And... I don't think I'd see it, if they did that.
They're bleeding the series dry, if they do a fourth, for ******** sake.

Because they promised that Scream 3 would be the last and that 'The series was always meant to be a trilogy.'
After Scream 3, which was disappointing at best, amateurish at worst, I couldn't take another.

Mcphee Well, if so, then, good.
Because they promised that Scream 3 would be the last and that 'The series was always meant to be a trilogy.'
After Scream 3, which was disappointing at best, amateurish at worst, I couldn't take another. Exactly, but then again, Friday the 13th, Part IV and Jason Goes to Hell were both promised to be "Final" installments, Michael Myers was never intended to "Return" after Halloween II, and Freddy was supposed to be "Dead" for good back in 1992. Not only that, but the last image in Scream 3 (or one of them, anyway) is a door left wide open. It's as if Craven was saying, "Although this film is being promoted as a concluding chapter, I am not closing the books on this story just yet." So who knows what's going on.

no way they can't make a fourth, i mean trilogy 3 films, the three'd film ended it by showing who the really killer was, what are they gonna do have her father the killer, or have it been all in her head and she actually the killer come on, it would be stupid.

Although I would hope that Craven knows not to beat a dead horse into submission, being that he didn't direct any of the Nightmare on Elm Street sequels, rather than Wes Craven's New Nightmare (arguably the best, following the original).
I just... would hope that he has more sense than that.

I just... would hope that he has more sense than that. I wouldn't say he knows not to beat a dead horse just yet. After all, Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare was indeed supposed to be the final chapter in Freddy's saga (unless, of course, New Line Cinema would approve of a semi-decent Freddy/Jason cross-over--which they eventually did), yet he decided to continue the series with New Nightmare anyway. Also, Craven wrote the Dream Warriors screenplay.

There is no record of Scream 4 on any of the sites I frequent.
Also, Wes Craven has decided to quit horror, and I doubt he would let anyone else take the franchise over. So no Scream 4.
