"Crabby, crab-crab! That doesn't look squishy - that looks pokey," Raisa said as Azoc pointed out the purple sea urchin. "Oh, star!" she exclaimed as she noticed something orange trying to cram itself under a rock. Sticking her two free hands into the pool she felt along its edges and tried to pry it up. The sea star had no grip on the loose shell bits and pebbles of the pool bottom and so came off easily. Only one arm clung to the rock and Raisa picked it off with her fingers, nimbly.
"Star, star, STAR!" Raisa said holding it out of the pool. The water was dripping down her arms as she held foreth the orange, five-limbed creature. Smiling she put it in the bucket.

"Star? I didn't know stars lived in tha water." Azoc leaned in to get a better look at the sea star Raisa had ulled form the pool. "How it get from the sky into da water?" This baffled the lobster girl. Stars were suppose to be in the sky, and now they had found one in the water. How confusing.

"Well, maybe the sea stars flew up in the sky one day." Raisa considered this thoughtfully. She had seen a manga book in Pika's room with a girl riding on the back of a starfish, but the star had a face. Pika had said it was an alien. "Maybe sea stars are the alien's babies, and when they get big they go back to the sky!"

"We better be gentle to dat one then." Azoc was refering to the one Raisa had put into her bucket. "Wouldn't want her momma or da to worry." Alien huh? maybe were were other aliens on Earth, she'd have to find them but not now. The tidal pool was still much more interesting. Azoc reached bak in and carefully picked up a shell in her claw. Dangling out was another hermit crab. "Look 'nother rock bug!"

Raisa grinned hugely at the blue girl. "I want to show my mama!" she declared. "Come on!" She turned to make her way back across the beach to the palm tree.
Meanwhile, Pika had spread out the beach blanket and aranged her stuff along a log at the top edge of her spot. Looking over to the guy by the palm tree she asked, "You wouldn't happen to be a D-Corp parent too would you? I think I remember seeing you in the waiting room once." She smiled and said, "I'm Pika by the way, and that's my daughter Raisa."

"Alright." Azoc stood up and carefully held the hermit crab. It had retreated back into its shell for the moment. The lobster girl followed after Raisa as she walked up to her mom.
Sciz glanced up from his book. Some one female was talking to him. "Ah yes I am." he pointed with the book in his hand at Azoc. "Thats Azoc, my second one actually. The name's Sciz. The must of thought I was doing well with the first one the gave me."

Bucket in hand, trowel in one of the others, Raisa plodded across the sand staring at the ground as she went. Small pebbles, sticks and bits of dried seaweed were strewn through the sand. Large smooth rocks to hop over as well. Coming upon a big clump of seaweed she stopped and crouched down. "Hey? What's that!" Raisa pointed to a large gelatinous mass. Clear and thick looking, it sat unmoving on the seaweed. Raisa picked up a stick to poke it.
"Wow, you have two? What animal DNA is in your other child?" Pika asked amazed. 'How many of these kids are there out there?' she wondered internally. "Raisa's a ladybug if you are wondering. Azoc is a crayfish or lobster right?" Pika tilted her head a bit as she watched the kids over on the rocks.

"I lookes like some one spilt their PBJ sandwich on da beach." Azoc kneeled to look at the blob. It seemed familiar alot like some one she met once. Clear and Jelly like. "OH dats a jellyfish... i think." Well it looked alot like the person she had met who was a jellyfish.
"The other is a Red Panda and he just got his dragon." he had said that with a tone indicating that his house was not in the best of shape right now. "Yea I was wondering what she was. i'd never seen an animal like that. Yea Azoc's a lobster. Most of the kids she's talked to have a hard time figuring that out." Sciz laughed a bit.

"A jelly fish? Do they taste like jelly?" Raisa asked, interested. As she poked the blob with her stick it seemed to quiver a little then rip as the stick poked through the mucous. "Yuck," I don't think I wanna taste that anyways," Raisa decided as she noticed the bits of dead seaweed and sand stuck to it. "Does it live on da beach?"
"Red panda? That's certainly different! How do you make meals for them?" she asked impressed. "I am not that great at cooking but Raisa seems to prefer simple things so far, thank goodness." The clouds were begining to cross the sun and sky, picking up speed. The warm breeze turned to wind.
