binkies I really don't know what party I fall under. eek My parents say I'm a republican, I don't even know what a republican is. I say Vote for Nattor! because we hate everyone! xd The worst thing you could do right now is vote for Nader. He has been running for years; literally, years. The problem with our current state is that you will only win if you are the nominee for either of the two head parties; Democrats and Republicans. Voting for anyone else is futile. Don't vote for Nader just because you don't want to vote for Bush or Kerry. Nader could be the next Hitler and wouldn't even know it. You know nothing about where he stands. Check out the Green Party website and if you like their ideas - then vote for Nader. Otherwise, don't be a dumbass.

Nader isnt the next Hitler, remember what Liz said?I didn't say he was, love. wink It was just an example. Some people may think that they should just vote Nader since they don't like either Bush or Kerry. This is wrong. You should vote based on the issues and where you stand. Also, don't pick a candidate because you don't like how they look, act, or how well they speak. Again, base your vote off of how you feel about the issues. It's really simple.

Well duh, I hate when people say they're going to vote for people for silly reasons. And yes, 'Because he's a good Christian' is a silly reason. I've heard it so many times. But frankly I feel that in this election all the candidates seem very...hm....illequiped(sp?) I should say. None of them seem to know what they're doing. Although Kerry does seem to have a compitant VP man. I'd say what Bush has in his favour but I cant rememeber. ^^;

I am 17 and I am lefty liberal.
On the politicalcompass.org test (take it!) I got near Ghandi (sp?). After you take the test, scroll down and click on the election 2004 thing. Very interesting. The test doesn't take too much time. Although one girl today (we took the test in our Civics class) didn't know what the word "economics" meant. I almost died. I wont be 18 by election 2004 time, I am heartbroken.

Nader isn't the next Hitler. He's of the Reform Party. The National Socialist's Party will bring us the next Hitler. 3nodding
Both democrats and republicans seem to be in a state of extreme hypocricy right now, even more so than is normal for them. When they aren't being hypocritical, they seem to be indecisive and useless. I'd have to say that the Green Party is winning a lot of respect because of the poor scenes laid forth by the two greater parties... but unfortunately, this country is not ready to elect a third party president just yet.
I have no political affiliation. I have my own interests to secure, both for myself and the world. I can't afford to compromise them in exchange for allies.

Okay, this is on topic but not really. Bear with me.
Did anyone see those snickers commercials four years ago(the LAST election, obviously).
I don't remember what the guy says, but he has an elephant on one shoulder and a donkey on the other. I know he mentions pants.
The Elephant then says: My Dad wears pants!
Donkey: I INVENTED pants!
It was the best commercial ever.

But I can't vote yet anyway so I don't have to choose anyway. Though if I could vote, I'd pick Kerry. I figure that even though he's not that great of a candidate, he can't screw up much more than Bush has already. Though 'if Bush screwed up or not' is a matter of opinion. *is not even going to start about the deficit* I think we went to Iraq for the wrong reasons. Even if we did rid Saddam of power and "liberated" the Iraqi people, we originally were supposed to be there because of "terrorist connections" that were proven false. However, others may think that capturing Saddam was enough to make it all worth while.

I was joking. eek Yeah I wouldn't vote for Nader because it would be throwing away a vote, if I could vote. Yeah if I could vote I wouldn't vote for either Bush or Kerry, I hate them both. I know it would be throwing my vote away but our votes don't count in the actual process for electing a president. If it did the Gore would be president. 3nodding Stupid electorial college! I am looking into other parties, so far I'm not liking what I'm seeing. I will probally not end up joining any party and just vote for who ever the hell I feel like voting for. 3nodding
