Rin made her way to Saya Hill for the fireworks show that evening. The festival had been pretty long and the games were alot of fun, but it was good now that things were finally settling down. Rin noticed a lot of people were sitting with their companions. Since she was alone, she decided to sit in the grass next to a younger looking girl on a picnic blanket who was by herself too, it seemed.
Rin sighed heavily as she collapsed on the ground. She leaned back on her hands and stared up at the sky with her eyes closed. Her long pink hair rested on the ground, covering the grass like the Sakura blossoms had. She sat back up again, hugging her knees and waited for the fireworks to start.

Nanasa had wandered the festival for several hours, having a snack every now and then as she rested under a tree or at a bench. The day had been thoroughly enjoyable, and now that night had started to fall, it was time for the fireworks. Making her way to the scene, she made sure to stand well away from the areas civilians weren't allowed to enter. Finding a comfy spot under a large tree with a good view, she sat down, crossing her legs underneath her. Just in time, for the first few incandescent explosions had already started painting the sky with a spectrum of colors. She gasped in amazement; it was all so beautiful! She had a snack that she hadn't finished before, but forgot all about it as the show in the sky continued it's glorious and exuberant presentation. Like some of the others, she cheered when an especially large or bright firework went off, oohing and ahhing as the colored streaks rained down from the heavens. She was tired from her full day of festival-going, but the fireworks were too exciting by far to sleep through; she'd hate herself if she were to do that. So it was she sat there watching as much of the show as she could, no mind to the classes she'd undoubtedly be late for tomorrow.

Rivera looked up, her eyes full of bedazzlement. She had never seen real fireworks before... well sure, there were those things on the computers and videotapes and all that other stuff, but this was the real thing. The noise thumped at her, raising her chaotic level with every explosion and letting it fall back down at every silence. It made her breathing quite irregular, but she managed somehow to enjoy the view. Hooking her arm around Kira's, she leant gently against him, letting her body curves mold around him. Well, it's not like she's really got any curves... but her weight was light. It was barely anything when she really allowed it to settle on him. "This is beautiful..."

Kira watched the fireworks quietly. He could hear the loud thumping and banging, the irregularity of Rivera's breathing, the whistling as the fireworks went into the air. He felt Rivera's arm hook around his, then her body press against him. He kissed her forehead. "Of course it is... But not as beautiful as you..." He said quietly, moving one of his hands to her's to hold it gently as they watched. The smell of smoke was almost overwhelming but the sight of the fireworks and the feeling of Rivera with him drowned out that unpleasant factor. He sighed quietly and looked at her with a smile. There was something mystifying about Rivera. Maybe the fireworks made everything seem lovelier but he didn't care. He kept his gaze on her as the fireworks flew up and popped, banged, and made series of loud noises.

Rayne watches the fireworks a bit longer, but begins to notice the increasing number of people gathering on the hill after a while, most of them in pairs. Rayne didn't like people, at all, even on holidays, even for fireworks, most of all people that were so happy. After a moment, Rayne grabs her backpack, glances around, then walks off down the hill once more, heading back to the school finally. She'd be able to see fireworks from the dorms probably.

A series of dragons whizzed across the sky. Rivera's mouth dropped open slightly in awe. How did they do such things with... with EXPLOSIVES? It was all such a wonderous mystery to her, that she barely felt the kiss and completely lost track of whatever Kira was talking about. She hugged her companion, watching the silvery sparkles light up the sky... or perhaps the silvery lights sparkle up the sky. Who knows? On a night like this, there isn't much to give care to. It was too breathtaking. Her first firework display, after all!
Twining her fingers with Kira's, Rivera held his hand against her heart. She wouldn't spend this night with anyone else but him. This was their night together, just the two of them. No assassins, no hitmen, nothing. Peace.

Kira felt his hand moved up near Rivera's heart, where he could feel its beat through her robes. He soon leaned down completely, placing his lips to her's firmly. He released the kiss after a few moments and sighed. "I love you Rivera..." He said quietly as he held her close. He had never felt a night like this. His heart as beating slow and heavily as he continued to hold her close. I'm so lucky... To have a girl like this... He thought happily. He saw a few flaming angels soar overhead and was impressed. Pyrotechnics always get better after every event they're used in... He thought.
((s**t! My old man is imposing the stupid time limit again so we have to be quick!))

Melanie grinned when she entered the fireworks area, her boyfriend following. A small tune was being hummed by the blonde and she bounced as she stepped. Her sapphire eyes were closed until she halted and opened them. "H'omigosh! FIREWORKS!" Her voice went up an octave as she spoke. "I love fireworks." The girl hugged Jake tight and grinned before dragging him down and staring at the sky. It truly was nice. But thinking back to earlier...
Why HAD she been with such a horrid person? The thought sent shivers up her spine, and she disliked it. The fear of being watched is quite terrible. That was probably why, just to get him to stop watching. Watching with those empty eyes... Mel shook her head. That was the past! No need to worry now. Right?
((Stupid Shuggles. Doubt she'll post. >.<))

Rivera gladly welcomed his embrace. She was a little nervous, having a robe without sleeves nor straps gave her the creeps when she was in close contact. If it had been anyone else but Kira, she would've freaked out and killed him. The warmth of the kiss lingered over her lips... it was so sweet... All of a sudden, she felt her desire rush through her in a powerful torrent. She realized truely how much this person meant to her, how much she would give up for him... He was the center of her universe. Her entire body quivered, weak with... she didn't know what it was. Was this what it felt like to truly love someone? There was a time when she hated everyone... Kai had told her... He had made the marks and Kira had cracked through her stone cold mentality. He freed her purity from imprisonment.
"Do you want to know... why my former name was Isekri?"

((wait armohny...is the girl rin sat next to is risa? well..i guess i just pretend..i won't talk to her though just in case.))
As Risa entered the area she looked to come befor ethe others..like normal. As she sat down another girl came to sit next to her but she didn't pay much mind. As she saw the firework go off she looked in awe. They were so beautiful! How on earth did people in her village think of this as a sign of war? OF course the sound was loud but it was so pretty. "wow this is an amazing end for this event," seh giggled.

"Yes... I do want to know..." Kira said quietly. He felt her body quivering slightly and soon swept her up into his arms and sat down, placing her beside himself. "Is this the special thing?" He asked curiously, remembering she had said there was something special she wanted to show him. His body felt numb and weak as well. He had no idea what it was, but it was a welcomed and pleasurable weakness he accepted completely. He had soon laid back on the ground looking up into the sky and the magnificient fireworks display while he awaited her answer.

Rivera knelt and let a soft smile creep over her face. She suddenly threw her head back, her long hair turning pure silver. Two golden eyes shone brightly on her porcelaine-white face. She raised her arms towards the sky, her fingers fanned out like the rays of the sun. They stretched out towards her sides, horizontally to either side. The angel sark floated around her of its own accord for several moments, levitated by the invisible power she gathered about her back and shoulders. The gossamer sark floated off as the energy grew too strong to keep it in place.
Rivera's entired body glowed silver, bursting into feathers as her form grew smaller and smaller, shrinking until it was no larger than two feet tall. The strange form shot into the air with a 6 feet wingspan, scattering silver stars into the fireworks in its wake. The gyrfalcon circled once around the sky, glowing like a shooting star, before it wheeled and landed gracefully at Kira's side. There was no doubt when looking into the eyes of this silver-white bird... she was Rivera.

Ryuu looked up and saw somebody who looked very similar to Rosa. He stood up again and wondered if it might be Risa. He smiled and sighed as he asked, "Excuse me?" as he tapped her on her shoulder. "Would you be Risa? I sort of know Rosa. Are you looking for her?" He wondered what he should say after what he gets for an answer. If he remembered correctly, Rosa left for an organization.

Kira looked at her in awe. An amazing, beautiful, falcon which had stars trailing in its wake. When he saw her land he slowly reached out to stroke her feathers gently. It was amazing to see all she was capable of. "You are so full of surprises... Rivencaira..." He said quietly, saying her full first name. He soon moved his hand to her neck, stroking those feathers even more gently. "Would you mind changing back though? It would be difficult to cuddle and kiss a bird..." He said jokingly.
((Dammit!! I have to leave! My old man is so friggin unfair! I don't get to see the festival come to a close... crying ))

The falcon shrugged. It was a universal 'yes' in falcon language, as well as crows, ravens and birds of prey. Glowing silver again, Rivera appeared, kneeling in the grass next to him with a smug smile on her face. "I've been trying to remember how to transfigure eversince I realized that I used to be able to do it... It's taken me too long. Kai said it only took me about a week when I was in Mage School... It took me a month to remember." She reached out to take her sark and wrap it about her again. Tiny silver sparkles still glinted in her hair from the leftover magic. "Yes... I suppose you're right... it WOULD be hard to kiss a bird."
She kissed him passionately without any further words, practically knocking him over. The cool grass pricked her skin as the night winds blew away her worries. This had been the best day of her life that she remembered.
