On X chuckled, nipping lightly back at the smaller wild dog, while Koin looked back at his troubled friend.
"You seemed stressed. Of course I can read you..." Koin stated.
Koin listened to her sigh, and flinched a little, not liking his friend sounding so stressed and upset in a way.
"Voices?" Koin asked. "You're fawns?"
"They won't take them... I won't allow them to. I'll stay with you if you want me to..." he said.
X chuckled. "I guess she does..." X whispered back.

Chachili smiled.
"Don't, Koin. You have a life, too. And, I've noticed... a scent of another wild dog around you?" she sniffed, and turned her focus back to Koin, "Are you seeing someone?"
She grinned, and tried to shake away her worries. Even if she had told Koin her worries... she couldn't get him involved. Something told Chachili, deep inside her bones, that the things she were hearing were to bring dangerous times.
Very dangerous times.
Jibanza, on the other hand, looked to X.
"Ah, adult conversation," she moaned, rolling her eyes, "Boring. I liked it when the prey animal got all angsty, though. But now..."
Her shoulders sagged. The day was beginning to get boring. There was no adventure in just... talking to two adults. She gestured for X to follow her.
"Hey, look... over there..." she pointed her muzzle to a creature nearby.
Scorpion.
"Think we can bring it down?" she grinned. Her mother had told her not to try anything with scorpions before, but Jibanza found herself wanting to provoke it... and fate, too.

Koin averted his eyes again. "Seems you've gotten better with your nose..." Koin said. "But yes, I have a mate," Koin said.
Koin could tell she was trying to change the subject though, so he didn't push the matter.
X chuckled and shook his head lightly.
"It looks dangorous..." X said, eying the stinger on the scorpian.

"...Which is all the more reason to provoke it," Jibanza grinned, clearly wanting to 'impress' On X. She neared closer to the bug, and slowly crept up to it. She was just about to pounce, when a voice stopped her.
"Didn't your mother ever tell you that scorpions were dangerous?"
Jibanza whirled around. Chachili frowned down at her. The little wild dog, disgruntled, gave a brief shrug.
"You're always raining on my parade, aren't you?" she grumbled.
Chachili sighed, then nodded, turning her nose to the sky.
"It's getting late," she said, "The daylight will end, soon. Do your parents know that you're out?"
Jibanza said nothing. She knew that On X was by himself.
"It doesn't matter what parents think," she growled, and brushed up next to her friend, "I'm with On X now, and nothing bad can happen when we're looking out for eachother! Don't you... uh, agree, X?" she licked his muzzle.
Chachili flicked an ear, and sighed. She didn't really care. They weren't her children, anyway. She turned to Koin, and looked at him. He seemed to be... embarrassed, perhaps?
"Is your mate... good to you, Koin?"
She smiled.
"I'd like to meet her someday. I'll need to see whether she's worthy of such a fine, strong wild dog like yourself!"

X sighed, silently thanking Chachili in his head. He glanced at Chachili to thank her.
"Its good that you didn't pounce it..." Koin said. "It was already ready for you..." He gave a light smile as he watched the insect skitter away.
X shot Koin a glance as well, with a light glare that he didn't say anything before.
X nuzzled Ban a little when she licked his maw. "That's right."
Koin chucked again at their reaction before his ear flicked as he heard the Klipsringer sigh.
Koin nodded after listening to Chachili. "Yes, she is," He smiled.
"I'm not that fine, or strong," Koin said with a smile, doubting himself once again.

Chachili smiled at him.
"I'm sure you are, Koin," she winked, "You may not see yourself that way, but I can tell you, as a different person... you're as fine and strong as any wild dog I've ever met!"
And Chachili had met a few. But to her, Koin seemed the strongest... physically, and in heart, too. She paused, wanting to hear more of this... female wild dog.
"Her name, then?" she asked, grinning, "She has to be good to you, you know!"
Jibanza gagged. She was still young, and talk of 'mates' kind of urked her. It was a kind of 'eewww', grown-up thing. The little dog was obviously still a puppy.
She looked to the sky. As Chachili had already pointed out, it was almost sun-down. She'd need to return to the pack-lands, soon...

Smirking, Koin answered his friend. "If you say so, Chachili," he told her.
Though he was a bit strong. Or so he belived he was only a little strong, he still beleived he could get stronger then he was and is.
"Her names Delu'Elon," Koin said with a smile.
On X chuckled, watching Ban's reaction. He looked up to the sky as well. "You should go. You might get in trouble to be with us..." X said to the earth colored wild dog. "I'll walk with you, if you'd like."

Jibanza grinned back at him.
"Ah, you read my mind, X!" she snorted, brushing up against him, then rearing playfully on her front legs, "My pack is going to kill me if I don't go home before sunset. Since they still see me as just a pup... but I'm a responsible, strong pup! And plus, I'm with you. What could go wrong?"
She paused, then her eyes glittered.
"Maybe you could come and meet my family one day. I'm sure they'd receive you well... except, my brothers are a little rowdy sometimes."
She winked, then stretched. Her muscles flexed as she did so, getting ready for the long run home.
"Well, ready ta' go?" she jumped around a little, getting warmed up.

" Delu'Elon, huh?" Chachili laughed, edging closer to Koin to take in the stranger's scent. It seemed unfamiliar, but it smelt alright. She'd get used to sniffing it on Koin, eventually.
"Well, I guess she sounds alright. So you're going to become a father after all, eh?" she smirked, chuckling a little, "Is that right?"
The thought of little Koins running around delighted her, and she particually wanted just to see if Koin would blush.
"Whether you do or don't," she sighed, "Be happy, okay? Live a good life. I don't know whether I'll be around to see you much longer, since there are... things in the future that may keep me busy," she shuffled uncomfortably, looking anxious, "But I'll try my best to catch up with you from time to time."

On X grinned. "Of Course," he said with a smile.
"I'll get you home safely," On X said. "I doubt they'll actually kill you, probably just restrain you till your an adult," X said Grinning, as he teased his friend again.
"Your family probably wont like me. I'm a hyena, and as you could tell from what happened here today, they'll probably know about that..." X said, a bit nervously, but still willing to meet Ban's family.
X streched his back out a little and his head hung low, like all hyenas.
"Yeah, I'm ready," he said, getting ready to race the female as far as it took to get her home.

"Yeah," he said. He was used to Chachili, and anyone else he met, sniffing him. So he really didn't mind.
"Yeah..." He said, with a light smile. "I'm nervous though...."
He had a light blush though, adverting his eyes slightly again.
"I'll be happy..." he said. "But I'll still be worried about you..." He said. "I don't really want to lose a dear friend. I'll try and find you again..."
He raised his paw up to place it on Chachili's head. "Of course," he said smiling at her. "I promised that if I became a father, you'd see my pups. And I want to keep that promise..."

Jibanza grinned, and laughed out loud.
"True, true... but by then, I'd have left for the Jungle, anyway. So they wouldn't get the chance to actually put an end to my life."
She gave a nod, and then, starting padding forward.
"One day, you should meet them, X..." she said, eyes glittering, "My Mum isn't like that irritable prey animal we met back there. She's... well, she knows better than that. I know she does."
She ran on alongside X, until she pulled up. The packlands were only a little further on.
"Let's meet again, X!" she nodded, "Hey, if we can't get to the Jungle that quickly, we can always... well, go somewhere else! Until we're old enough. We should try somewhere new... like the waterhole, sometime!"
The little earthly wild-dog licked X's muzzle, and then wagged her tail.
"I'll see you again soon, X," she smiled, and then tore off.
She'd had fun today...

Chachili's eyes softened. Koin was to become a parent. She could feel it in the air, and she could tell by Koin's expression that he was, surely, thinking about pups.
"When they come, Koin, I'd love to see them," she said, softly, "I'd even love for Kukuru and Makuu to meet them, too. Because, you know..." she looked up, "... I... like talking to you. And they might, too. Klipspringers and wild-dogs, you know?"
She sighed, then laughed.
"I don't really know what I'm actually going on about..."
In truth, she felt a little... jealous. Koin was to become a father. Koin had a mate. And Chachili... well, her mate was not here for her.
She shook her head. Now was not the time to be angsty. She should feel happy for Koin... he had a new partner, a new mate. She flinched, suddenly, and awakened from her thoughts as Koin placed a paw on her forehead. It was warm, and soft.
"Koin..." she sighed, looking sad, but then broke into a grin, "Then, I promise. Nothing will keep me from meeting you again. Nothing. And when this... 'thing' is all over, I'll drop around for many visits."
She paused.
"I hate to be sappy," she said, "But I enjoy your company, Koin. And so... I'll definetely meet your pups, when you have them!"
She straightened, and puffed out her chest proudly.
"Definetely!"

"We can travel anywhere and everywhere," X said, with a light grin. He said as he started foreward at a slow pace at first.
He kept his pace matched with Ban's.
"I'm willing," he said to her. "To meet your family, I mean." he said. He really didn't mind.
"We'll meet again. Sometime." he said, feeling her lick his maw once again, he returned the jesture. "See you..." he said, heading off in his own direction.

Koin titled his head lightly, then nodded.
"They probably would enjoy the company ..." he said, as she spoke of her fawns.
"You better not. I'll hunt you down if you don't visit me," he said, rather jokingly.
He nodded, with a light chuckle.
"I enjoy your company as well, Chachili," he said. A light smile played his features.
When Chachili cheered up slightly, Koin Grinned. "hat's the spirit," he said after she spoke.
