Amemone I thought saw was really good because it had the perfect plot to it and i love jigsaw Yes, I thought it had a verry good plot and I did like all the puzzles his victims had to do. I liked the casting and I thought they all did a good job. My boyfriend knew the ending when we were watching the beginning. He watches too many movies so he's really good at doing that. But I think that if you can tell the ending that soon in the movie then you watch too many movies... which is exactly what he has done.

To some ppl it was never good but to others, like myself, it was awesomely good. Yeah, " was awesomely good"--past tense. You don't find it good anymore?

I quite liked it, actually. I think it was one of the better original horror movies to come around in a while. Of curse, I don't go out to the movies enough...
I don't think it was as good as Hitchcock, but it suited me well enough.

Vinessa_Valentine Does anyone know that this movie was the director's FIRST movie to direct? I say that he did well for a first-timer with the movie. As a film major who is familiar with standard, conventional practices of filmmaking (which the director of Saw was aiming to immitate), I must disagree. The movie still remained hollow and contained numerous faults, cliches, et al. which turn a movie in which events are meant to be followed into acts of idiocy that are watched in passing. (See Also: Plan 9 from Outer Space)

It was okay. It could have been way better,it should have been more gory and more deaths, better actors and so on. Like when you have a chance to kill a killer, you don't go "hey lets hide and see what he does" or..." point the gone at a guy and tell him not to move then get distracted by your daughter"..dumb dumb, just very dumb. Or that horrible car chase. Also when the doctor cut off his foot, there was no blood anywhere when he was crawling around, it should have been spurting everywhere. But whatever it was done in 15 days, pretty could for only two weeks.

I thought it was a awsome horror movie. I really liked all the situations he puts those people in. I love that prt when he puts the head vice on that girl.
