[ Majani slinked after her, not much enjoying the sopping wet in the humid jungle, and stood next to her. All of the fishes seemed to have swam to the other end of the water. That wasn't very nice, he wanted to learn something, and maybe get a good meal out of it too. He chuckled and stared at Halili who was watching the water carefully. He had never seen her so concentrated before, even if she seemed to be twitching.
Her placed his head a top of hers and grinned. "What next pretty lady?" He loved to compliment her. No matter how stupid he felt some times. He hardly ever got to be with her so he was sappy when he was. ]

"Ummm..." Halili said slowly. Well, what was she supposed to do if the fish didn't come to her? They came to Keone....maybe because he was such a light colour, and she was...bright.
"Maybe....do you think we should try and chase the fish to each other, and hope we can catch one?" She looked over at him, her emerald eyes a bit shiney with wetness, sad that this wasn't working out quite as well as she had hoped. She gave off a light sigh and rested her head on his chest, the water lapping around her legs.

[ Majani beamed down at her, waiting patiently. "Take your time my pretty! I'm sure that if we wait they'll come to your lovaly colors." He Tried to shower her with compliments and her purred lightly and rested his head on hers. The comfortable little puff making his eyes close half way. His brown eyes staying sharp even through the orange fluff. He breathed, fluff almost making him sneeze.
Majani listened intently to her directions, contemplaiting them. "Chase them into each other?" He didn't know how well that would work but he would try anything. "Okay. I'll go deeper cause I'm taller." he began to make his way though the water, mud creeping between his toes and claws. It was such an odd feeling. And mostly just slimey. Ew. ]

Halili pondered on his questioning. "Well...I think maybe they'll bonk into each other, get dizzy, and then we can catch them?" She really wasn't sure what she was saying, but hey, it made sense to her! Sorta.
She kept her eye on the fish, giving them a little bit of a dirty glare. She really wanted to catch one, to make Majani proud, but they just weren't helping her.
Her emerald eyes looked up at Majani, waiting for him to give a sign that they should chase them into each other.

[ Jani stood, half sinking in the overly wet mud that seeped between his feet and over his paws. He cringed. The quicker they chased the fish, the better. Maybe he could get out of the discusting deep brown semi-solid. Fish might be worth it, Halili was definatly worth it. He nodded at Halili and began a slow start forward. It was a bit harder to walk in than expected.
As he began to pick up very little speed and even less distance his paw found a rock. 'Perfect' He thought to himself and stepped on it, maybe it would be a bit easier to stand on. But this was a very bad mistake. He slipped. And landed with a rather large.

Halili had dived into the water, managing to snatch a fish in her jaws. She popped her striped head out just in time to see Majani slide, and crash into the water, sending out heavy ripples across the surface.
"Majani!!" she cried, letting the bloody fish go as she hafl ran, half swam to her mate's side.
"Is Majani okay?" she stammered, hovering around him like a little fly. Oh, what had happened? "Halili is scared, Majani. You okay??"

[ Majani's face slowly came out of the water, just enough so his nose was sticking out. He blew bubbles, making a quite interesting scene. He glanced at Halili who had, by the looks of it, caught a fish. But that did mean she could fend for herself if he ever left for a long period of time. Like that would ever happen.
He lifted the rest of his head out of the watter and shook soom of the water off. "I'm fine hun. I'm just fine..." the sopping wet lion muttered, half embaressed half pushed to laughter. "Don't be scared. I just..." He began to laugh, "Slipped in the sticky mud!" He nudged her slightly with bright eyes. ]

The little lioness was hard to calm down, and even with her love's comforting words, she still wanted to fret over him. "If Majani says he's fine....o...kay." She said carefully, her body language obviously still worried for him.
She slinked all around him, making sure that he wasn't hiding some sort of injury or anything. You never knew!
After her little inspection, she gave him a little nuzzle, slowly beginning to calm down. The dead, lightly bloody fish floated near them, and she flushed as it did. "At least....Halili...caught one?"

He grinned and poked at her with a paw. "If you want you can look me over after we get out." Majani didn't want her to worry about him. He wanted to be the one doing the worrying. After all, he couldn't leave her very long without wondering if something found her or if she was scared.
Majani laughed. He wasn't surprised. He knew that if anything, Halili would get something. "Yes. You did. I think it's cause you've had a lesson before." She poked at her playfully. Shall We get out my dear?" She tilted his head as he asked, them awaited her reply.

"O-okay..." Halili said carefully, picking the fish back up in her mouth before wading over to the shore. She felt bad that they only got one fish, and she was determined to give it to Majani, whether he liked it or not.
Once she had made it to the shore, she shook out as much water as she could, which wasn't as much as she would of liked. She glanced back at Majani, trying not to laugh as she still looked like a sopping, wet mess.

Majani followed, carefully manuvering through the water and sinky mud. It wouldn't have been as bad if his tight mane and fur hadn't added pounds instantly. His paws searched for places where he cloud move without slipping as he grew closer and closer to the shore with a big smile on his face.
As he got out, Majani got to look at his paws. They were a deep brown now and honestly, rather slimy.
"Yuch..." He whispered under his breath and shook off. Losing a few pounds of water, but still had more than her needed. Majani looked up at Halili who was soaked, just like him. He laughed slightly.

Halili huffed, her neutral face growing into a childish pout. "Why is majani laughing, hmm?" She didn't mean any hard, but she tried to not laugh at him! She poutily shook herself, bits of water flying everywhere around her as she slopped away from the soggy bank towards where there was better, firmer ground in the jungle, picking the fish back up in her mouth. She bit into it, cutting it nearly in half. The smaller part in her mouth, she crunched on it, while the bloody mess of the larger piece rested on the jungle floor between her forepaws.
Motioning towards it, she hoped that Majani would eat it. They could always try again later, or find something else to eat together, too.

"Us." Majani said simply. He could never direct anything at her, when he looked the same. (With a bit more soaking wet and fur) He began to follow her onto the less muddy ground, having more difficutly than he though he would. But this was fun! He sated at Halili and poked at her with his paw, several times. Playing made him hungry too!
He grinned widely as she motioned to the fish that SHE had caught. Majani had to admit, she was better than him at most things. Not that it mattered though. Majani picked up the other half of the fish and chomped it up and swallowed.
He shook more of the water off, sending droplets flaying in every direction.

"Hey!" Halili giggled as some of Majani's water was flicked back onto Halili. She wanted to get dry, not more wet! With a playful humph, she wriggled a bit deeper into the jungle to shake off, hoping that she would be far enough away to not get him more wet, either. She flicked her tail and peeked over at Majani, giggling again. "Majani coming?" She said, with a little playful tease at the end. She wanted to play now, and hoped that Majani would, too.

Majani followed her, not wanted to play to much. Mor like Sleep. But what Halili wanted Halili got. Water continued to drip from his fur as he folowed her. A loud yawn escaping him. "Halili, do you think that we could maybe... Just maybe rest for a while?" He said quietly. "It's okay if you don't want to but..." His sentance trailed off into another yawn. "I'm really sleepy...." and he collapsed. To tierd to chase her like he wanted to.
