Take apart a bed? Flitch wondered how they'd do that! Most of the beds he's seen were at least two times as large as he was...although now they were a bit smaller for some reason.
"I guess so, if you've got a plan on how to take it apart," Flitch answered thoughfully, "but first things first...where's the bedrooms?"

Mignon shrugged. "Dunno. We could go exploring! And hit the bed with a shoe! That's what Bob does to his bed, and it falls apart real easy." Mignon started up the stairs, leaning on the wall for support. Okay, so beds were bigger than she was, but that didn't matter! With enough hitting, anything would fall apart.

Flitch looked up the huge staircase, guess he couldn't wear his skates going up that! He quickly switched the shoes back to normal and followed Mignon on the long ascend upward. Seeing that the mansion was huge, it was no surprise the starcase was no exception. He almost had to climb up each step until he finally made it to the second floor and dropped down on his knees for a breather.
"You...really...think," Flitch said with each breath as he stared up at Migono, "...this...gonna...work?" Well, he'd never tried hitting a bed with his shoe but maybe Mignon is right as she's seen it done with experience. They'd first have to find a bed first.
He slowly got up again as he knew it'd make him dizzy if he went up too quickly. "Let's go." Taking the lead, he headed down the hallway towards the first door.
