as Claudine lagged at least not until the kiss was planted upon her neck. Arianna froze her eyes wide as a shiver moved itself up along her spine and she uttered a soft squeak and a bright scarlet blush invaded her face.
There was a long silence and then she visibly gulped before she spoke, "I do not think you would believe me if I told you about where I came, Lady Voisin." She was trying to focus on getting the blush to go away as she looked about and then she saw her home some feet away. As a way to change the subject, "There, the lights are lit, I believe brother is home." She uttered with a small almost nervous tremble to her voice.

For now Claudine would disregard Arianna's question about how to make up for teasing her. She'd explain later to the naive little girl. For now Claudine just tried to keep in step with Arianna so she could continue to hug her from behind the way she was without tripping over Arianna...which is exactly what she almost did when Arianna froze. Oh? Had she discovered a new response? Claudine chuckled. "Is that a good response or a bad response, dear?" She murmured in her ear, blinking after hearing Claudine's next words.
Claudine rolled her eyes and slipped in front of Arianna and walk up to the door, standing in the doorway facing the girl and supporting herself on the frame. She crossed her arms over her chest and rose a brow at Arianna, watching her quietly. "Try me." Her voice was a murmur yet it somehow still held an air of challenge. Did she honestly believe Claudine wouldn't believe her?

The woman bit her lower lip a moment before managing to shrug it off enough to answer with an unsure, "Good, I think," she had never had that happen to her before obviously. She continued walking a little behind Claudine stopping before approaching the door and getting Metis out of the stroller, "My brother will have to get the stroller in for me later," she murmured out loud to herself as she moved forward holding the baby girl upright in her arms instead of cradled.
Metis' top hands found thick bunch of her Aunt's hair and began to gently toy with it. The four-armed girl was obviously in awe of the deep black coloration of it. For now the child, though hungry, was in another world. Thankfully the child wasn't yanking at it.
Arianna stopped in front of Claudine holding the baby. Silence enveloped them for a moment or so as the young woman thought about how to answer. After all considering their surroundings her story couldn't be that strange could it? Yet there was also the fear that the woman before her was one of the few hunting for herself and her brother. Metis softly cooed breaking the silence, and it seemed at that point Arianna threw caution to the wind.
"I am not from this world," the young woman admitted, "I do not know how my brother and I got here, but one day we were running and praying for our safety and found ourselves here." She said simply staring at the woman across from her. It was the truth for Arianna wouldn't lie nor had she any real reason to.
"I believe the Gods intervened on our behalf."

Claudine gave the stroller a quick look to see if she could just take it inside herself, but the thing looked near impossible to fold up so she'd just let Arianna's brother do all the work. The woman almost missed the answer to her first question, smiling fondly and playfully tapping under Arianna's chin. "Really? Then I won't give up on you." She purred seductively, leaning in and rubbing her own nose against Arianna's in a little eskimo kiss.
Stepping away from the door Claudine allowed Arianna to pass her so she could get it open, watching and listening (Mostly watching) with quiet interest to Arianna as she gave a bit of a vague explanation. She'd been hoping for details. "Safety?" Claudine rose a brow. That was interesting...she was prey? Claudine had almost forgotten she was supposed to be her prey. "Well," She began, combing her fingers through Arianna's hair. "As long as I'm here you'll be safe, dove." Claudine winked, pressing a quick kiss to Arianna's neck on the side Metis wasn't occupying.
"Shall we?" Claudine held out an arm to gesture for Arianna to go ahead of her. One, it'd be rude for Claudine to enter someone else's home first! Two, if she was behind Arianna she could watch her walk. It wasn't just her personality that was alluring.

The young woman blinked a bit at the eskimo kiss still she smiled albeit looking a little confused by it. Obviously she had never seen that gesture before now, not really, not between adults anyhow. Did this woman see her as a child? Honestly Arianna could see how ... Claudine seemed to somehow act so knowledgeable, so refined. The younger woman couldn't really find a good word for it other than experienced. In honesty it awed her though she said nothing.
She walked over to the door as Claudine made way. A slender hand grasped the door knob and she pushed it open to show a nicely lit entry hall, "You mean to say you'd protect me from harm?" she asked as Claudine combed through her hair with fingertips, "what of those important to me, my niece and my brother? While one or both may frustrate me their loss would devastate me." It was almost a retort as well as a test it seemed. Another shiver worked up her spine at the kiss. She wasn't sure how to take these actions, but somehow they made her feel ... different yet confused.
As they entered, Blaed was entering the entry hall from a side door; he swung a dish towel over his shoulder raising an eyebrow. If he dressed just the right way and wore the right make up he would be a taller, larger built, red headed version of his sister. He stepped forward and took Metis from his sister as the child reached for her father-figure. As he held the child he looked from his sister to the strange woman, "Hello, dearest sister, whom is your friend?"
Arianna released the child with a small smile, "Hello, Metis' stroller is outside," she was obviously leaving it up to Blaed and Claudine to introduce themselves to each other.

Claudine's brow rose a bit when they stepped inside. It was so nice! She definitely approved. The vampire glanced at Arianna in the corner of her eye after hearing her question, a tiny smile forming in the corner of her mouth. "Metis and your brother as well, darling." She draped her arm across Arianna's shoulder, her smile growing. "A frown and a look of mourning wouldn't suit your lovely face."
She looked up from Arianna when she saw Metis reaching out and heard footsteps coming from ahead of them. Claudine's first thought really was to put him in a dress (With a corset to make his figure narrower) and a black wig and parade him around as Arianna's taller double; only Arianna was close enough to probably notice the vague look of surprise at how well-mannered this man was. Dropping her arm away from Arianna she offered her to the red-headed man. If Arianna had caught any hint of her distaste towards men she had better consider it an honor that Claudine is even considering making physical contact (Or any contact at all) with a man without the intent of killing him. "Claudine Voisin, it's a pleasure to make you acquaintance." Not really...but Claudine would pretend.
