[Bitchy McBitch] Sister Daedra I personally think Chinese astrology is a bunch of crap. Most people math up perfectly with quite a few Chinese zodiac signs. Don't know much about other kinds of astrology though. Me too. It basically says that everyone born in the same year is the same sign, and if you look around, there is just too much of a variety. confused
My chinese sign doesn't suit me at all. Exactly and this is why I dont believe in the fake bullshit of chinese astrology as well. I like the western version of astrology so much better and its much more accurate then the chinese one. talk2hand

I would like to learn more about the zodiac from ofther cultures around the world... I know western and sorta eastern... I'm a fire tiger/pisces.

I know Eastern and Western, but not much else. I don't know Verdic or Celtic. I also don't know the deal with numerology and I do like colorology.
I'm an Earth Taurean Monkey. I don't agree with the last part. Take the personality from monkey, ditch the animal itself. I personally believe I do NOT have a personality as that of a monkey. Some things I am, some things I'm not. Oh, my moon sign is a Sagittarius. I think that sounded a little...preppy in a way. Please tell me it doesn't... sweatdrop

I don't know anything other than westernastrology..and the chinese birth signs..but it would be nice to know information about other types of astrology.

actually, i think they all have some universal astrology form. Even if you do have contradictory signs, than that means it just adds to the complexity of your personalities and emotions.

In my own experience, I believe that no matter which astrology you choose to study, it is comparable. For example, I'm into wastern astrology but my boyfriend's mom is into chinese astrology. But our interpretations of my boyfriend's character and our relationship remain fundamentally the same. So no matter which astrology system you choose to use, you may reach about the same conclusion.
In fact, I have a book whose author had investigated nearly all types of astrology systems (due to a personal curiousity) and found that they all tell almost the same thing. The book is "The Complete Astrological Handbook for the Twenty-First Century" and the systems described are of course western followed by judaic, arabian parts, vedic, tibetan and chinese.
For those who have said chinese astrology is crap, I suggest you learn something about it before you make such a sweeping statement although it is a very common mistake to make.
