Luna Eclipse reggie _chan No what the ******** they are messing with horror. Why would the censor horror isn’t it all bad and evil in there eyes. Really my escape from the stupidity of realty and they have to attack it. No I am sorry no. This is all out war now. Censer ship on a chanell you have to apy for. Those basterds. Your tellin' me. I love the horror genre. I've been fed heaping helpings of horror ever since I was five years old thanks to my dad and his love of the Friday the 13th, Halloween and Nightmare on Elmstreet films (much to my mother's chagrin), and I feel that horror is supposed to scare, disgust and disturb you. That's exactly what Miike intended to do with "Imprint", and I don't like the idea that Showtime's horror-loving customers are shelling out good money so their favorite shows can be censored. Thankfully, the episode will be available on dvd, but it's still not right. Oni-Angel: I went out and rented 3 Extremes, and was thouroughly impressed with "Dumplings." Does the fact that I was getting hungry while watching that woman eat the fetus-filled dumplings make me a bad person? sweatdrop I am an elm street nerd I have a freddy cotume in my closet. Mt dumplings. And no it doesnt

Does the fact that I was getting hungry while watching that woman eat the fetus-filled dumplings make me a bad person? sweatdrop Mmm, I always get hungry at that part. The part that really weirded me out was watching that young girl getting the illegal abortion, and the part where she bleeds out later. It was actually pretty "realistic" considering some of the other "unrealistic" abortion scenes. I LOVE potstickers. MMMM.....

What was up with the DIY abortion scene where the woman licks up the orange slime oozing out of her mouth with a super long tongue? I didn't get it... I had assumed it was meant to symbolize her losing her humanity or something, or am I just reading too much into it?

I watched it. That has to be the most disgusting movie I've ever seen. I'm surprised I hadn't heard of it before. I can see why those people wanted it banned. However, I found the woman's birthing scene and the torture even more disgusting.
I have the see the one where the woman eats a child. I also want to see Ichi The Killer. Looks good.

Yeah, I thought so too. That part where that woman was sticking the pins in Komomo's gums and under her thumbnails was far more gruesome than the fetus-filled bucket at the end. And the one episode where the monster woman eats a child is entitled "Jenifer"-that's on youtube as well. If you click on the link for the first part of "Imprint" and look at the list on the right of other submissions, "Jenifer" should be there. That was pretty interesting. As for Ichi...I wasn't impressed. There was alot of blood and gore, but the story was somewhat lacking, I thought. I think the problem with Miike is that his movies are 90% ultra violence and 10% storyline. Although, that can be seen as a good thing sometimes. blaugh

I enjoyed the movie a lot better once the manga explained a lot of things. It is, however, VERY gory and violent, so read at your own risk.

Well, we all know that if something's gross it's definitely bad. Plus we live in the world of gumdrops and candy canes where nothing bad happens and anything that isn't about sunshine and flowers is unnecessary. That's why we as a society expressly forbid any kind of surgery(even the life-saving ones), childbirth or even sex in general. Eww, gross! xp

Unfortunately they spent all their budget on his outfit and the first couple of gore scenes. I love Audition... it's just bizarre. The part when she's sitting listening to the phone ring... with the bag in the background and BAM! Makes everyopne jump that I make watched it. Quite a few of my firends have wretched during the scene wheer she feeds her "pet" Trite~Elegy Off topic question:

[offtopic] I read a review on Ichi the Killer, complete with pictures of the more memorable scenes. i-Mockery.com delivers. It even had the part when Ichi cut his tounge off. Once I find the damn review again, I'll send it to ya if you want. [/offtopic] It's tempting to click on that link...

I'm trying to watch it but I keep getting interrupted. D: My parents would surely not approve, so I need to be stealthy and pause it and go to something else whenever I think someone could come in. >< Kinda like porn.

I managed to read the entire Battle Royale manga series, so I think I'll be alright. I'm tellin' ya, I got a stomach made of iron. As for Jenifer, I could've sworn I saw it listed on youtube.com. I just did a search for it, and for some reason there's only a minute and a half clip for it. Ah well, you could always just rent the dvd. I love Audition, too. I also recommend A Tale of Two Sisters. It's a Korean film based on a fairy tale, and it's a very bizarre movie about two sisters who move with their father and stepmother to some secluded mansion in the middle of nowhere after suffering from some unnamed ailment. It's not gory like Audition, but it is a real mind ********. You really have to pay attention to understand what's going on.
