Chapter 5~ something for nothing
Nova had sent his approvable via his great pet hawk which bit Koyla for trying to pet it, Kouki had to suppress a snicker at that. Kouki was staying more or less because of the ethereal inside him demanding to stay with its mate. Kouki was surprised to learn that most ethereal are dominate only during the waning of the moon, while vampires were the opposite like werewolves; and that’s why neither race got along very well.
Kouki smirked Koyla only needed a shot glass filled with his blood to get drunk. That was an added bonus, Kouki needn’t worry about his mate sucking him dry so to speak; but Koyla seemed fine with this.
“There are other ways to suck you dry.”
The Vampire had murmured before swaying his hip and walk out of the room. Before Kouki could throw anything at Koyla after he realized the meaning of what Koyla had said. That was the only down side of staying with Koyla, everything the man said had a sexual meaning.
Kouki spent his days trying to avoid the other inhabitant in the manor, while it proved to be useless Koyla didn’t seem to be used to other people sensing his move, this gave Kouki a small opportunity to devise a plan of some sort, which usually involved Kouki running head long into Koyla and sprinting away as fast as his legs could carry him.
When the moon finally started to wane Kouki noticed the Koyla seemed depressed and a bit slower. The man often shut himself up in his room, it got to the point were Kouki was seeking Koyla out. It was time to tell the annoying vampire about Kouki’s heritage.
Kouki knocked on the chamber door, after the muffled ‘enter’ came Kouki opened the said doors, and entered the dark lit room. Koyla was laying flat on his back on his bed; Kouki perched on the edge of the bed.
“What are you doing?”
Koyla moaned and rolled over to face Kouki.
“The moon fades, and I grow tired,”
Kouki grinned and bounced on the bed and started to poke Koyla relentlessly. The vampire tried to squirm away, but failed as Kouki was now jumping on his bed. Kouki was giggling but he stopped when something grabbed his leg and pulled him down. Koyla had him in a bear hug, and wasn’t going to release him no matter how hard Kouki struggled.
“Now then why are you making this noise?” Koyla inhaled the scent of Kouki’s hair as he nuzzled it with his face.
“I’m Ethereal!”
“Oh…”
Koyla let go his eyes blank, Kouki pulled away and just watched a bit concern. Koyla got up and tackled Kouki back. He was grinning.
“That’s great now we can make love no matter what!”
Kouki just stared at Koyla silently unsure how to respond to that shout of joy.
“Well, that is when you’re ready to make love…” Koyla let go and looked at his bed spread, in a dejected manner.
Kouki nodded. He returned the hug and Koyla sighed in content. Kouki was gently pushed away and Koyla pulled back the comforter for Kouki and winked. Kouki slowly got underneath the warm and fluffy sheets, and curled near Koyla. Koyla once again put his head on Kouki’s so he could smell the hair.
“Good night,”
“night,” Kouki spoke softly as he watched Koyla welcomed Hypos’ embrace.
Kouki was unsure of what to do the ethereal inside insisted he was safe with his mate, while Kouki felt like he was rushing into the relationship. He doesn’t even know what Koyla likes besides being an a**. The beast insisted that the mate would work out, its magic levels were fine, the vampire wasn’t magically tainted, and it could take care of Kouki when the moon came back. That was all that was really needed in a mate, Kouki tried to fight with himself with his logic but the instincts won in the end.
~Better this way Mate want me, mate feed and protect me~
Kouki shook his head what if mate no longer wanted him? His instincts told him ‘too bad’ once mate always mate, for life. Kouki managed a weak smile before looking over at the sleeping vampire. It had only been a few hours since Koyla had hugged him, and yet Kouki wanted to be hugged again.
The moon was mostly gone now, so Kouki’s body was slowly changing into its true form and Koyla was currently snuggling up to his tail. Kouki frowned his back really itched, the wings.
“figures,” Kouki muttered to himself.
Kouki tried to rub his back with his claws, causing him to wriggle into interesting positions. Koyla stirred behind him.
“Let me do that,” The vampire murmured as he started to rub of the scabs.
Koyla watched in slight amazement as every piece of scab he rubbed off a feather poked out of the flesh. It looked extremely uncomfortable. Koyla pulled on the feathers gently and Kouki hissed.
“I’m sorry,” Koyla muttered.
“Don’t they’re just tender, warm water…”
“A bath?”
Koyla smiled and picked up Kouki and lead him to the bathroom to clean off the bloody wings. Unbelievably Koyla didn’t do anything other then bath Kouki, nothing dirty or lewd happened. However Kouki was in too much pain to notice the odd looks that Koyla shot at him.
Kouki gripped the edge of the tub as a muscle spasm ran through his body. He grit his teeth together as the wings burst through his back in a fluid movement. The sickly sound of flesh and blood splattering on the walls and ground was heard. Kouki moaned as he slid down into the reddish water. Koyla’s strong arms hauled Kouki out of the cooling water and wrapped him in a towel.
“It’s like my very own angel,” Koyla murmured to Kouki.
Kouki just groaned in response and burrowed closer to the warmth. Koyla placed his angel down on the bed to look over Kouki.
“I’ll tear your sheets…”Kouki spoke as he looked at the sheets.
“I can get new ones.”
Koyla saw the sheet issue as Kouki being ashamed of what he was. Why; most likely those humans that roams the earth, attacking others for being different. Koyla forced down a snarl at that thought, if any human rubbed his mate the wrong way he’d tear them limb from limb. Koyla looked back at his mate to find Kouki sleeping with Koyla’s pillow hostage. He sighed and followed the suit.

neutral I have not been able to finish the final chapter due to writers block, and the fanfiction NIGHTMARE ((which is a bloody mess)). Thankfully the last chapter only needs a few more paragraphs, so it might be out around august.
please enjoy chapter 6...

Chapter six~ darkest light in the deepest hole
The full transformation occurred two days before the new moon. Both occupants were in the bed when Kouki’s body decided it was time. Needless to say the sheets were thoroughly ripped after the transformation.
Koyla woke with a start; screams had invaded his dream realm. He looked around and focused on the pile of sheets next to him, Kouki it seemed had wrapped the sheets around himself. He grabbed at the bundle, Kouki moaned in pain.
“Kouki?!”
Koyla questioned loudly over the other’s heavy breaths. No response was returned and Koyla decided to take matter into his own hands, quite literally as he tore opened the sheet cocoon that surrounded his Kouki.
Koyla held his breath as he looked over Kouki, it was like a birthday present. He marveled at the snowy body of the fully transformed Ethereal. He had never expected this; but that was understandable seeing as the Ethereal race was consider to be myths in the magical world. So there was no documentation or descriptions of what the creatures looked like, or what they did, how they communicated for Koyla knew no words were going to come from that tooth lined muzzle.
Kouki shuddered he was free from the sheets in response to the cold air his wings folded close to his body. He blinked his eyes slowly and looked at the sheets that had imprisoned him. Kouki looked up to see Koyla looking at his in awe, if he had the ability he would have blushed at the action.
I’m sorry about the sheets
Kouki watched as surprise registered on Koyla’s face. Kouki ducked his head telepathy usually did that to people, except for his old boss Nova.
“No don’t be sorry! You are so…magnificent!”
Koyla seemed to stutter, but his eyes never once left Kouki. So Kouki again ducked his head.
Koyla sensed Kouki’s unease on the whole situation he decided to change the topic. He gave another hard look at Kouki, before deciding the next move.
“Lets go for a walk.”
Okay
Koyla smiled he was getting used to hearing Kouki’s voice in his head. The telepathy seemed to even convey emotions better then the spoken word. The single word response had told him that kouki was grateful for the topic changed and also wanted to go for a walk as well.
Kouki was surprised at how well Koyla was taking everything. The vampire even helped him going down the stairs in the still awkward legs. He sniffed the fresh air life was good. Kouki finally agreed with his animal self Koyla was his mate. Kouki had never really met anyone who had been very kind to him, or had stayed around long enough for him to become attached to. Yet again his mind brought up Nova, who he had know most his life, but he had never really known him or emotionally attached to the creature that was Nova. His animal self insisted that Nova was an elder, and he accepted that.
Ethereals mate for life
Koyla was taken aback, he had been watching Kouki walk slowly out into his garden and then stop for no reason. Kouki had stood like a statue for about 5 minutes, before finally speaking.
“Uh…”
Koyla had no response to that; he was still trying to comprehend the statement. Kouki turned his head to face Koyla. Koyla felt the urge to wince but clamped down on it. He thought over the statement. Mate for life, oh gods he had to be serious! This one answer could make or break the whole relationship. Koyla for one did not want to experience an angry Ethereal.
“Kouki, I would be honored to be your mate. As repentance for my actions, and the emotional need to be with you, I am yours.”
Koyla swallowed, that sounded so bad to his own ears, he watched Kouki narrow his eyes.
I accept
Koyla heaved a sigh in relief and sat down on the ground.
Though that was the corniest thing I’ve ever heard you say.
“Hey!”
Koyla looked up to see a toothy grin on Kouki’s muzzle; He got up and tried to tackle Kouki only succeeding in getting a face full of earth. He was picked up by Kouki who shook the dirt off of him like he was a dirty towel. Koyla laughed loudly as Kouki released him. He wobbled up to Kouki and grabbed at the huge white head.
“I do believe I have caught something that with give me more grief and pleasure that I shall know what to do with.”
Kouki grinned again wholly agreeing with Koyla, but choosing to not respond with words. He opened his mouth and gave Koyla a very satisfying, sloppy, wet lick with his triple forked tongue. Kouki was very pleased at Koyla’s face. He offered his back to Koyla.
Climb on
Koyla obeyed quickly wearing the saliva as a trophy. He clambered onto the back of Kouki, and had just managed a tight grip on the neck fringe when Kouki hurled himself into the sky. It took only two strokes of the main wings for Kouki to gain a descent altitude. Koyla looked at the sparkling wings in amazement.
“Two pairs? How fast can you go?”
Like the wind
The statement that answered Koyla’s question was astounding. Koyla let out a whoop of excitement as Kouki took it upon himself to demonstrate exactly how fast he could go.
“Kouki! I cannot hold on much longer!”
Koyla pleaded after awhile, the speed was too much for him. His hands were numb, and starting to chaff, not to mention that he had become increasingly aware of the pressure in his lower bowels.
Kouki landed with a thud and made way for the mansion, he was now very hungry. He paused a thought stirring into his mind, how would he feed? He could not clean any magic Koyla had for the vampire had none, only the natural prowess that nature granted vampires. Magic was not one of the traits vampires had.
Kouki grunted some of the Vampires had magic, but they only had magic because they had it before they changed. This new concept worried him, how was he to feed, he stopped at the doors to the mansion.
“what is wrong?”
Feeling the need to answer his mate’s question Kouki responded in a
pseudo panic.
No magic to clean! I’ll starve!
Koyla frowned he had never thought of that, partially because he didn’t even know what Ethereals ate in the first place. He thought hard for a few moments.
“I have a few magical items inside; let’s see if they can help.”
Koyla rubbed his hands through Kouki’s mane comfortingly. He opened the doors and entered the foyer, the candles flared up at once. Koyla frowned someone was here, when they shouldn’t be. Kouki’s head jerked away suddenly, causing Koyla to follow Kouki’s line of sight.
There leaning on the bust of some old man, was Nova. Wearing the typical tiara and sunglasses that hid both the eyes and the forehead a grim smiled formed on his lips.
”so you finally have realized the flaw in this grand scheme.”
He said so in a mocking manner, Kouki snorted but nodded, not needing to voice out his opinions.
“Ah, you have always been, quite sharp Kouki...”
Koyla bristled at Nova’s utterance of his mate’s name in such a sensual manner, he had forgotten just how infuriating Nova in person could be.
“Why did you consent to our bonding then?”
Koyla bit out angrily as Nova started to approach Kouki. Nova’s head turned, and he walked seductively over to Koyla. He leaned in and whispered into Koyla’s ear.
“You’ve always been the one to act on emotions. Randolf”
Nova uttered the name sharply before he pushed away from Koyla, and turned to the enraged Ethereal. He seemed to beam at the angry pair. He turned around and flicked his tail mischievously before walking out of the foyer.
“Time is of the essence!”
Nova called out to the two frozen people he left behind.

yeah, the hacking has really stopped my creative flow this story however is almost done so I'll be finishing it up and reposting a new thread.

due to rewriting this chapter....I have decided to let the 1st paragraph be posted not to disappoint the readers, but I was unhappy how the chapter turned out so I deleted most of it.
Koyla was pissed not only did Nova touch his mate without his consent but Nova was ordering them around in his house. He looked angrily at the closed double door leading to his library; the place where Nova had taken his mate, and sealed him on the outside. Koyla paced in front of the doors not willing to leave his mate.

I was hacked however if you have noticed I have gotten that account back, I'm probably going to stick here as phycs since you banned Urboros... wink You know I just noticed it a few seconds ago, and that account can come back when two weeks is up.
