gonk In order to really make them stick, I have to learn them one by one and repeat them several times. I'm still going ahead with them, it's just sort of slow going with me.
Thanks for the sites though.

But then I forget a lot or I'll confuse them with each other. O.o And then I have to unlearn them and re-learn them again which is even harder than learning them just one by one.
I'm weird like that. At least I don't forget even when I take them one at a time.

Debunked? Anyway, schools here in the U.S. are lax and it's a pattern here that the Asian kids are smart. (I went to this Math competition for the state and like most of the kids there were Asian...) And hey, I'm still 13. (I want to learn several different languages, and I've heard they stick better when you're a kid so I'm starting early wink .)

I suppose the whole stupid school thing is one down side of being what they call 'Democratic'. It's really not a very smart thing to do. If the schools are 'too harsh' or something, parents can intervene, and there are quite a few parents, so I've seen, who side with the kid and only the kid, so our schools can never get that good. Don't blame us, blame the government. I'd live in Japan or Korea if I could.

Aiko_589 japan is democratic stare Yeah, but the US boasts about it more (not good -.-) and we sort of use it as a reason to be lazy about things like schools. Japan actually gets things done. That's the difference.

(teavher that taught me english at north america disgust me at how close they get there students)

もの・もん
is a feminine way of expressing dissatisfaction, or angry explaining:
あたしが、ケーキを食べたもんよ!
I ATE THE CAKE, GEEZ/SO THERE
こりゃ食べ物じゃない、くそもの
this is not food it is crap.

Sometimes its nice to look up to them as like a sort of mother/father figure, and its fun to joke sometimes. But that depends on what your definition of 'close' is. There have been issues of teachers having relationships with students in the past. Probably will in the future too. Sometimes it's nice to just sort of be free, and it's not really 'rude' in America because we're all used to it. There ARE a lot of authority problems though. Like kids who do the stupidest things when asked a simple request from adults.

ぞ
incdicate coomand, threat, very strong male version of よ

Emphaszie self encourage ment:
