The girl blinked and looked over at her, tail twitching. "Chubbs? How come?" She still had no idea that he had changed again.

"Well he doesn't talk for one, not that i've noticed, he lives out here in a cave all the time, he's really leaning towards the animal tendancies his syrum as been changing him to be" She tried to explain what she meant in the words she could think of that made sense without being technical

Amaya could only stare at her, heart-broken. So... Chubbs... was gone...? It was like being told your big brother had been killed and replaced by some beast.

Joliette didn't know what to say, she turns her head and looks out into the jungle. She wasn't sure if he'd ever return to the David she knew

The teen frowned and sighed, not sure what else to say. The fact that they had lost Chubbs still hung heavily on her shoulders. Maybe she should go back home...
"I think I'm going to head back." She said suddenly, yellow eyes looking at Joliette. "You should too. Staying out here alone won't help you stay yourself."

Joliette nods "After I find some prey... I'm hungry, and I've gotten better at hunting" she watches Amaya for a time "keep reminding me, and yourself and everyone else that, we need that kind of reminder with whats happening to us"

Amaya nodded to her, then turned to leave. Prey? Why would someone hunt when food was available? "Okay... bye Joliette." Slowly she headed back to her duplex.
