A fox-like creature with very angelic and human like features all mixed into one looked about the place deemed "the living room" quite curiously. Though more like a fox with her nine fluffy tails and her lupine-pointed ears, she seemed to have more of the curiousity of a feline.
This particular room almost always seemed to be alive, though she was certain in the evenings if might have calmed down a bit due to the burning need to sleep. Different assorted creatures were always padding, trotting, bounding, or otherwise entering the room. Occasionally they would lay down, while other times it seemed that it was a meeting place. On occasion some would exit to go find other rooms to play in.
In all honesty, the Deejarne wasn't exactly in the line of sight for all to see. In fact, she was observing from afar with her rather strong eyesight. She was hoovering above the others, remaining seated in that gravity defying manner and not even flapping her wings. The deep teal color to the ends of her tails seemed to dance about as the tails themselves twitched about.
"...curious..." she uttered in a whispered tone. After a bit more observation, Alaynia finally spotted something she deemed "worthy" of explaining how things went about. Passing a finger through the feathers clipped to her left ear, she tilted her head as she merely made the observations:
The creature was of feline origin. She could sense that it was female based upon some of the accessories it wore. It was a pale creature with heavily shaded eyes, almost as if she was wearing eye make-up, and dusty blue points (upon her chest, ears, feet, and tail). Her eyes themselves seemed to be made of a pale blue glass. She had slouchy legwarmers which were pale grey and white, for they were striped. There were two things which seemed to make this creature desirable to speak to was the fact she had some rather unique features. Upon her back were two sets of wings which were dusty blue, but seemed to have markings like little sapphires embedded into them. Also, upon the creature's face and tail were actual jewels of silver.
She made her decent and specifically floated herself next to the pale feline. In a whispered tone, she asked "...might I learn what name you have been deemed with?"
The Feli glanced up as this rather large and human-like creature approached her. Taking in the question with much consideration, she then silently pointed to one of her legwarmers as she stretched it out a bit. Stitched into the side was her name: Requiem.
Leaning in to read the rather fine stitching, she repeated "...Requiem..." to which the creature before her nodded its head gently up and down. Looking into the creature's nearly fragile looking eyes with her own bold ones, she smiled and complimented "...that name definitely does you justice... for both you and your name are quite beautiful."
A small smile spread upon her maw and a pale pink seemed to brighten the pale fur upon Requiem's cheeks. She glanced downwards as to avoid the eye contact, seeing as it would only make her cheeks grow far warmer if this creature were to continue in this fashion.
In an attempt to change the topic so the beautiful creature wouldn't grow more embarassed, she bluntly asked "...so what is this place? I know it is entitled 'the living room'... but what makes it so special that the others seem to flock here like sheep."
Her eyes grew slightly sad as she glanced up to the nameless fox creature and shook her head from side to side. She remained silent.
"...does that mean you do not know either... or does that mean that you do not wish to tell me...?"
Again, the creature's head shook from side to side, eyes remaining equally as sad. Again, no sound even so much as escaped the Feli.
Seeing as she was similar to a human in size, it didn't take long for the Deejarne to lean down and scoop the winged feline from the ground. Her own fur, which Alaynia usually deemed as being pale, seemed quite colorful in contrast to the pale fur which covered Requiem. She sighed as she then asked in a still gentle whisper "...if it is neither of those, then why must you remain silent with me...?" Her fingers gently began to stroke the feline behind the ears, knowing that it was a spot which she herself liked to be petted on very rare occasion. In fact, her feather-clipped ear almost seemed to be jealous as it flicked lightly.
At first, the Feli burrowed into the nameless creature's arms, trying to hide the sadness which seemed to be brimming up in her eyes. Yet as she was stroked in such a pleasurable fashion, she couldn't help but purr. However, her purrs were nothing more than a hollow rumble within her chest. It wasn't a sound, but instead it was feeling.
The dream was quite the observant one, for she could feel the sensation which was commonly known as purring, but no sound escaped.
"...how peculiar..." she bluntly uttered in a whispered tone. Pausing from her strokes, she placed a hand beneath the feline's chin and guided it up so she could look the creature in the face as she asked: "...do you not have a voice...?"
Requiem seemed to droop to this question, knowing it was the truth, but finding no delight in actually giving the response.
"...how tragic is that... a creature so beautiful to have lost something so dire in this world..." she uttered in thought, lowering Requiem's head back to where it was prior to her questioning. Allowing her fingers to stroke gently, she then finally introduced herself "... the name deemed to me is Alaynia..." With a pause, she then added "...I shall keep you within my company today so I might learn more about you, Requiem."
Without another word, the Deejarne floated out of the living room, up the stairs, and into an open room. She shut the door behind her, and that was that.

Now within the stead of Alaynia for the current time, Requiem glanced up at her with glassy and curious eyes. It almost seemed as if she was asking with her fragile eyes what the Deejarne was planning on doing with her.
Looking into the Feli's eyes, she smiled a bit and explained "...I just want to learn more about you... I have met hardly any within this home of Lizzy's to which I believe I can fully relate to." Spreading her arms open and lowering her floating body so that it was close, but not touching the ground, she allow the feline to escape her arms.
Fluttering her own two sets of wings, loosening the feathers ever so slightly, Requiem nodded in agreement. Lowering her haunches down in a graceful manner, she fully expected that she would be showered with a bunch of yes or no questions.
Rising her body back into her nearly invisible throne, she began to hoover back and forth in a manner of pacing. Each turn she took caused her hair to swish past her, and the feathers at her ear to lightly dance. "...let's see here... first... I know your name is Requiem... Hmmmm... are there any other of your kind here in the household?" Pausing to glance on over, she waited for a signal.
Already starting off with a mildly difficult question, she nodded her head in a slow fashion. In the creature's head, the question: ...does she mean of the seraphim or of the Feli in general? echoed.
A small smile lit up Alaynia's face as she did misinterpret the answer. "...tis strange though, I have not seen any others with multiple sets of wings... no matter... how many others are there?"
Sighing voicelessly, her ears fell back a bit as she realized the error. Shaking her head from side to side, hoping that perhaps this creature would understand that she misunderstood the answer which was provided, she tapped her paw two times on the ground to count for two others.
Being rather selective in what she saw, she noted the two paw taps and ignored the head shaking. "Oh good! Two others! That sounds splendid! Hmmm... let me see here... do you happen to have a significant other? One as beautiful as yourself must have someone who cares for you like a goddess..."
Upon even hearing the utterance of a significant other, Requiem's pale cheeks livened up with a pale blush. She had a few close friends, some she had even shared her abilities with, but none that she would consider to be a mate. Of course that only stirred up questions in regards to if she had anyone she cared for in that fashion.
There was Azriel, the blind seraphim boy who she took under her wing as if he was a child of her own, but that ended up being rather awkward in the end, for he seemed to have different views of how their relationship should be. Ptol, the Eqyptian Ancient seraphim had told her that a mother's love was the greatest kind she could supply, yet it was rejected by the one she had cared for greatly. In all honesty, she only had three really close friends, one being the seraphim who taught her about her own abilities, and the other two being mentioned prior.
Eventually, after the shock of the question had passed, she shook her head from side to side to signal that she had no mate.
Smirking a bit at the reaction, the dream figured she would tease a bit as she commented "...oh... I see! You just like to love them and leave them, eh? After all, perhaps you are too beautiful a creature to be tied down by a relationship..."
Had she the ability, she would have mewed in a rather low and unapproving tone. Instead, she merely showed her emotion by flattening her ears a bit.
Winking a bit, Alaynia admitted "I was kidding... don't get angry with me for poking a bit of fun... you just looked so cute though... I had to do it!" Her ear flicked lightly as she debated a few more questions, and soon found herself a bit stuck on what to ask next.
"...Hmmm... I wonder if you have any magical abilities... I have noted that many creatures within this realm have abilities that seem to be magical..."
Her eyes widened a bit at the question, but then soon a smile appeared upon Requiem's maw as she slowly lowered the deeply shaded lids to her eyes. Concentrating a bit, she attempted to communicate not with words, but with her heart.
...I am not certain how well this will work, for you speak of the human language, and our kind is not gifted with the ability to speak the language humans do, though we can fully understand them... but I hope since this is directly to your heart and not to your ears, that perhaps you can understand me...
Both of her ears flicked as she turned about to see who was talking, but found nobody new. Instead, she found Requiem, eyes shut and seeming to bow her head lightly. "...that's strange... I thought I heard someone speaking... something about the human language and the heart... strange..."
The feli smiled a bit more as she continued with her seemingly mental words: ...you didn't hear them... but you felt them... the one before you is the one who is speaking to you, in a sense. Let me reintroduce myself though... my name is Requiem, and I happen to be a seraphim Feli. My siblings consist of ManxManx, my elder sister, who was an aquatic Feli, but then recently grew into an Elder, and KinPaku, my half brother, whom is a Fairy Feli. I have no mate, but I do have three to which I care for dearly, to who I share my ability with. My ability is to speak to other's hearts if I so desire, or to listen to them as well, though I avoid doing that when I can...
Alaynia's rather bold ocean blue eyes widened at this onslaught of explanation. She remained silent, finding that words were rather short upon her at the moment. In fact, she was so distraught, she actually ceased to float, gently lowering her body until it was seated upon the ground, her nine tails surrounding her body like a strange fur coat.
She remained silent and wide-eyed, save for the occasional blink.

"...so....so you can speak to me?" Alaynia finally managed to utter mid-shock. For being a rather elegant creature usually, she seemed to be a bit strained as she was seated upon the ground and staring with wide eyes.
It is far from speaking Alaynia... I was born mute, so I shall never be able to speak in a normal manner. Felis are not designed to speak the human language, though we can easily understand it. This ability I learned to use, thanks to my dear friend Cerridwen, is helpful, but I prefer to not use it. I feel as if I am invading personal territory. To this, the Feli lowered her head a bit.
The Deejarne did not seem to agree with this as she notably quirked a brow from where she was seated. "...you mean you would prefer not having your opinion known and being sat upon when you have the ability to have your personal thoughts to be known?"
Shaking her head from side to side, she then responded with mental words: No. I can voice my opinion without words. I only learned this ability as an adult, so as a kit, I had to rely solely upon how I acted. Even small actions and expressions can voice agreement or disagreement.
Blinking dumbly at first, Alaynia then moved her hands towards her temples, then rubbed at them gently. "...okay... so you don't mind being mute... but then why are you sharing your ability to me?"
Perhaps I trust you...
To this, Alaynia stood herself upright, her legs being a bit wobbly from the lack of using them on a regular basis, and walked over to Requiem. "...don't worry... I won't tell anyone..." she reassured as a soft smile curled upon her lips. With that, she scooped the Feli up and began to pet her once more behind the ears.
Once again, a deep, yet silent rumbling began to emminate from the mute's chest as she sent these words: ...Indeed... I hope that you will prove to be as good of a friend as you seem...

She had guided the lavendar colored dream with the strangely beautiful circlet to where she had lived. The Deejarne had ignored the soot and dirt which was now getting caked into her nearly pristine fur. Alaynia had even gone so far as to allow the dream to meet with LizzyMoo.
As she bathed herself in the stream by their house, she sniffed a bit as she thought back to what her guardian had decided: She shall stay here... poor thing, having no home nor a guardian! I will love her like one of my own!
As she let the clean water sweep away the soot, Alaynia couldn't help but feel as if she had been replaced. "...I am her dream, and now she says she will treat... this... little rodent... as if she was her own dream! I am the only one priveleged enough... no... deserving enough of being LizzyMoo's dream!" Of course, her voice never reached more than a whisper, seeing as the loudest she could ever manage was a normal speaking voice after much strain.
Seeing as she didn't want her clothing and such to be a burden, she left her leg bracers, sash, and feather clips in the house. When she had finished rinsing her body off, her fur was quite weighted down, until she spun herself in a few circles, floating in her usual manner. Water spattered everywhere as she did this, but at least she was now dry, and once more her fur was quite clean.
"...I would have been driven mad if I had to deal with too much in my coat... it is such a bother to rid it of dark colors..." The Deejarne floated up to the house, her wings not even fluttering once as she moved through the air. At the door, she found her friend there, almost as if she had been waiting.
Requiem's glassy eyes were deadset upon the human-like dream as she entered. Signaling with her tail, she began to walk along. It seemed as if she wanted to show Alaynia something.
Having much respect for the mute, she followed behind, only stopping once she saw what she was being led to. "...You bring me to her?!!..." she said in a startled whisper.
Once more, the Feli's glass-like eyes shifted to the Deejarne, the look almost reading like a book: "Do not say that" being what was read. Lowering her pale haunches to the ground, she lowered the deeply shaded lids to her eyes and began to speak to only Alaynia's heart:
You do realize I can hear all that your heart says. I heard all that you were whining and complaining about as you bathed. You do not realize how childish you sound!
A bit taken back by the tone her friend had taken with her, her vulpine ears fell back and a faint flush came to her cheeks.
Nodding her head towards the lavendar dream, who was merely looking to the two, wondering why the two decided to stop before her, Requiem prodded Alaynia: Ask her about herself... her name? Where she comes from... so on...
One of her two ears dared to flick as she obediently (yet felt reluctant to) follow the order. Glancing to the lavendar dream which seemed to mock her with bleats of sheep and moos of the cow, she asked in her usual tone "Might I ask what name you have been deemed with?"
Rather predictably, she nameless dream perked up, a smile upon her small maw, and began to respond. Her response wasn't exactly something Alaynia could truly understand, for it was a long string of bleats. Once the lavendar one had silenced herself, she stood up and blinked as if expecting something.
A smile curled upon Requiem's maw as well as she proceeded to translate.
"That's a fancy way of asking what my name is... My name's Ansuz! I am a celtic rune Dream! I swear I must have told you earlier... in front of your guardian, but you must have problems listening! Why do you always look at me like I'm the stupid one?"
Chuckling to the best of her muted abilities, Requiem further explained: She does not realize that all she can say is unaudible to our understanding.
That would make sense... Alaynia mused for a bit before responding to the one who was just introduced as Ansuz. "I am quite sorry about that... I just do have difficulties understanding what you say at times... you speak quite quickly, dear Ansuz."
The group continued the conversation for a while, Requiem translating to Alaynia, then Alaynia responding to anything which needed responding to. A few things were learned, including that Ansuz was the Celtic Rune of wealth and cattle, that Ansuz indeed had no guardian prior, and that Ansuz indeed had been able to hold her own against certain nightmares.
Once content with the information, Alaynia nodded to both Requiem and Ansuz, bidding them adieu. As she floated up the stairs to gather her accessories (since she was still "naked"), she found that she truly had a new respect for the little lavendar dream.

It was a rather sunny day, though the shade provided by the many trees in the area reduced the beating rays into pleasant warmth upon any creature's skin or fur. By a creek which flowed softly on past, a fox-like creature seemingly floated in place. She seemed to be merely enjoying the clean water's motions, for her ocean blue eyes were fixated upon the slight foam the water made as it passed. Her body seemed quite relaxed, for it was seated in a gravity defying fashion. She had three sets of wings, but she didn't use any of them. Her nine tails twitched on occasion, but otherwise, they hardly moved.
On occasion, her hands would creep up and play upon the two pale feathers which were clipped to her left ear. Each time she did so, the vulpine ear would flick at the sensation. Her dark green hair swayed a bit with the gentle breeze that occasionally passed, while her paler green marble-like fur was not affected by the breeze. She sighed lightly and smiled a bit, enjoying the momentary solitude.
Just as odd as it was to find such an odd egg beside her pillow it managed to hatch. It most likely will not be an event she would forget. The slight jarring of the egg as it rested on a pillow sitting in the far corner of the room. She sat on her bed curious to see what was inside but also cautious, giving herself a good amount of distance between her and it. After nearly a half hour of chipping away the small fox like creature tumbled out. And it was at that moment the creature was able to speak. "oh dear..." It shook its head lightly and floated over to Kira whom simply stared back with wide eyes. "Well hello there bright eyes" The small creature chuckeled lightly opening its eyes to the same wideness pressing its face into hers... Her dream given life... or so it tried to explain. Either way it was welcomed into the family knowing after a quick decision that it was no threat.
It was this day that Kira had decided to take a walk out into the woods. She had been inside a bit too long and the written story she had taken interest in had finally concluded. Today was a day to go and live a life instead of reading about one. The duo followed along the stream. Kira, being barefoot and looking to the stones below her feet and the water that swirled around them. Her compainion, on the other hand, decided to keep himself out of the water and simply make himself comfortable resting upon her head. It wasn't all too terribly long before they happened upon a the other creature out also enjoying the day. Neither said nothing though thier presence was sure to be known as Kira had walked all the way up the stream.
The ear which had the pale feathers clipped to it flicked as she heard the others approach. Even such a movement seemed graceful, for it caused the feathers to dance lightly, floating a bit in a weightless fashion.
"....so close to my guardian's home, that you are..." she said in her usual tone, which was nothing more than a whisper. Turning to the ones who had approached, she glanced to what seemed to be a human, as well as one of her own kind. The markings of this particular one seemed like some fancy silver embroidery, which of course appealed to her ocean colored eyes. Keeping a rather indifferent look to her face however, she approached the two, floating in the air despite not even flapping wings as she drew closer.
Looking from the human to the kin upon the human's head, she uttered "...are you two also here to enjoy the scenery?" Her eyes then stopped upon the young Deejarne, almost as if expecting him to answer for the human.
"well of course, much more interesting than watching this one reading"
"well of course, much more interesting than reading.......................hey!" Kira crossed her arms lightly and tapped her finger upon her shoulder. Though the one on her head was most likely right, he didn't have to say it aloud like that. With a deep breath she let the simple thing go and went to look over the odd creature now infront of her. "Hello there. What is your name?"
Holding a bit of a grin Sebastian rolled over on to his back and swished his tails playfully almost mocking Kira everytime she spoke.
A slight curl raised one of her cheeks a bit, but it soon fell again. It would seem rude if she actually showed the human that the comment made at her expense was what she found humorous. Upon being asked of her name, three of her nine tails twitched quite noticeably. One of them even seemed to flop up into her lap, waiting to be stroked gently by the creature's hand. Of course, her hands obliged to the wish and began to stroke the soft fur.
"...I am deemed with the name 'Alaynia.' Might I return the question to the both of you?" Again, her eyes respectfully went to the young Deejarne and almost seemed to ignore the human below him.
"Sebastian, and the puffball below me is Kira"
"..puffball?... What do you mean by that?" She began to poke at her stomach in a bit of an overly worried manner. "i'm not fat..." Her eyes went from looking the creature over to herself. Frowning a bit she looked up meaning to simply look eye to eye with the one above her but forgot he was actually on her head. Sebastian slid off her head and began to bounce a bit in mid-air as if he had landed on a soft pillow.
"Watch it there oddball. I may be able to float but don't always expect me to know whats going on at any given time." He then began to paddle her lightly with his tails before floating up back to her head.
Again, another smile attempted to creep its way onto her cheeks, but again it was denied the right of passage as it once more was hidden away. Once more, she looked the Deejarne kit over, this time placing a hand to her mouth as she made her judgement.
"...Sebastian... tis a fitting name for one such as yourself. It would seem Kira did you justice by deeming you with that name..." Nodding her head to the human, she also added "...most likely he was referring to your hair... not your stomach..."
Once more, she curiously looked over the young Deejarne. "...might I pick you up for a moment Sebastian?... I want to get a good look at you..." she uttered. Other questions boiled down in her mind, such as his origin and so forth, but she would only voice certain questions one at a time.
Kira blushed for a moment concitering what was told to her. It made sense...
After just seating himself down on Kira's head again the other asked her question. "Well that is a bit of an odd question... But then again... this one has asked plenty of odd questions already..." After planting his paws firmly on Kira's head he made a small leap expecting the other to catch him. He winked, smiling greatly.
Instead of actually using her hands to capture Sebastian, she quickly moved her nine tails to cover her lap. This way, he could land upon her soft tails and not injure himself.
"...I am quite certain it is a strange request... I just wanted a better look at your markings... they intrigue me" she bluntly stated as she placed her hands under his forelegs and guided him gently into an upright seated position. As she continued her admiring inspection, she asked "...have you been able to answer all her odd questions?"
As if making sure Kira once again looked herself over. She then looked down to her reflection in the water as her friend and the other spoke.
"Eh...so far so good i guess..." He couldn't remember all the questions she had blurted out to him previously but he thought that he had answered them well enough. Being a bit lazy now he let himself be handled and inspected. "So... what brings you here, beautiful?" He grinned a bit cocky.
Having full knowledge of being what others would call "beautiful," she merely answered the question with relatively little reaction to the compliment. "I live not so far from this creek. Or rather... my true guardian does." It was something she always enjoyed pointing out, for she was proud of the fact that the one who found her was also the one who had dreamed her up. It also served as a reminder to herself that her mere existance completed the dream which she was.
One of her hands then freed the younger one as it motioned back towards a slight hill behind them. "...up that hill is LizzyMoo's home..." she uttered, finally allowing a smile to creep upon her features. Her other hand then lowered the kit down til his paws were upon her tail.
"...If you were a doll or something to which I would need to pay for, I would pay a rather decent sum upon you..." she said as she allow her finger to trail upon one of the silvery markings.
"Heh... sounds like your guardian is quite proud of you... Good!... me on the other hand..." His eyes shifted to Kira as she continued to look herself over. "I've got to deal with her denying any such thing. She says there is no way I could have come from her with the way I act. I act just fine... Shes the oddball..." His eyes rolled a bit as he turned his head to look at the other dream.
A faint blush reached her cheeks under the pale fur upon her face as she took in the compliment. She nodded her head as the child explained his view of his guardian.
"...Some are not even lucky enough to belong to the one who dreamed them up though. Of recent, another dream... though not of Deejarne origin... has come to reside with my guardian. I found the creature in Nowhere, and it seemed it had nowhere to go aside from Nowhere..." By this point in time, her cheeks had cooled once again.
"...disbelief isn't such an uncommon thing though... my guardian told me she thought it was impossible for me to come from herself... and in most standards... I guess one could say such a thing as well..." To this thought, her hand went up to scratch her hair, disturbing her feathers once more and causing them to dance again.
Feeling confedent in her appearance once again Kira began to feel uncomfortable standing in place. The water seemed much cooler when she wasn't moving. Seeing as her new friend was busy she walked out of the water and waited for him on a large stone off to the side.
One of his small paws came up to scratch at his chin a bit. "Interesting. I'm glad then that I have my guardian then. At least she is nice" He chuckled a bit. "Now i just have to get her to go out more and actually have fun."
Muffling her own laughter behind a hand which crept to cover her mouth, she looked to the boy's deep blue eyes and said "Fun is what one makes of things. One might find what your Kira does as fun, while others might not see it that way."
Leaning down a bit so she could whisper in a tone even softer than her usual, she then added "...and do you not have yourself a set of wings? Can you not just go out on your own and find yourself your own form of fun?" She pulled her head back and offered a slight smile as one of her tails flicked in a slightly mischievous fashion.
Quieting himself a bit he answered. "Of course I can go out on my own... but I doubt she would like it... She seems a bit attached to me... not that I can blame her, I am quite the fellow. I can just imagine the noise she would make if i just decided to go out for a bit without her following..." He crossed his arms and looked back at Kira in grumpy, child like fashon. After a moment, seeing as Kira was distracted by a butterfly and not noticing his look, he turned back to the other dream. He then brought his paws up infront of them and placed the palms together. As he spoke he opened his hands like a flapping mouth. " bla bla bla bla bla, you can't do that, bla bla bla bla bla, behave yourself, bla bla bla bla bla, where are your manners"
She let the child have his fun as he then openly mocked his guardian. However, Alaynia did not respond in a manner which would approve nor disapprove of his manners.
"...to be attached would mean she cares quite a bit. My guardian is as well, but she also likes having her own strike out and explore with that of their own kind. She was the one who encouraged me to go visit Nowhere in the first place. It is a rather bland place, but at least I was able to find others of our kind and learn more of how they see things..." Glancing back to the child, she then fluffed a bit of her own tails which were beneath him. Her glance was quite steady, but she said nothing more.
He continued his little mocking game as he now spoke for himself. "I guess I should be happy she worries for me. But I do definitly need to get out on my own. I need a bit of space. I guess if I told her what you were just saying, since I highly doubt she heard it, she may let me go out... Thanks" Now finishing his game he rested his paws upon his belly.
Bowing her head slightly in an attempted humorous fashion, she whispered "I am glad to be of service Sir Sebastian."
Glancing over to Kira once more, she then asked "...are all humans that spacey? Or is your guardian just a special case?" It really was not meant to be an insult, but she truly did have a lack of experience in regards to dealing with humans. In all honesty, she preferred not to interact with them.
"Dunno how humans are supposed to act...never met one. As for Kira, I think she chooses to be that way sometimes... I know shes not really stupid. Sorta a defence mechenism or something... not everyone has a happy past and I guess she would rather think of nothing when given the chance to think" He scratched his head wondering if he said that right. Of course he knew what his guardian was. To him it was obvious.
"...oh... she's not a human... my mistake!" she said with a slightly flustered tone in her whisper. Her cheeks grew a bit warm again at the mistake. Alaynia only halfway caught what the child tried to tell her, so in the end she was not only flustered, but a bit confused as well.
The elder of the two Deejarne then began to ramble on a bit, almost as if thinking aloud: "...goodness... I suppose then that I am not the only one who has a guardian who is not a human... though... I wouldn't think your guardian is a computer either... she doesn't have the ears... what would she happen to be then?"
To him it wasn't much of a bit deal of what she was. Waving his hand around he answered "Shes one of them... Angel.. things. More specifically a celestial" He shruged and looked back to Kira quickly. "Shes got wings and what not. She just hides them. I guess she doesn't like to be seen with them... They are actually quite pretty though."
"Why would she want to hide her wings?" she asked in a nearly appalled manner. Her own sets of wings fluttered lightly at the thought of their magnificence being hidden as if they were something to be ashamed of.
Curious himself he turned and called out of Kira snapping her out of her daydream. "Mooooommmmy~ Why do you hide your wings?" He smiled knowing if he called her that she was more likely to answer.
Blushing lightly from the name he had choosen to call her she answered as he knew she would. "Well... If I walk around with my wings a lot of people assume something of me. The normal people with begin to praise me, offer me gifts, and ask for my help. Some other people would try to hurt me if they saw them." She nodded to him and held a bit of a sad look to her eyes.
Her brow quirked at the logic behind her decision. "...and so because others would assume things of you, you hide your own gifts?" Her own wings once more fluttered, for she still was not quite able to understand the logic.
Such odd creatures those that are human and of similar likeness have... she thought to herself as she continued to look at the "celestial" with a rather wary eye.
"Its to avoid problems" Feeling a bit frustrated with the subject she began to advance. "We should head home soon..."
"But I don't want to go home yet. How would you feel if you just met one of your own kind then were torn away?" He frowned and pouted.
"...Alright... just a bit longer... but we do have to return at some point tonight. I have to make dinner and what not" Shaking her head she returned to where she had seated herself earlier.
What problems could arise from simply displaying what beautiful gifts one naturally had? Allowing her shoulders to roll into a shrug, she turned back to her younger companion. She smiled a bit as he almost seemed to mold the celestial within his paws.
Leaning in and whispering quieter than usual, she mentioned "...you certainly do know how to play your cards... it is probably quite useful." Alaynia pulled her lips away from Sebastian's ears so her ocean colored eyes could look to the dark blue ones before her. She wanted to judge his reaction to her statement.
His ear flicked lightly as she drew her head back. "Live and learn i guess..." His ego was boosted slightly and his growing grin showed it. "I guess i've got more living and learning to do. Who knows what I might be able to do later on in life."
Her own ear flicked in amusement as she then leaned down a bit so her hand would hold up her head. "I suppose that is a way to look at it. Though I would be quite curious as to what you will learn. I have learned a few things myself, some things more interesting than others, but all still well learned."
She smiled a bit as she then pulled her head back to its usual upright position. "...perhaps once you are full grown, you can tell me of more things you have learned." Glancing down, she winked lightly, though one could never be certain if another understands the meaning within such a gesture. Afterall, half the time the gesture was mistaken for something getting caught in one's eye.
He laughed a bit wondering what things he could pick up between now and then. "Well there surely has to be some interesting things to tell by then. So... can ya tell me what you have learned? It gives me a bit of a head start" Again he laughed enjoying himself. He quieted himself down quite curious and eager to listen to what the other had to say with her quiet voice.
She dared to smile a bit wider, enjoying the child's enthusiasm. "...well... there are many things I have learned. While I was in Nowhere, I found a few scrolls which had some encantations in them. Apparently it was magic of sorts, for one I can summon a water-like spear. There were a few others which I have learned, though I really do not understand them completely yet. I have learned of the Yudou, but then again, that was supposedly common knowledge to most of the dreams. Then..."
Here she paused and interupted herself to ask "...would you mind if I set you down?" Her own ears perked up a bit at the question, but she now had to await an answer.
"Yeah, sure, just as long as you keep telling me things you learned." His eyes looked down below him as he readied himself to actually leap off of her. Instead of suspending himself in the air he choose to sit upon a rock. His tails wagged as he waited for her to continue.
Smiling softly, she explained "It is sometimes better to explain with example." She glanced over to Sebastian's guardian who was about five feet away. It was a bit past her usual realm, so she then adjusted herself accordingly, floating closer to Kira until she was only about three feet away.
"Be certain to watch carefully... I can only do this so often..." she uttered as she then closed her eyes. Concentrating upon a new location, she suddenly just disappeared from the spot she was at, and instantly reappeared in front of Kira. Glancing to what she assumed to be a confused celestial, she uttered in her whispery voice "...teleportation..."
Kira was startled a bit by the sudden leap in location. She jerked lightly as the dream appeared infront of her. "ah..oh..." biting her lip she began to move a hand through her hair.
Sebastian found a bit of humor in it and began to laugh.
Nodding her head to the flustered creature before her, she drifted back towards Sebastian. "Tis something that I have been able to do since I was young... though I am also quite aware of my weaknesses in regards... seeing as I can only do that once in a short amount of time." She then leaned down and plucked the young Deejarne up off the ground and replaced him in her lap. A random question came to mind as she then uttered "...do you like to be scratched behind the ears?"
"oooh, please do!" His hears flicked lightly in antisipation. His mind began to wonder if he could do such things as teleportation. From there he began to think of all the small pranks he could pull because of it. A bit of a snicker excaped him.
Smiling softly, her hands moved to her companion's ears and she began to scratch them much like how she had with her mute friend. She doubted that he would purr, but that was because Alaynia knew that the dreams were not cats.
"oooo~ thats niiiice~" The young one seemed to melt to the nice touch. He would definitly have to get Kira to do the same later for him. Feeling quite relaxed his eyelids started to droop.
She chuckled a bit as she admitted "...My guardian only did this for me when I was able to fit in her lap... but now she is the one who does the lap-sitting." A light sigh escaped Alaynia as she thought about how nice it would be for her guardian to scratch behind her ears once more like when she herself had been young. Yet she continued with the strokes behind the boy's ears.
"mmmmm....so... how big is your guardian?..." His half closed eyes scanned over Kira. Even if he were his friends size he didn't think Kira would be able to rest in his lap.
Her statement was steady and clear as she then told him "She is eternally stuck within the body of a small child. She is only a little bit taller than half my height." With that, she offered one small pat to his silvery tuft of hair, then she stopped with her petting.
"hmm... that doesn't sound so bad...unless...i guess you want to eh...nevermind" ...unless you are the one that wants to be held... He sighed lightly hoping he didn't bother his friend with his little question. Standing himself up in her lap he stretched. "Perhaps now is time i go home with Kira..."
With a gentle smile, she nodded "It is not bad for me, for I love LizzyMoo. Sometimes I cannot help but pity her, but that is merely because I am an outsider looking in." Glancing over to Sebastian's guardian, she uttered "...be certain to convince her to allow you to find time for those of your own kind."
"Yeah, ive thought of a few good arguments just for that." Bouncing off her lap into the air he began to clumsily float over to Kira. He turned and waved goodbye to his new friend. "I'll see ya again sometime alright?" Once over to Kira he reclaimed his place upon her head and began to speak softly a bit before Kira waved and began heading back from where she came.
Her eyes remained upon the young Deejarne as he made his way back to his guardian, a soft yet mysterious smile curling her lips and making her whole expression seem a bit lighter. When she was waved to, she politely returned the gesture, though it seemed more like her arm was just swaying the breeze. She continued to do this until the two were out of her sights, then attempted to go back to what she had been doing before. Her contemplations were now tainted though with the recent conversations and Alaynia no longer found peace in just merely thinking. She sighed out, then turned back to the hill behind her, beginning her journey back to her own home (which was not that far away).

Once more, it was another calm day. A bit further upstream from where she usually dwelled, Alaynia drifted about, her ocean blue eyes looking to the water. It was taking quite a bit of getting used to, but she was gradually beginning to learn how to communicate with the one she recently learned was named Ansuz.
"...perhaps one of these days I can bring Ansuz with me when I come here... though I would have to get her to not bleat for ever so slight the amount of time..." she whispered in a slightly amused tone. There was no wind, but her hair and feathers at her ears seemed to float in equally as mystifying manner as her whole body usually did. She expected nobody to come searching for her, for the household had been quiet.
It took a bit of chatting but eventually Sebastian was allowed to wander out on his own. In truth he had no idea what he wanted to do or where to go other than out of the house. Enjoying his bit of freedom he decided to just keep going in one direction to see how far he could go. Smiling greatly he began to move himself as fast as he could dodging the incoming trees and thier branches. Such a thing proved to be quite amusing.
Eventually, Alaynia's eyes glanced towards something which seemed to catch her eye. It might not have seemed like much, but upon the ground a short distance away was a feather. Her fingers loomed over her own which danced by her ear, then she allow herself to float on over. Usually, she wouldn't let herself get so close to the ground, for it was quite dirty, but she couldn't help it. Afterall, she adored feathers (thus why she treasured the feather clips her guardian had given her). Leaning over carefully and allowing her body to hoover mere inches above the ground so that her tails nearly touched the dirt, she reached over carefully to pick up the soft piece of fluff on the ground.
Zipping this way and that Sebastian continued on. Within a good while he was quickly approaching the other. He bearly noticed and stopped abruptly when he noticed he was not the only one venturing outside that day. He remained in the distance and slowly touched the grouned to allow his feet to carry him the rest of the way. He looked at her a bit curious, first wondering what she was doing and second, if she would remember him.
Her fingers delicately picked the feather up, and once that simple task was complete, she went back to floating at her usual height above the ground. She leaned back and looked up skyward to look at the feather in a slightly better light. The feather wasn't white like the two upon her ear, but instead was quite grey. It was spotted in brown as well. It was still quite beautiful in her eyes all the same. Alaynia had not quite noticed the other, mainly due to her rather intent inspection of the feather.
"...perhaps it is an owl feather... I have seen some with markings like this..." she said in her usual soft and nearly inaudible tone.
He continued his approach and eventually spoke up. "hello there beautiful" Perhaps that would catch something in her memory if his appearance did not. He smiled wide and continued to walk over. His tails dragged upon the ground brushing the leaves around as he walked.
Her eyes widened in an embarassed manner and a faint flush under her pale fur brightened her cheeks a bit. Her eyes darted towards where the voice had came from, and she found a creature much like herself present. Pulling the feather behind her back, she looked him over. The greeting itself was quite familiar, and even the markings seemed familiar. Allowing a smile to find its way to the corner of her lips (though she was still quite embarrassed), she uttered softly "...Hello Sebastian..." Her ear flicked lightly for what seemed like no reason at all, though it was mainly annoyance at herself for getting so embarrassed so easily.
"Yeah, ya remembered me" A wide grin appeared on his face. "Look, all by myself" He chuckled lightly. Eventually he stopped infront of her and stood there looking her over once again. "So, how do I look" He licked his lips a bit and winked.
She was not nearly as daring as she had been when he was just a kit. Hoovering in place for a bit, she blinked and blinked again. Finally, she allow herself to shift about and look him over. Drawing somewhat close to him, she then began to look him over. She pointed a finger and would have traced over the fine silver embroidery-like markings, but figured it would have been too bold. Instead, she traced the markings in the air. She floated on behind him to get a good look at his wings, only to find three sets there. Glancing down, she found his three tails had indeed split into nine.
Once content with her findings, she floated back to a place where she could look Sebastian in the face and said with a soft smile "I must admit, I certainly approve."
Putting his hands on his hips he stuck his chest out a bit. "Thanks. So, how have ya been doing? I haven't seen you in a bit." His tails swayed back and forth moving the leaves under it along with.
Still keeping the grey and brown-spotted feather behind her, she replied "I have been fairing well. Learning to understand the one my guardian now deems as my sibling." A couple of her tails swayed in the air and one of her wings twitched lightly as she drew her hand from behind her, revealing the feather she had found once more.
"...It would seem you would be fairing well also... seeing as you managed to go out without an escort."
"It took a bit of convincing but i won her over" His eyes looked over the feather but it didn't hold the same interesting qualities the other found. Walking slowly he began to circle her a bit. "So... you have a little brother or sister now? That didn't take long"
Keeping her eyes upon the moving figure, she explained "...well... tis not truly my guardian's dream, but LizzyMoo decided to keep her all the same. I found Ansuz, as she goes by, in Nowhere. It seemed she didn't have any place aside from that place to go, so I allow her to follow me home after my ventures in Nowhere were complete."
She paused here and took in a deep breath, for all of this talking was causing her rather faint voice to grow a bit dry. Her fingers lightly played with the spotted feather for a bit, then she continued anew:
"My guardian has a kind soul, so she took Ansuz in as her own. It was quite difficult figuring out Ansuz's name, and many things about her, for she has a very limited abilities in communication. It is quite difficult to understand one who can only bleat like a sheep and moo like a cow. Strange girl she is."
As he listened he nodded untill she got to the mooing and bleating. "Whaaa? Thats the wierdest thing i've ever heard" His walking stopped and he turned inward to face her. "hmm.... I guess it was nice of your guardian to take her in... Now that i think of it we've got a little one at home that doesn't even have a mouth to make any sort of sound."
She laughed lightly, seeing as her voice was quite soft. Bringing a hand to her mouth to muffled the laughter a bit, she nodded "...yes... accordingly, she is marked with a celtic rune. Supposedly her domain is cattle and wealth, though what the two have to do with each other, I am not certain." Lifting her eyes a bit as Sebastian went on about her own guardian and other residents of his home, listening carefully though her expression would lead one to thinking she wasn't doing such a thing.
"LizzyMoo..." she began anew, her voice still quite light in the air "...is a unique guardian. She has quite a houseful of wards. I personally have taken a liking to the mute Feli she has. Such a beautiful creature. Her household is filled with quite a few characters though. Some pleasant, others not so pleasant..." She sighed as she gradually allow herself to float a bit lower than usual to the ground.
"Ah, my family is kinda small... or maybe just right... I don't know really" He laughed a bit as he went over the few that lived together in the home. He somewhat surprised himself when he called them family. Lifting his feet up he began to float lightly as the other one was doing. His tails however remained resting lightly on the ground.
She chuckled as her companion seemed to debate over the correct size of his family. "...Your family is what you make of it. I do not think that I personally could manage a large household, but others get their jollies from having large families. Though it is nice to see many a friendly face."
Here she happened to glance down to Sebastian's tails and nearly gasped at what she saw. Alaynia hardly realized that he had been merely standing earlier, but now that he was floating, it was quite evident that a sin was before her.
"...are you not worried of being dirty?" she asked as she seemed to inspect his now dust-covered tails.
He thought about how nice it really was to have someone to talk to around the house. His thoughts were interupted by her question. "Dirty? heck no. It gives me all the more reason to have a nice warm bath later" He chucked and went to swaying his tails in the dust and leaves a bit more.
Her nose crinkled up as she watched him continue with the disgusting display. She had never had a bath in anything aside from the creek, which was never warm.
"So you are getting dirty just so you could clean yourself again?" Her nine tails all lofted up to the deejarne's lap and she soon began to float in a different direction, waving a hand to Sebastian to signal for him to follow.
"Well sure! Kira fills up the tub with warm water and this nice smelling soap that makes bubbles all over" He sighed thinking of the bath he would most likely get later. He bearly noticed the hand wave but when the other started to move away he followed on foot.
At first, she just simply guided him along the edge of the creek, still seeming to enjoy the peaceful sound of the water flowing on past. Yet as they drew closer to a grassy hill, Alaynia began to move towards that. She didn't explain where she was leading him, but as they neared the highest point of the hill, it became blatantly obvious as a house came into sight.
His eyes lit up as a house came into view. "Is that where you live? Wow you aren't all that far away from where I live" As the two approached closer the concitered that bringing dirty feet into someone elses home wouldn't be apprieciated. With a small bounce he set himself afloat keeping himself from getting any dirtier. He was good enough for a bath when he returned home.
Nodding her head lightly, she whispered "Tis where I live." The two soon were at the back door. It seemed the two Deejarne were not the only ones who had just come back from a journey, for a white cat with silver tabby markings and a black sword slung upon his back was entering the house through the pet flap. Alaynia's eyes widened, for she had never seen this creature before within the household.
Drawing a finger to her chin, she scratched lightly and muttered "...never seen him here before... yet another to Lizzy's household which has surprised me." Seeing as it would have been quite degrading to enter via the petflap, not to mention the two floating creatures were far bigger than the flap would allow, Alaynia then opened the door. She floated in, then with the hand which held onto the grey feather, she signaled for Sebastian to follow her.
Floating closely behind he took it upon himself to close the door behind them. "So... you don't even know if some random thing just walked into your house?" He at least waited for the creature to get out of hearing range before opening his mouth. He wanted to just roam around and examine the home for himself but he didn't wish to be rude so he remained behind her.
"Those who are welcome will find no problems when entering... those who are not might have to deal with Harley... as entertaining as she is, she can be quite intimidating when trying to scare something away." The two had of course not entered via the front door, so they didn't find the room to be something one would expect at the front of the house. Instead, the two were in the kitchen. Alaynia moved to a cabinet at pulled out a glass for herself. Glancing to her company, she asked "...did you want something to drink as well?"
His head tilted to the side wondering what Harley could be. "hmm? oh, yeah, sure. Water would be nice" He nodded then went back to looking over the kitchen since it was the only room he felt he was allowed in so far.
Smiling a bit, she went to the faucet with two glasses and proceeded to fill both of them up. The kitchen looked much like a normal kitchen, save for the numerous petbowls upon the ground. The two Deejarne were not alone, for there were two feline-like creatures at the bowls. One seemed to be a kitten, of pale green and seemed to have a ruby-like jewel upon it's forehead. The other was about the size of a dog and was quite tan with darker tan points. The larger of the two was chowing down while the younger one kept glancing over to the Deejarne with his bright purple eyes.
At first he tried to ignore the others in the room but he found that he was staring. He hadn't seen such creatures and was rather curious if they could talk. Eventually he turned his back to them certain that the glasses of water were full and his companion would be handing him one to take.
...More to come...

Wow... how was I supposed to know that I was going to be stalked by dreams. It is strange, but I used to wish to be able to dream, and now creatures originated by dreams are swarming to me like flies to something sweet. I don't mind, but what in the world would they find intriguing about me?
First it was Alaynia. She as she has reminded me time and again, originated from me, though she still hasn't told me what type of dream she is. It confuses me, since I really don't remember dreaming her up.
Then there was Ansuz, who Alaynia found in Nowhere. Alaynia came back with all sorts of things, including a bunch of scrolls and some stones. She has been reading over them of recent, perhaps learning what they are for. I haven't really gotten a good look at them. Yet Ansuz is the sweetest thing. I wonder why she didn't have a guardian. She is funny as well, since she seems like a sweet lamb with her constant bleating and mooing.
Finally, the most recent addition to the family: Atashi. I assume that Atashi is a girl, mainly because of what she is wearing. Such a cute creature, but she only stirred one time, and that was enough to tell me her name. I don't really know much else about her though. It was kinda funny though. I found her while looking through a pile of old toys that my neighbor wanted to give to me. I guess my neighbor thinks that because I look like a child, I like child's playthings. Partially true in a sense, since I did find a few good items that looked festive enough, but still...
Anyways, Atashi... I found her in a pile of plushes. She was sleeping beside a pillow shaped like a star, and she had a bunny-like hood-dress she was wearing. She also had a crown strapped to her head by a red ribbon with a bit of a ruffle at the lower neck. Reminded me of the character from "The City with No People" story books. Such good books. At first, I really did think she was a toy, but then I noticed that she was moving faintly. It wasn't her limbs, but mainly her breathing. As I watched, I of course grew a bit curious, and I decided to poke her. I poked her in the side, and she squeaked like a little plush. Yet, she also flopped to her opposite side, which proved to me that she was not a plush.
I then asked her name. In a yawned out fashion, she uttered "...My name is Atashi..." then fell back asleep. I scooped her up, for she truly does remind me of that book. She is now sleeping in my bedroom, star pillow at her side like before. Ansuz seemed to be quite curious and was sniffing her. Alaynia said she appears to be a younger version of Ansuz, but I think she means in form, not character. I am quite certain she is a dream, but I cannot be certain until she wakes up a bit more.
I can't wait!

The morning sun had barely creeped in through the blinds, but sunlight has an awful tendency to search out for the eyes of someone who is sleeping. A sleeping lavendar dream had been resting oh so peacefully near the window with the blinds, occasionally bleating in her sleep. Yet the sunlight soon played upon her face in a teasing fashion. Her features upon her face twisted in discomfort as she tried her best to ignore it, but resistance was futile. The day wanted the Celtic Rune dream to awaken.
Her purple eyes fluttered open in a manner which was still filled with sleep. The golden circlet upon her head seemed to droop a bit, almost as if it was also quite tired and wanted ten more minutes of sleep. Yet if the dream was refused sleep, so would the adornment upon her head suffer as well. Slowly rising to her feet, she stretched slowly, getting any sort of kinks worked out of her body that sleep might have caused. Her tail flicked as well, getting the blood flowing there as well.
With a soft yawn, she drew a paw to her eyes and rubbed at them. Once content with that, she happened to glance up and found something that at first, she had no clue what it was.
A strange gem of some sort was floating a bit above the level of her nose. It was simplistic in its cuts, but it seemed to shine of all the colors of the rainbow. In fact, it almost seemed like the gem had a bit of an aura to it as well.
Strange... she said, though of course, the world would have only heard it as a curious bleat that a sheep would make. Ansuz seated her hind legs down, then brought her paw up to tap at the gem. Yet as she attempted to touch the seemingly magical gem, it floated up a bit out of her reach.
HEY! Don't do that! she giggled as she once more tried to touch it, reaching a bit higher this time. Obviously the gem was not obedient, for it dodged once more. This seemed to please the lavendar one, for she instantly stood up as tall as she could upon her hind legs and with both of her forepaws, attempted to bat at the rainbowy gem. Each effort of hers was defeated as it moved just enough away to dodge any sort of attack.
With a giggling bleat, she then took to trying to chase the gem. Running as fast as she could, her legs attempted to catch up to the gem which seemed to always be one step ahead of her.
This is so much fun! she said in a deeply contented moo. Eventually, she had to slow down and regain her breath. Panting lightly, she looked up to the gem which tirelessly floated beside her. ...yer... awfully pretty... why are you following me?... she asked between deep breaths. Of course, the gem couldn't speak, and so no answer was given.
"...Good day Ansuz..." a familiar voice called out. Apparently Alaynia had been close to where Ansuz had decided to stop and rest. The Deejarne's translator was not present, so her plans were to keep the conversation short and quite simple. That way, she could easily guess what the other might have been saying.
Yet such plans soon seemed to vanish into thin air as something beautiful caught her ocean-like eyes. A strange crystal seemed to float near the other. In awe, she pulled much closer than she usually would and looked at it with wide and longing eyes. "...such a beautiful crystal you've found Ansuz... might I ask how you came across such a lovely trinket?"
Shaking her head from side to side, the lavendar dream quickly proceeded to explain (though of course, Alaynia was unable to understand much beyond the shake of the head): I don't know where it came from! It's pretty, but I didn't find it. I think it found me! I woke up to find it floating beside me. It wasn't with me last night... or I don't recall. It's funny though... I can't seem to touch it... or it won't let me at least. It is fun to play with though! By this point, the dream was grinning a bit, good humor being on her side.
Her jaw gaped open a bit as she realized her own foolish mistake in asking such a question. All her ears heard were bleating, with the occasional low moo tossed in. Flicking her feather adorned ear, she attempted to fudge her way about the issue. "heh... that sounds interesting... though you can't tell me, I still think it is quite beautiful..." Offering a bit of a wave, Alaynia quickly attempted to flee and was quite successful in such attempts.
Mmmmm... the lavendar dream mused as she seated herself down and placed a paw to her maw. What should I call you... little gem? Again, the gem didn't respond in any fashion, so it left Ansuz there pondering some more.
Hmmm... I think for now... I will call you 'Rainbow'... yeah... that's pretty! And you are showing me all those pretty colors! Lifting her paw in an attempt to shake paws with the gem (though it had no paws), she found that the gem dodged yet again. That's going to take some getting used to! she said with a grin as she then began to head off to do whatever it was she felt like doing for the rest of the day.

Upon the ground were two pillows and two creatures which rested upon each pillow. One glowed of the shades of the rainbow, while the other seemed younger and in a deep sleep.
Floating above the two resting dreams was a third dream of human stature. Her ocean blue eyes remained fixated upon the one which glowed in an unnatural manner. She made no sound, save for the occasional flick of her feather-clipped ear.
A smaller figure which resembled that of a human, save for the ears, began to walk across the room, drawing closer to the three dreams. Her pale blue eyes skimmed over the three, and rested upon the third face, that which belonged to Alaynia. "...you know... you shouldn't sit there and waste away with worry..." she offered, the light upon the middle of her forehead flickering from green to red, and then back to green.
Not even lifting her eyes from the usually lavendar-colored dream, she replied in her usually whispery voice "I had no plans upon wasting away Lizzy. I wanted to make certain that Ansuz is safe. It was rather sudden that she began to glow of such colors..."
Giggling a bit, the persocom scratched at her silvery hair and said "...yeah yeah... it was so sudden that the gem which floated about her suddenly merged with her and forced her to sleep. You worry too much..."
"...Or you don't worry enough!" Alaynia said sharply as she finally changed her focus. Her eyes narrowed a bit as she looked to her dreamer somewhat harshly.
The computer giggled a bit more and even waved a hand to signal that Alaynia was still being too serious. "I was the one who brought that gem home... got it from Lord Changeling... I didn't really know what it would do, but let time run its course."
A brow quirked upon the Deejarne as she asked suspiciously "...Lord Changeling...?"
"Yes... the one who knows the most about the dreams and dream-kind... he didn't say that anything bad would happen to a dream if they came into contact with the gem." The child-like computer paused then stuck her tongue out at the Deejarne. "...as I said... you worry too much!"
Finally giving up in regards, her vulpine ears flattened a bit as she uttered in a defeated whisper "...perhaps I do... but would you not sit by her bedside if you felt that one of your kind was in danger?"
"...You seem to forget that Rikki is the only one of my kind... and that is because we are computers Alaynia. If I felt that one of my family was in danger, I might actually do as you do..." Yet another pause, and even a thoughtful glance snuck into the cheerful expression the computer tended to hold onto.
"...I think you need to go hang out with your kind again... it is good for you to do such things you know!"
"...If you mean that wretched 'Nowhere' place... I refuse unless I have company... it is completely dismal and disgusting to look at Lizzy!"
Shaking her head from side to side, Lizzy grinned as she explained "...naw... this place is somewhere... not nowhere... I heard about it recently. It is a place where Dreams can go to compete against each other in friendly sparring. A test of skill so to speak. You told me that you fought against a Nightmare when you visited Nowhere..."
"...three... fought against three..."
"Right... well... you fought against something. Perhaps you can work upon using that teleportation thingur of yours... it could be handy in a sense..."
The Deejarne's ears still remained at the lowered position as she said "...I really am not all that interested... but it sounds more like you are interested for me..."
Pointing a finger and waggling it to the far larger Dream, she said with childish persistance "It would do you some good to get out of the house for a bit so you stop staring at poor Ansuz!"
The Deejarne had noted prior that LizzyMoo had nerves of steel and was not easily convinced otherwise in regards to what she deemed good for her family. "...I suppose that if you would like me to do that... I will be humble and obey them to the best of my abilities." Offering a bit of a bow, she departed with a simple "...I shall leave at once..."
Waving goodbye for the moment, Lizzy plopped herself down near the two slumbering dreams. "...you are both so quiet... I wonder which one of you will wake up first...?"
Almost as if upon command, the younger looking of the two stirred. The pale pink dress with hood and long rabbit ears moved slightly with each stretch the cream colored body provided. With a squeak of a yawn, the dream then recited some lines in a daydreaming voice:
In this city there are no people. The lights are on in all the houses, But, there is nobody on the streets. Are there people inside? I peek in a window to find out. There are people. But they are with 'them.' I look in other houses. These people are with 'them,' too. This city is just like all the rest. Being with 'them' is fun. More fun than being with people. Nobody comes outside anymore. There are no people in this city. I will leave this city and go to another one. I hope that I will meet someone. Someone just for me. But if that special someone falls in love with me... ...I will have to leave that someone. Even so, I want to meet with that special someone. This is what I think as I leave the city with no people.
Staring with somewhat wide eyes, the computer asked "...and what do I call you...?"
"Atashi... my name is Atashi..." said the soft voice which almost sounded like it would be lulled away to sleep again.
"...heh... welcome to the family then Atashi..." the computer said softly with an even softer smile upon her face.

Things had grown quiet. LizzyMoo had gone back to doing her usual daily duties, and the new dream labeled as Atashi had once more gone back to sleep. Ansuz in the meanwhile, seemed to have something different going on for her. She had been glowing of rainbow for a while, but now it seemed as if her form had turned into a pure white glow. If one watched the form carefully, one would notice that the single tail began to split into nine different tails. Something that seemed to be feathery wings also sprouted from the dream's back. In fact, the glowing mass seemed to stretch a bit more, almost as if growing at a rapid speed. Yet eventually, the brilliant glow seemed to fade, and the shifting within the figure ceased.
All that was left was a lavendar creature which seemed much like a fox, but was a bit larger (closer to the size of a German Shepard). Sleepy eyes finally awoke for the first time in many a day and looked around.
"...Moo...?" The slightly darker lavendar eyes glanced to the dream slumbering beside her. It was then that her wings began to flutter lightly. It was uncontrolled in actuality, and it even caught the newly grown Celestial in surprise. It was a sudden beat of feathers upon feathers she had never heard before, save for when Alaynia had actually flapped her wings, which was a rare event in itself. Glancing back with curiously shy eyes, she found rather pristine white feathers sprouted from her back.
"When the heck did that happen?!!" she bleated out as she hopped back. It was a rather foolish thing to do, for she then tripped upon one of her many longer tails. Even more surprised now that she was on the floor, Ansuz attempted to wriggle her tail as she had done before. This sensation was also new, for she now had nine completely different tails which were able to feel and move in all sorts of different directions.
Once more, she attempted to stand up, and found that the new dream who was nearby was surprisingly smaller than she initially could tell. It didn't look to be a fully adult dream, but it still seemed to be old enough to be bigger.
"Did I grow or something?" she murmured to herself, moving clumsily forward.
A rather familiar figure soon appeared in the nearest doorway, floating along in her usual manner. Yet something didn't seem right about the expression which she wore. Instead of maintaining her usual calm expression, she had a slight frown upon her mouth. Her eyes were downcast and even the lively ocean color seemed to be toned down a bit. Small worries tickled her mind, preventing her from even paying much attention to the creature which was now staring at her.
"...baa? Baaaaaa...." Still getting used to the mass of tails dragging along behind her, Ansuz gradually moved forward. Alaynia was still bigger than her, but not by as much.
The Deejarne's feather adorned ear flicked as she heard a sound which was so familiar, yet she had not heard in a long time. Nearly forgetting her slight burdens, she looked to the bleating dream. Her eyes widened drastically and her lips even dared to curl into a smile.
"...Dear Ansuz... what a transformation... you truly are something special now..." Growing a bit bold, she floated on down a bit so she could reach and touch the soft feathers. "...It looks like your rune has jumped from your tail to your wing Ansuz..." she uttered in a whisper as she continued her inspection.
"Really?" she bleated as her ears perked up. The celtic rune dream had never thought of herself that highly before. Being inspected in such a manner was a bit weird, but then again, the celestial had always known her sister to be quite strange.
Pulling herself away for a moment, Alaynia asked "...do you even know how this happened? Do you think it was that crystal?"
"RAINBOW?!!" The Celtic Dream had nearly forgotten about that pretty gem. Her ears folded back for a moment as she seemed to mourn the loss of what she considered a friend.
Noting the fret which seemed to suddenly appear upon the other's face, Alaynia attempted to appease her sister: "...do not burden yourself with the jewel... it is still with you, I watched as it seemed to merge with you Ansuz."
The lavendar Celestial blinked with wide eyes as she merely stared rather rudely at the one who had just spoke. Rainbow is still with me she thought silently. The thought seemed to make her happy, for soon the celestial seemed to revert back to being a mere childish dream again. She ran in a few circles just to display her true content. Even her wings were not immune, for they soon began to flutter in an uncontrolled fashion once more.
A rather strange idea came across Alaynia's mind as she spoke of it the instant she schemed it: "...would you like to go to Nowhere? I am certain you have grown stronger... seeing as you have grown... perhaps we will meet some other dreams and be able to display your new beautiful form. You, Ansuz, have truly proven yourself to be a beautiful butterfly underneath that caterpillar-like exterior!"
Nodding her head eagerly, Ansuz soon began to trot off, preparing for the trip she was to make with her sister.

The house was quiet, or at least far quieter since it was night time. All the miscellaneous creatures of LizzyMoo's household were either quiet or asleep (seeing as some of the creatures were nocturnal). Yet at the window in the kitchen, one dream remained awake. Her wide brown eyes were fixated upon the sliver of silver moon outside, providing light to the world.
In fact, she had only recently grown into what others might consider an adult, thus why she was so wide-eyed that evening. Though an adult, when she began to speak, the voice was quite childish and pure, creating a bit of an atmosphere meant for a young child.
Just as I feared There's no one here either. Everyone is inside with them. Being with them is like living a beautiful dream. A beautiful dream... ...that no one wants to wake up from. They will grant your deepest wishes. They will do whatever you ask. They will be whatever you want. They can do things that you cannot. But... there is one thing... ...they cannot do. They can never become people. They might look like people, But they are only substitutes. I know this very well because I am one of them. Today I look for someone just for me. Someone who has love for me alone. Someone who will love me even if I can't fulfill their wishes. But... There is another me. The other me asks... 'Does such a person exist?' I need... ...Someone whose love for me is true. I want... ...Someone who loves me without asking anything in exchange. I hope... Unless the someone loves me for being me... ....they're not someone just for me. 'Is that so?' It is. 'This someone exists?' He does. 'If so...then where?' My someone is nearby, I think. Perhaps I already know him. 'But... What if that person does not love you back? What if that person likes someone other than you? People aren't like them. You can't erase their feelings. People aren't easy to change.' I know. But people do change. Their feelings are dynamic. 'Feelings of love are more resistant than others. What if he never loves you?' Then I'll have to decide. Decide... ...and then do what must be done. Me and the other me.
With a gentle sigh, the dream wandered back into the further depths of the house, her long rabbit ears upon her hood trailing along like the train of a dress. It was far too much contemplation for one evening.

Walking into the thread, Candle looked around as if she were missing something. Silent as a mouse, she sniffed the air slowly and padded towards the other side, her tail swinging back and forth as she wondered if she could find her powers here. At the moment she felt as if she was missing something more than her ability of communication, she wanted to find her powers, and her meaning in the world and nowhere. Sighing, she sat down and looked towards the window with a squint.
Upon steady pale paws, a dream which truly only seemed to be a female walked in. It had seemed like she had been wandering for a long time, though in all honesty, she had only been wandering as long as it took to get from Lizzy's house to the current location. Long ear-like drapes dragged along behind the dream, and never seemed to get in the way, never tangling up with the paws as they stepped forward. The crown which was on her head was at a slight tilt and tied on with a red ribbon.
Her deep brown eyes then spotted someone. Could this be the someone she had been meaning to meet? With light steps, she made her way over to the other and asked in a voice which seemed quite childish, though the dream was indeed an adult: "...Are you looking for someone as well?"
Turning slowly, the yudou only blinked and tilted her head, her ears falling slightly as she looked over the figure in front of her. Taking in the strage appearence, she listed to the question and just blinked at her, wondering what she meant by that, before slowly shaking her head in a negative response. Her tail swinging, she tilted her head up once more, feeling a dull ach as she wanted to search faster for her missing powers.
The crown upon her head only seemed to tilt farther to one side upon the response. In a nearly sad sigh, she turned away and continued her meandering about the room. It was rather pointless to do such a thing, for the room was not all that filled with others. Soon enough, the words which occasionally ran through her head came out in a rather clear tone. Her voice still held the child-like tone, but now it seemed to come from a story-teller:
They can do anything. They are super-people made by people. They can be prettier than the real thing. They can be smarter than the real thing. They can be whatever people want them to be. Whatever people can dream of...
Candle folled the dream with her gaze and her ears perked at the words. Rolling her eyes with a sort of annoyance, she noted a seeming depression in the strange story, and started to put two and two together. Feeling a sort of...connection with the dream, she made to stand and walked over towards her, sitting next to her once agian as she used the strange power she had kept even after her whisp stage, 'Would you seace that...' she whispered into the other dreams mind, using her whisp communication because she could not speak with her mouth, 'There is no reason to act like that, you think you are alone, but you aren't. There are other people in the world'. She looked around, bored, and sighed after a moment.
The dream did hear the words the other offered to her mind, but it wouldn't cause her story to taper off. Instead, she continued, though her paws did stop and her haunches did come to rest for the moment.
When the people saw their creation, They thought that their dreams had come true. But then... ...people forgot their dreams. And in time, they invited people to share in a new dream... ... a dream they can't wake up from. 'But... Is that the dream that people want? Is that what happiness is?' They were created to make people happy But are people truly happy being with them? Is this City with No People truly happy?
Candle just blinked before shrugging, and let out an airy thought that went to the whole room, I tried..., and she turned away to walk back towards where she was searching, feeling sad she could not meet the other Yudou and hopefully make an ally. She was silent and dark in her opinion, and it would have been nice to meet another and ask about where they found their power.
More in response to the words which she was beginning to remember than when the other began to leave, she continued to speak.
'I don't know. Because... Happiness depends on the individual. All people are different. No two are the same. What makes one person happy... ...might make another sad. People's souls come in all shapes and sizes. And as time goes on and a person grows, Their soul can change. Their hopes and dreams can change.' That's why... ...there isn't just one type of happiness. Then... ...there must be a way that I can be happy, too? 'That is what we all want, isn't it?' To fine the person just for you, To find your own happiness... That would be wonderful, wouldn't it.
Finishing the new part which had just so suddenly flooded her memory, she went back to the dream which had spoken to her mind. Her steps were once more quite light, and her long draping ears seemed to glide like silk against the ground.
"...I know that I am not alone... for I know that there is someone out there just for me." A small smile curled her maw, which only seemed to be self-assured.
Candle turned suddenly when the yudou joined her side and glanced at her for only a moment before she turned away, whispering once more, I know that there that there are powers, and there are dreams, but a world without humans is just silly... She looked back to the dream, Humans will always be there, but... She paused and sent a sad gaze to the dream, They...aren't in nowhere...
Her head tilted to the side at the mention of humans.
"...a world without humans? A strange thing indeed... why would you mention such a thing?" A bit of a wide-eyed blink followed, seeing as at times, she didn't even know what she was saying and didn't realize her words could have easily been interpretted as such.
Shrugging her shoulders slowly, she glanced to her, 'I am Candle...how did you get your powres? She looked intrested and wondered silently, hoping that this strange dream could help her find her powers.
The dream's head began to sway gently from side to side as she answered "...My name is Atashi... and what powers do you refer to?" The Yudou stopped with her swaying to give a look to the other, whom had not spoken at all with her mouth, but all with her mind.
"...do you mean powers like your own?"
Moving closer to Atashi, Candle touched her nose to the other dreams cheek, all the while her paw going to touch the dream's heart, 'I mean what I say, or do you not have powers of your own....that makes you different...' She pulled away and looked towards the yudou's eyes for a moment, before turning, feeling once again that another could not help her in her search.
The sudden intimate contact did not seem to jar the dream. However, she didn't return any such gestures of her own.
"...I remember things on occasion... things which I have no recall of time or place, but they are just words... I had that happen just now... the words comfort me, but I do not see them as a power..."
A smile once more found its way to her mouth as she then stated "...if I had a power, I would seem to consider myself one of 'them'... and would being one of 'them' make someone else happy?"
Looking to her, Candle seemed to think for a long moment, 'Powers are why we are here...they are what make us unique, and show how we are special. It is not the powers that make us like...them...but the way we use them...' She had no idea who they were, but she decided she would go along with it for now.
Laying herself down, Atashi placed a paw to her chin and seemed to think.
"...do these powers happen to be the way in which the dreams which cannot be awaken from emerge? A dream which a person does not want to wake up from and cannot wake up from?"
Blinking, Candle grew confused, though she did not show it, and slowly she spoke in her mind's language, '...They are powers of the gods...' she said slowly, 'Gods do not like to do that...they like to give powers so that dreams that can weild them are capiable of using them for good...if they so desire...' she hoped that helped somewhat.
Seeming to hold onto a strange combination of child-like innocence and deep contemplation, the next question was relatively simple: "Do these powers make others happy? Do these powers make others sad?"
Candle turned to the younger dream, though it only seemed like that way, and smiled sadly, 'It is up to thoes who yeild the powers...' shaking her head, she wondered what she would use her powers for, and she let out a deep sigh.
"'Happiness depends on the individual...'" she stated in a nearly daydreamish manner. The dream remained quiet for a moment, still seeming to think, though in all honesty she really wasn't.
"Is it important to know your own powers? Or can they remain without being known and only coming into use when necessary?" She gazed to the other one for an answer. Though her rather dark brown eyes seemed to be quite calm, they also held onto that child-like curiousity.
Candle sighed softly, this time speaking with a strange sence of sorrow, 'That I cannot answer...for I have yet to find my power...and I know it is not hidden...' She turned away slowly and looked towards the house, 'But oh how I wish to find it...
"Is that what is most precious to you?"
At first, the dream seated herself after asking the question, but then she stood up and signaled with a nod for the other to follow her. Once more, her long ear-like trains trailed behind her, yet never managed to get in the way.
"Will you search for that which is precious to you?"
Candle seemed thoughtful as she followed, 'I search for my hearts desire...I search for a purpose in life....though I am not sure if that is the most precious thing to me...I think friendship, being loved, and being wanted would be moreso precious than powers...if I had no one to share them with, they would have no use...' she said slowly.
Atashi almost seemed to lighten up at the answer she received.
"Does that mean you are looking for that someone special just for you? The one who loves you and only you? I have been searching a long time for my special someone... I don't remember how long though..." Though the subject almost seemed to have grown a bit more solemn, the rabbit-eared Yudou maintained the same contented air to her.
Candle blinked for a moment before a slow smile crossed her features and she nodded, 'Yes, I suppose I am looking for that someone...' She thought about Mel, Evvy, and Taffy, all three who seemed to be struck with that feeling of their special someones, and she wished she had that opertunity.
"...I know that special someone exists... and I want to meet that special someone just for me..."
Whether the two realized it or not, Atashi was merely leading the current company about the room in a circular manner. She really wasn't paying too much attention to where she was going, but wandering seemed to make the little dream at ease.
Stopping suddenly, Candle looked to her, 'Have you searched in no where?' she asked helpfully and smiled slightly, though her eyes were still saddened as she was still looking for her power. Giving up for the time being, she just wanted to see what her friend was going to do.
Shaking her head from side to side, she answered "I have not been to Nowhere yet... for my guardian has requested that I wait until my siblings return. They went off to Nowhere a while ago, but have yet to return."
There seemed to not even be a hint of worry in her voice. Though once more, her curiousity seemed to be piqued.
"...have you searched Nowhere for your special someone? Have you been to Nowhere?"
Whispering softly though the air, Candle looked around for a moment, 'Only very little...very little...' she moved towards the door, and paused, 'Would you like to walk outside for some air?' She asked softly, her eyes dark as the door opened to reveal a bright sun-set.
A small smile curled her mouth as she nodded.
Though it was a sudden change of lighting, Atashi almost seemed to not react to it. Her pupils shrank, but it was all. Stepping outside with the same sure steps which didn't even bother her trailing ears, she let out a slight giggle.
"...a little is more than none."
Candle simply nodded and jumped down towards the sand, sliding a little in the deep sand as she sat down in the warm sand. Looking back up to Atashi, she suddenly got an idea, 'Why don't we search together, we both are lookin for something...'. She felt a little nervous for a no, but took a deep breath to control herself.
Tilting her head a bit to the side and pausing in step, she gazed upward towards the sun.
"I think that would be nice. To be able to search together for something we both want to find. Once my sisters return, we should go."
Remaining quite calm, she began to walk once more across the sand. The long ears of her hood dragged across the sand, causing the grains to shift beneath it.
Shifting slightly, she paused and looked back towards where the house was. Taking a breath, she signed and moved towards it, calling to Thor from her mind as she looked back to Atashi, 'It is getting late...'

((Takes place after the battle in Nowhere))
Alaynia had decided to come and greet her guardian at the place which the Deejarne had been told that the persocom had been showing off a new Deejarne. Ever curious in regards to those of her own kind, she decided to surprise Lizzy and show a bit of interest in regards.
Yet when she got to the place, all it seemed to be was an empty room. It was bland with only a couple of fold-out chairs and a table. Hoovering on in, she found nobody there to greet her, not even her guardian.
"...I couldn't have gotten lost... Lizzy was very specific..." a worried whisper escaped from within her delicate body. Flicking her vulpine ear in annoyance, it caused the two feathers clipped to her ear to dance.
Cloudless wandered into the room, hoping to find some sanctuary from his brother's meddling and constant foolery. Lifting up a delicate hand he pulled some of the brightly coloured confeti from his stark white hair, the deejarnee walked into the bland room.
He had his eyes on the floor, watching his white feathered feet slap against the stone when suddenly he ran into someone's legs. He stumbled a bit and then kept his head down, stiffening his body he began to stutter out apologies, I-I apologize He stammered uselessly.
Seeing as she was in the air, when she was so suddenly bumped into, she gently moved back in the air like a leaf boat in a stream. Lifting a brow at the other, Alaynia's ocean colored eyes glanced towards the other to see what he could have meant in regards to the action.
The markings upon his face reminded her of a sort of mask, seeming to be rather elegant. The contrast of the fur was nice as well, seeing as plain black and white was always a good combination. His hair was a bit longer than some of the others she had seen, but it was nowhere near as long as her own deep green hair.
"...for what reasons do you feel the need to apologize? I should have moved out of your way, seeing as you were a bit preoccupied..." the spirit Deejarne said in her very soft voice.
Keeping his gaze glued to the ground and his cheeks slightly flushing, the water deejarnee stood stiffly as thoughts raced through his head. Who did he bump into? Well, the obvious answer was a deejarnee or something that could fly. But his curiousity wanted to know exactly who. But that wasn't polite. Besides, he didn't want to seem foolish like his brother, River.
It was I who ran into you; Not you into me. I'm sorry. Cloudless stammered again. Then a thought hit him. Her...Her voice...Was beautiful. Like the wind blowing through the trees or the gentle water over a silent brook. Desire or curiousity, he didn't know which, built up in his chest and he bit his lip. He had to concentrate on the ground. Scanning the tile, he found a rather interesting crack with resembled lightning and he focused on it to empty the desire from his body.
Flicking her feather-clipped ear a bit so the pale fluff would dance once more, she tilted her head and sighed softly. Why did others of her kind have to be so easily startled?
"...perhaps instead of apologizing for something so simple, you should simply supply and introduction of sorts..." Lofting her nine tails up a bit, she guided them all to her lap and began to pet at the soft fur gently. Though she kept her fingers quite amused, her eyes remained upon the other's face. A steady gaze would greet the other's eyes if he happened to look up, which would have been the most polite thing to do in this situation.
Cloudless gulped, licking his lips as he nodded his head as if to answer her demand. Lifting his soft eyes of white and black he was surprised to see that she was already looking into his eyes. But what surprised him more was that she was a deejarnee and...He had to admit it...A beautiful one at that. For a heart stoping moment he starred back at her before he shook himself awake and answered her, straightening his back and making himself look almost soldier-like in a stiff pose, Forgive me for not introdocing myself earlier, m'lady. He said in his raspy voice, I am Cloudless, brother to River and adopted by Lady Storei. May I inquire as to what might your name be?
Managing to hide her internal giggles at the reaction she received, the spirit Deejarne returned the greeting, immitating the vast amount of formalities.
"...I am Alaynia, sister to Ansuz and dreamed up by LizzyMoo." Pausing here, she offered a tilt of the head and a soft (yet amused) smile to Cloudless. "It is a pleasure to meet you Cloudless."
Seeing as what she considered to be the "moment" as over, she glanced about the room silently, then asked in her same soft voice "...have you seen LizzyMoo by chance?"
Cloudless looked puzzled for a bit and then he looked around the room with a steady gaze, turning a bit to his left to glance about, I have not seen her about anywhere...Are you susposed to meet her here? He asked. A moment passed and he began to look around again, looking startled for a moment for he seemed not to see her in his righthand flank side. Where'd yo-Oh. He flushed again and turned back to Alaynia, his black and white eyes looking up at her apologetically.
Her mouth twisted from side to side as she thought about her guardian. "...I was hoping to surprise her... for she said she had some business to attend to here... yet... she is not here..."
A gentle sigh escaped her as she then seemed to come up with her own conclusion "...she might have gone to visit a friend or something I suppose..." Being so caught up within her own thoughts, she didn't hear the other's sudden panic of her own disappearance. Eventually she turned back to face him, casually flipping her hand through the feathers by her ear.
"...why is your face so pink...?"
Cloudless reached up an arm to scratch behind his neck and he gave a quircky shy smile, Pink? Then he thought to himself, 'Am I really that obvious?!'. In an attempt to explain things he replied, I thought you dissapeared for a moment, that's all.
Hoping to change the subject, he quickly blurted out, You're very beautiful. Inwardly he felt bricked by himself as he gawked at the mistake he just made. Now THAT was obvious.
Still not noticing the eye with a milky film over it, she blinked and pulled her head back a bit. "I don't think there is even a Deejarne out there that can simply vanish...?" was her humored response as she allow a slight whispered giggle to play with her voice.
Yet when the other so bluntly stated what she considered the obvious, she said in a very warm tone "...I know..." It was strange how she could have said such a cold and uncaring statement so warmly, but it was apparent there was no surprise from the statement. Afterall, one could not consider Alaynia to be modest in regards of any sort of beauty.

Though she had been in this place before, a rather young looking dream with a pale lavendar dress and rabbit hood wandered in with a half daze. She almost seemed to be in a trance as she walked in, and her soft child-like voice spoke words she had never spoken or thought about until that very moment.
One day I went to a new city. They are in this city, too There is no place without them, anymore. The people are with them There are as many of them as there are people But... There is only one person just for me... ...and I still have not found him.
Her eyes gazed up as if there was someone immediately in front of her. As if instructed to do so, she lifted her right paw upward.
You are a person, aren't you? What was that? I should do what with my hand? Hold it out?
Once more anew, the dream began to wander about the room, ignoring anyone or thing which might have been watching. It was her story, and nothing could change that.
Where are you taking me? Is this your house? Why did you bring me here? Are you... ...the person just for me? You might be... but... Perhaps this person only brought me here... ...because I'm one of them. Maybe he's just like everyone else. Maybe he just wants me to grant his wishes. But there is one wish that I can't grant. If I grant that wish. ...I would... ...have to say goodbye forever to the someone just for me.
Upon the couch, a pair of dark eyes gazed out towards the wandering dream, a scarf floating as if a breeze was flitering around them, though there was none. Candle just watched the only one she called a friend, her eyes haunting as she studied the dream's words, slowly picking through them though no noise was made. Her furr tingled as she saw hints of desire flash through the tones, and she seemed to just wave her tail as she waited for Atashi to notice her.
It had been rather quite at the shop today, and Aiao was particularly happy to get away from home for a moment; it was always too loud for him to take a nice nap. He was cursed as a light sleeper, as it was, in a family of rambunctious Dreams. The Castaway shop had been an ideal place for him to rest for a while, curled up with his tattered scarf wrapped around him. That is, until another Dream padded quietly in. He wasn't, at first, quite sure what had woken him up, or if anything was there at all. But as he blinked slightly, another form came slowly into focus. Another Dream, wearing a pale dress and very large, rabbit-like ears.
Curiosity piqued, Aiao sat up, watching as the Dream whispered softly to herself, walking throught the room as if in a trance. There was something familiar, something about her aura that he couldnt place right away. Another Yudou, perhaps? He wasn't sure he wanted to disturb her; there was something powerfully binding about the whole scene, something that held his focus, like an aftereffect of the other's powers.
In a near mournful manner, the dreams head bowed down, closing her eyes and forcing her to no longer see what was going on about her.
"...I don't want to have to say goodbye... not forever..." she said softly. She remained silent for a bit longer before raising her head back to its usual place and opening her brown eyes so that they could stare at the world once more. Looking about her with a sudden new awareness, the dream found herself somewhere she had been before, but it had not been where she started originally.
"...why... am I here?" she asked aloud, still not aware of the other who was so carefully watching her.
Keeping silent, Candle suddenly shot her eyes towards Aiao and her hair raised upon her back. This new dream was something she did not expect, and right away she seemed to just turn her head away, leaving Atashi to discover her feelings for the time being. She really was not at all confertable with the idea of meeting another dream, this one seemingly male, and she just shook her head slowly, her scarf bellowing and her beads jingling from around her neck.
Aiao blinked at the softly uttered words. She didn't remember? It seemed as though her trance-like state had worn off, leaving her her in confusion.
"Why are any of us here...?" came his quiet words, speaking almost to himself. A slight jingle caught his attention, and his eyes flicked to the sound. Another Dream, this one bearing the same aura as the other, and himself. Not quite sure what to make of them, he merely nodded. "Hello."
With a rather sudden awareness of her surroundings, it was long after that she became aware of the other dreams which were watching her. Though many would have been embarrassed by such a thing, with the eyes of others upon them, Atashi felt no shame of any sort.
To the foreign dream, she tilted her head as he initially asked his soft question, and returned with the child-like response "...it varies for each person..."
To her friend first, she nodded her head and greeted with a simple "Hello." Then to the nameless other, she also greeted him in a similar manner. "Hello."
Candle looked towards Atashi with a nod, now her scarf was covering her mouth so no one could tell weather it was her speaking or her mind. Looking over to the new dream, she just blinked at him and tilted her head before she jumped and landed, her paws soft against the floor. Tail out and waving, she felt her beads clank against eachother as her scarf did not touch the floor.
Grey eyes regarded the others with a contemplative look. The child-like dream had put forth a good point. But to him, being torn between instinct and honour was not a life he fancied much. He was the Yudou of Theft: he stole things, or at least, he would, if his morals would let him. To find a purpose in his divided mind would be nice indeed.
Shaking off the somber thought, he noted curiously that the other Dream refused to speak. Giving them both a nod, he curled his tail around himself and gave his name.
"I am Aiao."
"I am Atashi, and this is Candle."
It was rather simply stated, like reciting facts in school to please the teacher. Seating her haunches down, the dream began to sway gently to and fro, causing the rather ornamental crown upon her head to shift lightly. Practically seeming to forget the company she was in, she spoke gently to herself "...last time I remembered... I was here... this time when I remembered... I was here... perhaps next time I come here... I will remember more..."
Candle moved to sit next to Atashi, looking towards Aiao with a dark gaze before nodding slowly, speaking into the air, 'Yes, I am called Candle...'. Her voice was hollow sounding as if she were still trying to search for something, and horse as if she hasnt said anything in the past days. Lying down, her ears flatened against her head as her eyes seemed to become lidded, just watching him over her scarf.
Aiao was a little surprised at he rough, almost coarse quality to Candle's voice. It sounded like she hadn't spoken in quite a while, or was unused to it at all. Cocking his head at the other, he ran a paw through tattered black fabric unconciously, hideing the fact that he was studing the other. It was an odd feeling: he'd never met someone like himself before. At least, he presumed the blue Dream was a Yudou.
"Not meaning to pry, but you are a Yudou, correct?"
Nodding, Candle assumed that this other creature had no idea she had used Whisp-speak to communicate a moment before, and thanked her scarf for the advantage she suddenly had. Tilting her head slowly, she blinked at him and spoke once more in her unique way, 'Yudou is what I am called, my domain is Desire...I hope it is right for me to assume you have one too?'. She blinked and took note he had the same scarf she had, only his seemed to curl around more.
A small smile worked it's way onto the yellow Dream's face, though if one was observant enough, they'd notice the slight tinge of bitterness to it. Casting a wistful glance towards the celing, he nodded.
"Mm, yes, I am too. Theft is the Domian I preside over, though stealth works under that a bit also."
She watched him before she seemed to narrow her eyes, her fur fluffing out as her tail swung back and forth. Moving to circle him once, she stopped and seemed content with something. 'You dislike your domain...you desire something more suitable to your personality do you not?'. She watched him for a response.
He watched as the other circled him slowly, with an almost calculating look. He felt rather like he was being laid open, his secrets revealed. It was almost disconcerting. At her statement, though, only a shred of willpower kept him from drawing back in surprise. He thought for a moment, before looking up.
"Not quite. I am quite happy with my domain; It's merely my morals and my honour that give me trouble. After all," he gave a humorless chuckle. "How can one become truly in touch with their domain if their morals prevent them from doing so?"
"...Yu....dou...? Is that what makes me special? Is that what makes Candle special? Is that what makes Aiao special?" The rabbit-earred dream blinked with rather wide brown eyes, not quite understanding the conversation which was going on, yet somehow understanding the meaning. Her guardian had told her she was special, and even Candle had hinted at it the last time they spoke. However, now Atashi wanted to know something: Why was she special?
Candle turned and let out a nod, moving away from Aiao and pushing down her scarf, showing her mouth though showing no words came out, 'Even without being a Yudou, we are all special, unique...' She smiled softly, and turned to gaze towards Aiao, not really sure she wanted him to say more to Atashi. Though she had no control over the situation, so she simply moved to sit against the couch, watching.
Aiao nodded, solemn mood dissappearing in the face of Atashi's child-like question. He smiled, curled his carf a little tighter around him, and settled a bit.
"Candle is correct. Just because we are different, does not make anyone better or worse than us." Mentally, he winced, hoping that the other didn't think he was treating her like a child.
She tilted her head at the explanations, more so at the one Aiao provided. Her eyes still remained quite curious, for it seemed that this yellow dream had assumed something of her which she had no intent.
Standing her hind legs up, the child-like dream toddled over to her muted friend and rubbed her cheek against the other. In a soft whisper, she asked innocently "...did Candle find what was special to her? What she wanted to find last time...?"
Candle seemed to close her eye on the contact, but said nothing for a moment before sloftly rubbing back in a friendly gesture, her eye opening as she looked towards Atashi and spoke softly 'I found something...though I feel as if it is not what I am looking for...you see, all yudou have their own domains, as I told you before. I discovered mine...though it was in front of me this whole time. It was what I desired...desire itself...I am the yudou of desire...' Her eyes gazed towards her as she looked sadly away after a moment, 'Though I am not sure when I will ever find what I am looking for, because I do not know what it is I search...' She sighed and moved to sit.
Only somewhat satisfied with the answer she received, Atashi asked softly "...domain... desire...? Does that mean that you will still come with me to Nowhere to look for my special someone just for me? Or does that mean I shall have to keep searching alone?" Her own eyes seemed to hold a momentary sadness to them as they lowered themselves towards the ground. It would have almost seemed as if this child-like yudou had forgotten all about the third party, but she had not forgotten at all. She had a memory which was sharp as a tac. The bunny-earred dream had a question for the yellow dream, but she wanted more than anything an answer to her rather urgent question.
Candle seemed to still for a moment, before she returned the gesture from earlier, rubbing her cheek against Atashi's in an attempt to cheer her up, 'I shall still search for you, for I still must search for my special someone...we will search together...' She glanced towards Aiao before pulling away to just sit there, gazing at them both with her silent aura, wondering what to say to the newcomer.
Though Candle didn't know what to say to Aiao, Atashi seemed to think she did. Padding up with certain feet which didn't even tangle with the long draping ears which dragged behind her, she stopped in front of the Yudou of Thievery and looked into his grey eyes with her deep brown ones.
"...have you found what is most dear to you? Do you have a special someone who is just for you...?"
Yes, Atashi did like to ask that question a lot.
Candle just stood there watching with a sort of annoyed look, before she turned her head away to pad away towards the couch. Jumping up to the large pillow, she curled down and around to lie there, her eyes open and gazing over towards the two as she waited for the yudou male's response, her tail waving back and forth as her eyes slowly closed.
Aiao had been watching the conversation with a passive intrest, noting the somewhat annoyed look Candle had before Atashi stepped up to him. At her posed question, though, he frowned thoughtfully.
"Most dear to me...? My family would be closest, I suppose....No, I don't believe I have yet. But I'll keep searching."
Blinking quite a few times, a small smile lit upon Atashi's maw when the other told her he would continue his search. "...do not give up on your search..." she offered cheerfully as her head politely bowed down. Feeling a bit more comfortable with her friend than with a stranger, the rabbit-earred dream toddled over to the couch Candle was residing at. In a determined fashion, she began to crawl up the side of the couch, not seeming to realize it would be much easier to jump onto the thing. Eventually, she made it to her desired destination, which was at the side of the Desire Yudou. Curling up a bit next to her, she didn't even seem to notice the other had been slightly annoyed by her question.
Candle watched with a wide-eyed gaze as Atashi seemed to just crawl up the couch, and was too stunned at the fashion in which she was going to even realize she could have helped. Mouth dropping underneath her cloak, she just blinked once as the bunny-eared yudou finally made it and moved to her side, curling into her like a younger sibling would. Her gaze softening, she simple seemed to have a shine that was like a smile, and she moved a bit to let the smaller one have some more room to curl close and be confertable, glancing over towards Aiao with a silent, accepting gaze.
"...if I remember more, I might forget..." Atashi said softly as she let her eyes close. A small squeaking yawn escaped her as her face burrowed into her friend's side.
Candle seemed to let out a soft pur, the only noise she had ever made, and just moved closer towards Atashi, her voice soft like a whipser in ones ear, though that would never be so, 'You have remembered everything this far...' She said soothingly, and left it at that as she looked off towards the door in a daze-like state.
Shaking her head from side to side, the child-like creature nearly whimpered "...I've forgotten so much... I've remembered so much... I want to remain myself... but I can't stop it from happening..." Her small body trembled lightly as if afraid, but she shortly stopped such a thing from happening.
Candle watched with a confused gaze as her friend started to shake, and moved in the gently nuzzle her, hoping it would help her realize she had herself as well as that new dream as friends, 'With your friends around you to remember who you are, if you do start to lose yourself, you can always come to us, and help find your strength once again. I will always be here to help you search for whatever desire you wish to obtain....
Remaining silent, Atashi nestled a bit into the other before she truly began to nap. She would have almost seemed like a plush animal if it weren't for the soft rise and fall of her form from her soft breathing.
Watching the small dream slumber, Candle turned her gaze to Aiao, and spoke in a soft sort of breeze that swept through the room, 'Why do you think they try us so? They put us through so many challenges...just because we are the chosen ones...or is it because they expect us to succeed and find more out of these...?' she knew it was a riddle, and the question made no sence, but she really had nothing else but that small muse going through her head.
Aiao smiled at Atashi's words, and returned Candle's accepting look with a nod. His listened quietly as they talked, before looking out one of the windows and realising, with a shock, that he had to get back home. Turning back to them, he bowed a little, before looking back up.
"I'm afraid I must be going. It was a pleasure meeting you both." he said, a tad regretfully, before padding silently out of the shop.
Candle watched him go before turning to her friend who was slumbering, and sadly moved to stand. Making sure she was not noticed, she left a small trace of a 'goodbye for now' through Atashi's dreams before jumping down and moving to head home as well.
