FallenMercury "He should have, yes," she said with a smile. "But I know Kiwi. He's been my best friend for... well, for quite a while. He wouldn't leave without a good reason. And besides, maybe he wasn't that far off, and is looking for me now." She chuckled, though the idea was unsettling. What if he was back at the jungle, wondering where she had gone?
Shaking the thought off, she mused, "Even if I don't find him in the Pridelands, at least I can say I've visited someplace new."

Safaia Well, if Lele thought so, Nyota didn't want to push it. Perhaps Nyota was just too negative about males, and other lions in general. She pushed it off with a mental shrug, and decided to being up the fact to where they were.
"Well, we are in the direction of the pridelands...." She paused, gave off a small sigh, and continued. "So if you do your best to keep going straight, you'll run into the lands, and most likely the watering hole. I use it when I'm far off from the others that I know about."
She gave a little hum, seeping up the words that the manes wolf gave out. "Visiting a new place can be good," the lion said with a smile. "Something you can always bring out as experirence, aye?" It was fun to flaut where you had been. Well, could be. Nyota almost never left the Southlands.

FallenMercury Offering her guide another smile, she dipped her head appreciatively. "Thanks for all your help, Nyota!" she said brightly. "I'll be sure to watch for your friend. Oh, and if you see a really large white lion with a striped mane, tell him that Lele is looking for him. That's Kiwi... he may look big and menacing, but like I said, he wouldn't hurt a fly."
Taking in a deep breath, she looked in the direction that they were heading. She could barely make out a tiny speck on the horizon, that would ultimately turn out to be Pride Rock. "I appreciate it! Maybe we'll meet again someday."
With that, she began to pad away, her ears perked and muzzle lifted, sniffing at the air.

Safaia The little brown lioness gave a nod to her new friend. "Alright, Lele, I'll be sure to remember that!" She secretly hoped that she wouldn't find too many lions with stripes manes, because she would hate to get it wrong.
"Take care of yourself now. I hope to cross paths with you again someday, too."
She gave a nod to the maned wolf, and watched her slowly pad off before she herself turned back to find her companion. Now, just where could he be now? She decided to check that one spot again...maybe she was just blind...
