Arith had stuck nearer the edge, glancing out every window he passed by, and noticing that on the oute tubes windows had been placed on the tops too, where they could.He sat down below one adn looked through it, jumping in excitement, and nearly braining himself on the roof of the tube, when he saw something pass by a window on a tube higher up.He quickly glanced around before continuong to crawl, looking for a way up, and he found it.There was a sort of net made of thich black material that Arith didnt know of, and it smelled a bit funny too, but he didn't care.He started to make his may clumsely across and up it, as it slanted slightly(though if one were ro roll down it they would safely hit a padded wall) to the upwards going tube at its end.Now being a dog he had their akwardness on things like this, though it could have been just him, but he made hs way every clumsily across it.when he finally made it across it, and was happy he had as it didn't like the net too much, me hurried up the tube to continue his search for Delta.



"Bah, i'll never be senile. I'll be one of them old people that will drop water balloons full of peptobismal on your head form a window."The picking on never bothered her a bit, being she had other family members that did it jokingly as well, and friends."Heh, well you don't have to belive me, since I really have no proof to show. but just wait till you get to see all them eggs. I hear when the eggs hatch though, you take them home. Im hoping if its true the dragon won't pick up Arith's digging habit."She sipped her coffe as well, looking over to see a couple bodies darting past small windows.

Arith's ears perked up when he heard the screaming.He paused for a moment, turning his hhead to figure out exactly where it was coming from, as all the tunels and such made it slightly confusing.When he thought he figured it out he crawled hurridly in the direction, moving a bit faster on his hands and feet as he raised up a bit off his knees."I comin'!"He glanced out a window and saw something, and assuming it was Delta, since he had seen neither hide nor hair of anyone else, he turned down that tunnel.As he did he saw it was indeed the small dog girl.Noticing she seemed very close to falling he took a few more hurried steps before throging himself forward, landing on his side and grabbing ahold of one of her ankles."I gotcha!"He quickly pulled her up, grabbing an arm when he could to sit her upright, and even after he watched closely to make sure she didn't just lean over and then fall."You okay?"


"Meh, you wouldn't be worth many point."Mia have a half smile then chuckled, pulling apart and eating her own banana-nut muffin.With a blink she looked up at the question, swallowing before she answered,"Well I would think it depends on the dragon, but I don't think these would, or they wouldn't be giving them to us. What good is giving a small child to someone if their dragon is just going to eat the parent?"She gave a nod as if she knew exactly what she was tlaking about then returned to her muffin.

Arith blinked then looked down the slide."Uhhh, oh!"He pulled the stuffed soccer ball from his pocket, holding it out as it sort of inflated after being squiched in his pocket.He smiled and let it roll down the slide."There, now Mr.Woolsbie won' be lonely."He blinked at her sudden change in mood, from hugging his arm in saddnes to being sort of pouty from being caught.When Delta started to count he chuckled and crawled off, making his way back to that dreaded net and rolling down adn across it.Arith hit the padding with a small thump then rolled back up ad crawled through the tube torwards the other side.

"Well why wouldn't you want to eat this."she struck a pose adn fluttered her eyelashes before chuckling."Yeah, I havn't been here before either, i never really noticed it before either, though just this mufifn alone is makin me wana come here every day."She had finished her first muffin and was now starting on a second that had just been brought.

Mia stuck her tongue out at Moon in a rather childish way before chuckling.She looked over, seeing the tail as well before it dissapeared from the window, only to show up a moment later in another, and Arith darting past another window."Heh, it looks like that are. Yes, ohhh to be young and able to fit inside the tunnels again."

Arith raced through the tunnels till he came to what looked like a small room.It was kind or square, though roundish, and stick out from the tube wth a window on all of the other three sides.He looked out the side one and a movement caught his eye.He scooted back and pushed himself against the small wall part that went out, just as you entered, to try and hide.

Mia nodded."Yeah.."

Arith clapped a hand over his mouth to keep himself from giggling as Delta walked past.He thuoght about darting out and making a run for it, but just as he was deciding Delta turned.He pulled his head back, a hand still over his mouth, as he waited for her to leave.He turned his head slightly, ears twitching to catch any noise that she was gone, and just as he was about to look out a body landed on him.Arith's hand came off his mouth and he started go giggle."Awwrr, you found me, now im it."He sat up, inching out and around to where the window was.with a wagging tail he turned to face the window and started countin."One, two..uhh..free? four..."

"Uhh..eleventy."Arith removed his hands from his eyes and looked around, wondinring which way Delta had gone before he made his way out of the small room.Hi stopped just ouside it and looked down one way then the other, ears twitching for any sounds, though he heard none.Duh, he could sniff her out!Afterall his nose seemed to be very good at finding things too.He plopped down and lifted his nose and sniffef the air.there were other smells, though they were getting dim, but two stood out, that of him and Delta.He got back up and moved one way crawled down the tunned, his mouth curved in a large grin as his tongue stuck out, looking even more like a playing dog.He hurried down the tunnel untill he reached the slid, which he recognized as the one Delta had almost fallen down.His brow furrowed in confusion.Why would she go down there when she had so scared of going down before?He plopped down again, toes woggling infront of him as he tried to figure it out, though his head started to hurt.too much thinking.He got up and crawled away from the tunnel torwards the grey net, though he turned the other way into a new tunnel that went upwards.

"A'ight, I hsould be getting home soon too."Mia looked at her watch, shook it a couple times, then frowned before looking at a clock mounted on the wall.She stood and made her way into the play-area, holding the door and saying her own goodbye as Moon left.

Arith stopped at a window, just by a slide that was a bit higher up, when he noticed Delta's mom-lady coming into the room.He leaned forward and pressed his nose against the window, seeing her scoop a sleeping Delta out of a ball pit.He leaned back a bit and waved bye to her as she left, ears drooping a bit seeing his new friend leaving.Arith left the window and dove head first down the slide, not even thinking about what might be at the bottom.He shot out and hit a pad in a roll, stopping on his back and laughing.

"Arith, time for us to go too."Mia called to him from the door, one foot against it to keep it open.

Arith hurried around the pit and pushed the net flaps out of the way, glancing about till he spotted the small ball.He grabbed it up and hurried over to Mia."Okay."

Mia took his hand, not wanting him to wander off to any more tabled, and exited the coffee shop, turning down the sidewalk to head home.
