A car screeched around the corner, pulling up by the gates and almost crashing headlong into a bush. The sleek blue Eclipse halted just in time, a bit of smoke puffing up from under the wheels. The engine died, and the door was swung open, and from within produced an blindingly bright red boot, followed by the other leg, head, and then torso.
Kaji Ikshi slammed the car door closed with a proud smirk, a pocky stick peeking out from between his lips. "I must say that went quite well," he said, proudly observing his parking job. He knew that was reckless, but it was fun. Then, suddenly a thought came to him. If his students saw him driving around that way. He looked around quickly, taking a case from the car, and locking the doors.
Walking up to the gates, with the bag slung unprofessionally over his shoulder, he cocked an ear and smirked proudly. Last year, he had arrived so late at the school, he hadn't a chance to greet his students. He still wasn't as early as he would have liked, but he had to admit he did much better this time.
Half closing his right eye, he looked with his precise vision upon his brother's friend, the blonde, who now stood beside the door. Two boys were under a tree, and should they start wrestling, he would say something to them. One of the teachers had arrived and now stood beside the door. He walked through the large gates with a confident stride, his tail low to the ground, but curling at the end in an upside-down question mark.
The pocky stick in his mouth suddenly broke off and fell to the ground. He stopped, and looked down at it, as though this was some sort of horrid tragety, the other end still in his mouth, poking out of his curved lips.

He grinned also and growled, signaling the start of the wrestling. He bit at him again, making a low growling sound like cats do when they fight. He didn't purposely make the noise, but he couldn't help it either. His ears flattened backwards on his head and tail swished back and forth. So begun their wrestling.

Before Denkou could even move, he noticed another adult. More specifically, a neko-jin adult. He stayed quite still, watching as their headmaster accidentally dropped a bit of pocky. Don't move don't move don't move! He yelled mentally, watching the older male with a cautious sapphire eye. We're dead if we're caught wrestling! Due to the way his head was turned, he could no longer see Akuma, nor did he try to warn the boy about how they shouldn't be wrestling. The man was strict; That much he knew from his past time at the school. Just don't move...

“Mind playing tricks on you, Mitsukai?” the neko asked slyly, reappearing and disappearing each time the older boy blinked. Though it was difficult for him to keep this up for even a short amount of time, he would have a good time seeing his friend’s reaction to it. Once he [temporarily] ran out of the energy to do that, he made all of himself visible, not including his ears and tail. Of course, he knew that he could be accepted here, but he doubted that he’d ever feel comfortable with those cat-like ligaments in public. Dropping to his knees, he payed no mind to any sense of the other boy’s personal space and threw his arms around Mitsukai’s neck.
Purring softly, he pulled away from the older boy, a smile on his face that could be considered contagious. Pulling the troublesome backpack off his shoulder, he placed it on the ground in front of himself, his hands following suit, leaving Moroi in his cat-like sitting position, legs pinned underneath his body. “Missed you this summer,” he said, happily, smile still in place. Sure, he hadn’t been alone all summer. In fact, he’d probably been the complete opposite of that, having his grandfather forcing training upon him every day. Okay, so, he was blowing it way out of proportion. And getting off the subject. Just because he hadn’t been alone all summer didn’t mean that he hadn’t missed Mitsukai every hour of every day. When he wasn’t in a dreamless sleep, as he seemed to get dragged into more than a normal person. That being the bad part of his cat side.

Akuma's ears picked up the noise of someone walking. He looked over carefully and saw the headmaster. He silently slid off of the other boy and snuck around him. New prey. He tried to hold himself back, for this was the headmaster. He would be dead if he attacked him.
Unable to control himself he leapt apon the headmaster, with a loud cry. He bit his shoulder, animal-like. He couldn't help it. If you wrestle, you have to have some biting.

Denkou watched Akuma jump the headmaster, before he burst into laughter. Tears actually managed to squeeze from the corners of his eyes, as the blonde-brunette male clutched his ribs after awhile. He could barely breathe, let alone speak. Yet, the troublemaking boy managed to get some words out. "Ha... Nice, Akuma!" He choked out, before laughing again. He'd seen the other neko boy, who was standing with the other blonde, but this took his attention away from that by far.

He looked surprised at first, crimson eyes wide. Then, realizing that his dearest friend has obviously learned a few things over the summer, he broke into a modest smile. Arms suddenly thrown around his neck, he blinked in surprise, a slight wince rising on his face but vanishing before it would be noticed. He had missed him alot, so he hugged him back, sliding his arms around his back and squeezing the smaller boy quickly before letting him go.
"I missed you too," he said, honestly. He couldn't express in words exactly how true this was. He hadn't spent his summer alone either, but he probably would have preferred loneliness over what he got. Ren... he didn't want to think of him now.
He blinked at him, tilting his sandy blonde head slightly. "How did you learn to do that, Roi-chan?" he asked, curiously. He was just pleased for the boy's presense, as he thought to himself how pathetic it was that he had no other friends. He looked away, watching Moroi's brother being attacked by Akuma. He raised his eyebrows a fraction. ----------
Kaji had been about to say something to the two boys tumbling around under the tree, but since they seemed to have ceased, he decided against it. He turned away, settling his eyes on the door, intent on returning to his office, he pulled a pocky stick from his pocket and place it in his mouth, flooding it with the creamy strawberry taste he had grown so fond of. It was better than smoking. He liked lollypops too, but they were in his bag and he didn't feel like getting them.
Suddenly a weight was thrown upon him, hard, almost causing him to fall over completely. Then he felt a small pain in his shoulder, not enough to really hurt, but he felt it all the same. He realized after a moment or so that he had been jumped upon by one of those boys.
He turned and looked over his shoulder at him, the pocky stick sticking out of his mouth like a cigarette. "Eh?" he was amused. He didn't think any of the students would be that foregoing. He laughed, unable to help it, before getting a bit more serious. "What are you doing?" he asked, his tone serious.

Akuma jumped off, a wide grin on his face. He replied, sweetly, "Nothing, sir." There was actually no way to explain what he was doing that wouldn't sound insane. His shoulder had tasted.... funny. If he got the chance, he would bite him again, just to figure out if that taste was bad or not. He hadn't really gotten the chance to tell, because he was in fear of going home on the first day. Everyone around them seemed to notice, though.

Kaji just looked at him, his silver head tilted slightly. "Eh," he said, "well... You shouldn't go around biting people. People will think you're weird." He tapped the short boy on the nose with his finger, the pocky stick shifted to the corner of his mouth, one ear lowered slightly. "And you definately shouldn't jump on your teachers."
He settled his palms on his hips, and observed him, his two-toned eyes taking in the other boy's eccentric look. "Hmm, we look almost enough alike to be related," he said, amused, his tail flicking.
He took the stick from his mouth, and flicked it away, as if it had suddenly grown distasteful. Drawing the box from within his pocket, he extended it to the boy.

“Hmm? Oh, you mean this?” he questioned, flashing the older boy a peace sign and momentarily disappearing. He’d forgotten that Mitsukai didn’t know about yet. Well, there was proof that the bad memory thing ran in the family, at least. Which wasn’t really the best thing to figure out, but whatever. But he was as eager as ever to fill Mitsukai in on ever little detail of his own summer, no matter how stubborn the other boy was to reveal anything about his own. Whatever appealed to the other. After all, Moroi was probably more talkative than Mitsukai was. At least, when he wasn’t asleep. If those times were included, he was probably about half as talkative as the older boy. Or some other fraction. And now math was polluting his mind and getting him distracted from what he was supposed to be doing.
“Grandpapa- Or... my grandfather taught me to do it over the summer. That and a few other things with the illusions,” he replied finally, crawling over to sit beside Mitsukai, dragging his bag along with him. A contented smile kept itself on his face through this whole conversation. He was just so overjoyed to see Mitsukai again! The last time they’d met had been after so many years, and they’d barely known each other before then. But this time, they’d become probably best friends, and a few months seemed like an eternity to both of them. To Moroi, anyway. Resisting the urge to hug the other boy yet again, he stretched his legs out in front of himself, examining a pair of newer shoes he’d gotten before school had started.
That was one thing that had been all new to him. Since he’d left home before he was old enough to go to school, he’d never gone shopping for school supplies or anything else. So now he had on new clothing and everything else for the first time since his and Mitsukai’s shopping spree the year earlier. He kind of liked his old clothing better, but he’d actually grown. Which surprised him greatly. Even if it was only an inch or two. He was still thin as a pole. Not that it really mattered to him. Or ever would. He was currently wearing a pair of loose fitting blue jeans and a shirt that would be more fit for a girl than it was for him, saying as it was some pale pinkish color. He’d made the mistake of letting his grandmother dress him on his first day of school, meaning that he could be mistaken for a girl with her strange obsession of making him look so... well, feminine. There were even clips in his silvery blue hair, after she’d failed in taming it. Never again would he make a mistake of letting her do something like that. Never. ((xD I just couldn’t resist.))

He grinned happily and took one of the sticks. "Thank you sir!" He seemed very hyper, and couldn't hold still. He kept shifting from foot to foot. He examined the headmaster, head tilted. "we... We do look alike." He decides. His tail curled into that familiar question mark shape that it often did. He had never had pocky before, and it was good.
He giggled a little. "Sorry for jumping on you... and biting you." he smiled up at him, his golden eye catching the sun. "I couldn't help it. This was true for him. He couldn't help biting. It was almost instinct, except cats don't bite everything that moves.

From his spot under the tree, Denkou's laughter had finally died down, now just quiet chuckling. The same amused, silly grin still plastered on his face, the brunette-blonde haired boy reached over to grab his bag pulling it over. Unzipping one pocket on the side, he pulled out a small notepad and a pencil, flipping open to a blank page and sketching a random doodle, chewing on his lip a bit as he worked. It was habit when he had nothing else to do. It even managed to calm the constantly troublesome, overly-hyper boy down a bit, even if it was just for a while.

"Well that's pretty neat," said Mitsukai, at a loss for what else to say. He scratched the back of his head with his free hand, the other clasping his bag so it wouldn't slid off his shoulder. He thought the illusion was pretty amazing, and wasn't at all upset about being fooled earlier.
Turning his head to look at the school behind them, he asked, "Did you have a fun summer, then?" His voice was smiling, his face rather emotionless. He regarded the school for a long moment, crimson eyes taking it in slowly. He was so glad to be back. It had only been a few months, but it felt like ages since he'd been here, back with his friend. He turned back, and looked upon the neko again.
He was still as short as ever, wearing what seemed to be new clothing. A smirk surfaced as he remembered their last little shopping spree. He still couldn't believe the boy hadn't brought any extra clothing with him. He then realized exactly what sort of clothing his neko companion donned now. The pale pink shirt made his cheeks look a bit more flushed, and loose jeans. The oddest part, to Mitsukai, was the clips in his hair. He refrained from chuckling at his friend's more feminine taste in clothing. He was guessing he enjoyed dressing that way, and would say nothing about it.
Lowering his head slightly, but still peering at the neko, he felt an ache in his chest. He knew he had missed Moroi, but his feeling were only that of friendship, right?

Kaji just shook his head at the boy. "Its fine. Just.. try to refrain from doing that again?" he told him, in a scolding tone. He was deal with the odd boy later. After all, he'd probably run into him, if he was a trouble maker, several times as the year wore on.
Turning from the boy, hands resting on his hips, he looked instead upon his brother and his friend. He didn't feel the need to greet them, as he would others, but instead approached the boy drawing under the tree, ruffling the hair of his younger brother as he passed.
"Ohayou," he said to the kitsune boy, his tone cheerful. His eyes were kind and he smiled down at him, taking the pocky stick from his mouth so that he might speak better. He was greeting all the new students, so he found it necessary to say hello to the boy. "I'm Ikshi Kaji, you're headmaster." He paused to allow the boy to say his own name. He cast a glance over his shoulder to see if the two-toned neko boy had followed.

Denkou paused from his senseless doodle, blinking once before looking up at the adult. He grinned, nodding a few times quickly. "Ohayou!" He greeted in return. "I'm Denkou! Eien Denkou!" He wasn't sure exactly why the headmaster was talking to him, but he didn't ask. It wasn't like it mattered. At the older mans glance over his shoulder, a stupid grin replaced his calm one, looking past the older neko to glance at Akuma. Another chuckle escaped him, before he looked back to the headmaster.
