I can say that I LOVED Freshman year.
Sophomore year was alright.

School was okay but things have become more emotional for me as of cheerleading..
I feel overwealmed by a string of hurt (random metaphor). My best friend tried cheering me up, "Well, whatever happens all your friends will be there for you."
But I can't help it..
I feel personally attacked today verbally by these 2 girls, one who we'll call erica (also in my geo class, ex-friend) and the another claire, also the two girls who base me when I fly. My good friend on the team described erica as quote, "You know those people in TV who -insert comment here-? I didn't know people like that existed. Erica's like that."
I know I'm doing it right but whenever something goes wrong, they go off putting all the blame on me. Claire'll start bossing me around, for example. At the end of a stunt, the other claire does a split in front of me. I kneel and do a high V behind her. Erica kneels behind me and does a high V also. Claire'll start telling me that I was one inch off and not lined up and start explaining everything to me like I was mental. "I know!" I replied. And once, erica didn't kneel. The other claire asked her why she didn't do it and erica blamed me that I didn't give her space or whatever when WHEN THERE WAS CLEARLY A HUGE SPACE LEFT FOR ME.
Erica can be so defensive that if nobody says its her fault, she'll start defending herself and blaming it on somebody else, especially me. Then, they'd start arguing with each other about the stunt and everybody else would tell them to stop. I can't believe there's people who can be so nice when you first meet them and turn out to be like that.
I like to cheer and I like to fly but I don't think erica and claire wants me to fly or be on the team in general because they hate me. They'll keep thinking of ways to break me down.
I could care less if they hate me or not, because apparently I don't like them either.
I hate that they're making me feel so miserable and pissed off.
Also, I might be moving for the 4th time in my life to a town an hour away from here and going to a different high school. At this point, I don't want to be away from my friends and the friendships that took the last 3 years to build but I want to get rid of all this sh*t. Still, I don't want erica and claire to feel like they've won because I'll never let them.

hey claire... you talk with your cheer leading coach? perhaps you need different bases?
in any case the two girls obviously don't have team spirit if they are squabbling over who's fault what was... and then placing the blame on anyone but themselves... they don't need to be on a team that should revolve around team spirit and trust.
I might suggest you talk with your coach and see if you can't convince her it may help the team as a whole if you switched bases? or at least weren't always with the same bases... who knows... if they don't like you enough they may just accidentally "drop" you... and thats not safe at all...
*hugs* I hope it gets worked out in any case...

The only reason others put blame on others and complain anyone other than themselves is because they are the ones doing poorly. They don't have self-confidence like you do, so they have to go and find fault in everyone else to make themselves feel better. Complaining only makes them worse. Don't let them get to you, Claire. Stay strong. We're here to back you up emotionally. :] <3
And Autumn's totally right. They're only imitating team spirit. And that you should totally talk to your coach about it.
I mean, you love cheerleading. Don't let them spoil it. <3
By the way, I've always wanted to try cheerleading. xD
It looks so fun! Ijustwantthepompoms. xDDD <3
But there are no cheerleaders in any of the schools I've been to... ;-;

Most likely they're jealous of something you have or something they want.

Trust me I'm learning about that lately D:< -huggless-
I'm going into senior year at high school. Don't want to graduate. It feels funny knowing kids that are going into university soon and they're only a year older than me. And I feel old. And I don't wanna grow up D:
Around here, classes have three levels. They go at the end of the grade level, so 121 means AP >3
1 = AP
2 = Normal (or if no AP classes offered)
3 = Modified/Easy
So I'm taking English 121, Chemistry 121, Physics 122, Science 122 (but this one's still AP, prereq = Chem 122 & Phys 122 so basically university prep course), Math(1) 121, Math(2) 122, Differential & Integral Calculus 122, Digital Tech 122, Media Studies 122, && Biology 121.
Gonna be a tough year since I'm planning on changing the Math(2) to AP also, and I want to get rid of Media Studies. They gave me that in place of Theatre Arts D:
++ Scholarships and junk, It's going to be exciting and crappy all rolled into one xD

Actually, I'm moving to another town in a new months. ;_; 4th major move of my life. >>;;
This will be my last week of cheerleading, I'm cheering for the homecoming game this weekend and that's it.
You guys, Erica got told off by our coach yesterday. She blamed something on me that didn't make sense when it was really her fault. When the coach corrected her, she talked back denying everything.
The coach had a disgusted look on her face and said, "Okay, you need to change your attitude." That was my proudest moment. xd
And I have the bestest senior cheerleader friends everr. <3
I heard that when they were deciding on who would be captain and co-captain of our squad yesterday that they discussed Erica really wanted to be Captain but one of my senior cheerleader friends said she was really rude and giving me a hard time. So she's not getting either.
One of the other older/senior cheerleaders turned around while I was walking to practice with them and talking about Erica and said, "Oh! You don't like Erica either?"
I was like, "What?" xP I told them that we were really good friends before she screwed me over. They said she's not getting Captain because she's really bitchy and that they don't like her because she always wants to stand in the front with the varsity team. It's like, no you can't.
They got my back. ^^<3
It was funny because when we were practicing jumps, Erica landed weird and hurt her ankle, or so it seems. She sat down for the rest of the time. She had ice on it and everything and when she was asked to base, she said she can't even though basing requires no foot movement.
She just sat there while the whole team practiced. I heard one of the head cheerleaders of the older/senior team imatating Erica to her face, "Ohh my eyebrow hurts. I can't cheer." or something like that. rofl
Our coach announced to everyone that Winona got Captain. She's nice, fair, loud and most of us were really happy when she got the spot. Then, she announced that they were going to have (the other) Claire as co-captain but for this period of time, she's going to have to sort of prove that she's right as co captain. She talked to us that Claire and Erica were giving one particular person (HELLO! =]) a hard time. Then we announced that I was moving. "You're moving?" the other class asked. When she said that, I felt like crying but I didn't. xD Didn't see Erica show any emotion (probably insanely happy inside) but I got hugs and "You can't move." from my friends. Our coach said she's sad that I'm moving because she really likes me. Ahah.
ooooooooohhh tomorrow we have to wear our uniforms to school. We're doing a introduction/cheer in front of the whole school. I'm so excited but nervous.
