Kinamasi looked embarressed, she hadn't meant to swea but her beleif in the spirits around her was strong. It was the way it would always be no matter what happened.
Sighing lightly she closed her big red eyes. "We''ll see mother later won't we father?" she mumbled her ears flattening lightly against her head. "I need to tell her."

Umo was surprised at how mature Kina was already. Not only was she going to tell her mother herself, but she was as brave and as loyal as any other adult. His recollection of other cubs her age was not good, so he really had no clue what a cub her age should act. He looked down to his child and spoke. "Yes, Mother will be along later. Do not worry my dear, everything is going to be alright. Your mother loves you and so do I, nothing will change that." He said, placing a paw under her chin to raise her head so he could look her in the eye.
"You are just like I was when I was young. I even hated the pride. And my Family. I was not a very good pride member at all. The swamp and its pride will understand if they understand you.

Kinamasi smiled. "I don't hate the pride father, I just don't want to be heer forever!" she states simply a slightly sad look glimmering in her deep red orbs."You understand don't you?" she smiled nuzzling the base of her fathers mane. "i'm not like mother, theres other things out there and I wanna see them.Not yet, but one day"

Umo shoook his head quickly. "I am sorry Kina, I did not mean it like that. I hated my pride. You do not. I admire that!" He said looking down at her with a kind smile. Kina was ulike any of her parents in a way, she lacked the sad life Umo had in the begining and was already heading away from the path of her swamp mother. He loved Kikawaida though and he loved Kina as well. "I understand Kina, I know. You do not wish to stay hidden in the swamps all your life."
"Though, I have to admit, it will be tough to see you go. I only hope you find someone like your mother did when she left; just like she found me."

Kinamasi rolled her eyes, she couldn't imagine finding a mate, that was so, icky. She stuck her tongue out "uhm..yeah sure pops!" she shook her head and curled herself between her fathers paws resting her chin upon his forelegs. "what ever you say"

Umo looked down at Kina with a grin. Of course, she would not really take intrest into males until... anouther growth spurt. He recalled rolling his eyes at girls. Back when he was her age. "You will find some boy you like one day Kina. I am sure of it. Such a darling like you." He said knudging her. "You have the same skills as your mother. Beautiful beyound all reasoning." He said, rolling her onto her back so he could poke her belly with his paw.
"Soon, you will have cubs to play with. Not sure how soon; but when your mother is ready and you are old enough. Perhaps a little sister?" He said with a smile.

Kinamasi smiled gently. What if she didn't want to be here when he mother had more cubs? She didn't want to upset her fatehr with such a trivial matter "Yes father" she curled in to his mane and sighs gently "it would eb ice" her brow creased, but she hid her expression by huding her nose in ehr tail as if prepareing to sleep. What if she left and didn't want to come back? The world was what she wanted right now, she didn't think her fatehr understood that. Which was fine really. He would probably work it out on his own.

Umo felt something was wrong with the way Kina was talking. He lowered and tilted his head so he could see her curl into him; his brow furrowed. My, his daughter was getting so big. She was having second thoughts about how the world was. He sensed something was up and decided to fix it. "Kina. How about this. Would you like it if you and me took a trip? A small one, as to not worry your mother, but a trip from the swamps. YOu and me!" He said, plcacing a paw around his child. He lowered his head and placed it upon her back; closing his eyes.
"Then perhaps, we can see about you going off on your own. I will ask mother about it!" He added.

Kinamasi smiled at her large, handome father and sighed gently "Maybe." was ehr only answer to him, the world was a huge and interesting place, she wouldn't mind seeing some of it with her father, though truthfully, she wished to see it alone. "Maybe" she whispers again laying her head on his foot paws so she could get some sleep, that was one discussion she wanted to wait for, she knew her mother would not be happy about it. Her motehr just didn't understand.

Umo looked down to his child, his crimson eyes large in his love for her. He wanted to make her happy. He wanted to see her out on her own. with cubs. He wanted to be grandfather. If kina stayed in the swamps forever, she'd never really experiance that. Blinking his eyes sadly, he rested a paw behind Kina's head and let her sleep. His words did not become spoken. He knew that if Kina followed the path of her mother, she would be just like Kika. Afraid to leave. Umo loved Kika dearly, but her fear of the spirits and the way she worried it was her fault their daughter walked odd. He did not believe so deeply in that. Umo was glad to have found Kikawaida. He was glad that she had left hte swamps and did wrong in the spirits eyes. He was glad that Kina had a funked up leg. If the spirits chose to punish the family for Kika's one mistake, perhaps the spirits were not in his favor. Never hte less. He appreciated and grew to also love them, not so greatly... but still he loved the spirits.
Looking down to the child that would be so hard to let go, he knew the tiem would come and he was ready. Question was, was Kika?
