Seeing Viddy notice them, he couldn't help grinned as he waved. She really was way too cute and he still had to explain the whole thing of height to her. Sah really wasn't very tall, about 5'3, which compared to Akiya, made him small like a kid. "Heyo there Viddy!" Hanai told him something off about Viddy and Jiro's playtime.. something about him acting out of sorts.. like a different person. It had only happened for a moment, but all that was needed was a moment. And lately, Jiro had been sleepwalking.. he was very worried about his little one.. he needed to figure out what was going on and quickly...
He knew Viddy would be here but seeing that she had the two plushies he had given her made a faint smile cross his lips. Ah, she had recieved them and by the looks of things, had rather liked them. Ah a, very good. So his trip hadn't been wasted. Bowig before her, he nodded as he chuckled lighed. "Un, you have it right. You learn rather quickly. Konnichiwa is correct." If he had known about the party a bit sooner than he had, he woulda grabbed a book to bring along with him. But he hadn't had that time. So he would definately have to bring on of his Japanese grammer books with him next time. "How have you been? I see you got my box... was everything acceptable to you?"
Sah was still abit nervous around these people but he smiled brightly when Enoh came over and ointed him to the table. "Oh, you don't need to thank me! It's only proper I bring something along! Or else, I'd be frrloading neh? Besides, throwing parties is always such tough work so any extra help, no matter how small is such a big help." He bowed politely before her. "I am Sah, Akiya's mate. It's a pleasure to finally get to meet the mother of Vidya. Jiro told us all about his playdate with her. She's a very cute girl. You must be so proud of her."
"Oh?" His eyes looked over at Enoh and gave her a once over. So that was her mommy. "She looks very kind..." He then pointed to where Sah was playing his tray on the table. "He's my mother.. but at home, mommies are called Yuhins... so he's my Yuhin."

Enoh made a soft coo'ing noise...aww, Sah was just SO cute! There was something about him that this shapeshifter liked...something that made him childishly adorable.
"You're right of course...but still, thank you very much! Freeloading is alright...thats usually what happens at parties!"
The woman laughed happily, shaking her head. At the mention of Vidya, Enoh's expression softened a bit, looking over her shoulder at her blue-skinned wonder. Proud wasn't the word for it...but it would do.
"Oh yes, very much so...She's very cute, and her logic tends to floor me but...hey, she's still very small...she has to make sense of things in her own way, right? Anyway...Its so nice to meet you, Sah. I'm Enoh."
Turning her attention back to Sah, the shifter dipped into a small curtsey-like motion of her own, even though she wasn't wearing a skirt. Those crimson eyes of hers then drifted towards Vidya and the tale she was speaking to. Japanese? As yes, this was definately the Jiro she'd heard about.
"So that is the infamous Jiro, huh? Vidya's told me a lot about him as well...I might have to start learning Japanese myself, if he decides to teach her more than the basics! He seems like a very nice boy though...a bit stoic, but nice."
Enoh's attention turned again, as even more food was brought towards the table.
"Oh my! Maybe I should've just left the cooking up to you, Chao! Aido? Oh MY. You've grown! You're a very pretty girl!"
Vidya waved happily up to Akiya, and then made a noise that sounded an awful lot like a "phwee" as she discovered she'd been pronouncing it properly. The girl fixed the sleeves on her kimono, as they were annoyingly covering her hands when she didn't want them to.
"Viddy's good! N'yes, found tha pressies...N'me likes 'em very much Jiro, Thank you!! And lookie!"
The girl turned and pointed to her hair, or more specifically the pin that held part of her blue-streaked white hair. Enoh, using this pin, had put the side of Vidya's hair into a bun at the back of the toddler's head, while the rest of her long hair hung free down her back; of course, her bangs still framed her face. This was, of course, on Vidya's insistance. Turning back to face Jiro, she looked as if she'd just remembered something...and, holding up the two plush dragons, she pointed at their sides.
"Oh yeah! Viddy wants'ta name these...! But me wants'ta know what these say firs'! C'n Jiro read them?"
Her white eyes then turned towards Sah, the girl leaning her head to the side as if she were confused. Weren't Mommies supposed to be girls? Oh well! If this was Jiro's Mommie, then this was Jiro's Mommie! No 'ifs', 'ands' or 'buts'. To Sah, the toddler waved.
"'allo Jiro's Mommie! Or...Jiro's Yuhin!"

Nalira slowly move into the Stationary store, her invitation scrunched securely in her hand. The light above illuminated her features as it gently shone down from above. She was quite a state, she looked something aweful. Her honey-brown hair was tied back loosely, and looked as if it hadn't been brushed in days. Her skin was as pale as winters snow, and her skin was clinging tightly to her bones. Her once golden eyes were now faded into a dull grey. The once spirited young girl was no longer of existence. She was just an empty soul.
But she had a smile on her face. She was dying inside, but she wasn't about to ruin Huni's big day. She moved forward, smiling painfully, her tired gaze moving around the building she knew all to well. Yet, it seemed so foreign. She entwined her fingers together gently, listening to the conversing Authors and Tales, her heart beating both slower and faster at the same time. It was nice to finally be home.
She had a home, but she had grown up here. The other shack she lived at with Lemon, that wasn't home. It held too many painful memories. The Stationary shop was where she had shared all of her good memories, all of her friends. It was, her. Sighing heavily, she leaned against the wall, smiling fakely at everyone and giving a tiny wave.

Syrie had been trying to be invisible in one corner of the room. The people didn't look intimidating...it was just...well...they were. He watched his "son" zipping around and greeting everyone with a little bit of sadness. He did wave to Nalira, wishing that he could help her more - he'd promised to find her mother, and he was looking into it, but it was hard.
For today, though...he was trying to not think about the sad things. The russet kitsune fidgeted, holding a small gold box in his hands. He'd give it to Huni when he found a good moment.
Khia was still watching Jiro's parents, and was now happily wagging his tail and not only them, but Nalira, Viddy, and Enoh. "^____^"

Smerdle stopped in front of the Stationery Store and looked at the invitation again. Sylvester, not paying attention to where he was going, smacked into her from behind.
"Sorry, Mama." He looked up and noticed where they were. Hey! It was that place he came from! "What're we doing here?" he asked excitedly.
"I got this," she said, waving the invitation. "That nice woman we met... it's the anniversary of the first year she's been here. In Gaia."
Sylvester didn't know what an 'anniversary' was, but it sounded like fun. "Are we goin' in?"
"Yup. I think there are going to be other kids like you here," Smerdle said. "Maybe you can make some friends." She patted Sylvester on the head, her hand coming away slightly sticky. She sighed. She thought she had washed all the juice out.
Smerdle pushed open the door and the two of them entered the store.

"Hurry up mommy!" Linny cheered, literally dragging Huni by her hand towards the shop. He was excited and wanted to see how they decorated the place and if any of the Tales he didn't know very well were there.
"Okie, okie, just don't yank mommy's arm off, I still need it." the red head chuckled as her son pulled her along. Finally they arrived and Huni was stunned at how the place looked. And at how much food there was.
She could say nothing, though her mouth did open and close several times before she finally managed to speak. "Thank you." her voice trembled, maybe it was hormones or that the gym-phase had taken its toll on her, but Huni began to sniffle and her eyes began to well up with tears.

Syrie spotted the redhead and her son, and smiled. Huni had been a wonderful friend to him, and he cared for her greatly. He finally stopped fidgetting with the box in his hands, and made his way over to greet the woman.
"Huni...happy Anniversary." He leaned in and gave his friend a kiss on the cheek before pressing the small box into her hands. "A little gift...I hope you like it..."

With Syrie's gift, the whole dam had burst and Huni let out a huge wail. It was one of happiness and delight (and a bit of disbelief) at how nice everyone had been. She had forgotten her own anniversary, and with everyone else remembering it, she was just happy beyond words.
She threw her arms around the kitsune, "Thank you so much, Syrie." she breathed, before trying to regain her composure. She marveled at the box before opening it.
Linny spotted Vidya, Jiro, the grown Nalira, Khia and the newly grown Aido. Wow, so many things have happened, he wondered who else had changed. "Paazi!" Linny grinned and skipped over to the furry Tale, "Hi Nala." he greeted, noticing the strain on her expression. He thought it was best not to say anything.

It pleased the small fox that his friend seemed so happy, and he hoped she'd like the gift. He wasn't exactly good at the whole "gift" thing, but he'd tried. Inside the golden box, nestled in tissue paper, was a bracelet made with a strange opalescent gem set in a curling golden frame. Khia hugged Linny when the redhead came over. "Linny!! It's great, there's lots of food, and and...so many scents!" His crimson eyes sparkled excitedly, but then his voice dropped a bit, murmuring that Nala seemed down, but he didn't know why.

"It's lovely!!!" Huni declared, slipping it onto her wrist. "Thanks again," Huni smiled, feeling her eyes sting with tears again. Gahd she was a regular waterworks today.
Linneas nodded in agreement with Khia, "Yeah, I don't know why either... maybe mommy or Uncle Syrie knows."

Aido's gaze shifted, catching sight of Linny, Khia and the grown Nala and her eyes lit up cheerfully.
Not bothering to pick up the bag she'd deposited on the floor she easily wove through the growing crowd over to her friends and without pretense threw her arms around Linny, who happened to be closest.
"Khia! Leenee! Nala!" she cheered, smiling happily at the other three Tales, only to c**k her head slightly at Nalira, her smile drooping a notch as concern crept in on her. The other girl didn't look well.
Fishing up Aido's newly discarded bag then the one from Rael's back, the shadow promptly dissapeared back into the other shadows, obviously not intending to be around in such a social situation.
Taking the food out, mostly paesties, she added the dishes to the table of food. Though Huni's wail distracted her and she nearly dropped a scone.
Getting the last of the food out and onto the table she slipped away, grabbing a spare napkin and heading towards Huni and Syrie.

(( Squee! Party! * Cha cha's through the thread * ))
Silent walked at a slow pace, only because of a certain someone walking beside her. Angelus rarely used his wings anymore, except for a few rare times when no one was looking. The baby steps were hard to match. Looking down, worry was evident in her gaze. He was quiet. So quiet.
Angelus didn't look anywhere else except in front of him. He was tired of staying in one spot. As the days progressed his patience waned thin. He needed to be out, but not deal with the world. What an oxymoron.

((*arrives fashionably late?*))
Terr peeks in the door of the stationary store, her daydream, Solimar, perched on one shoulder. Oops. There seems to be some sort of party going on. Terr steps back outside, wondering whether they'd mind her coming in. She only needed envelopes!
Well, the door is unlocked, right? Terr strides in, looking for Syrie, Khia, Shiroi, or some other familiar face. Or maybe a birthday person to at least give her good wishes to.

Shiroi dragged herself into the Stationary shop, toting a rather large bag behind her. After her trailed Miako, her purple book in her arms. Miako was looking around, as if she was searching for someone.
Seeing the congregation of people, Shiroi called out, grinning sheepishly "Sorry we're late! I had to pick up some stuff.."

Vidya's wings twitched the slightest bit, turning her gaze towards the pale girl that entered, the one who appeared to be nothing but a walking ghost. Her expression changed then to one of unknown grief as she looked upon the girl; Vidya knew this was Nalira, and the change in her personality somewhat depressed the blue tale.
Vidya glanced at Jiro with that same expression before turning and taking her leave of him for now; instead, she went over to Nalira. The tale somehow understood that she had no words of comfort to give, so she did the next best thing in her books...
She gave her friend's legs a hug, since that really was the only thing she could properly reach. Looking up at 'Nalli', Vidya gave her a sympathetic, but still somehow optimistic smile, patting the wolf's leg before slowly moving away.
As Vidya wandered away, her attention was caught once more by an opening door. Leaning her head to the side, the blue child stared at the boy who entered; Wow, he had a long neck! She leaned her head to the side a bit, but sidewings twitching as she did was it was her custom to do. Vidya then grinned suddenly, throwing her arms out to the side, the large sleeves of her kimono fluttering to catch up.
" 'Ello! M'Viddy? Wha's your name? You gots spots...pretty spots. N'long neck...and furry too! M'likes."
Vidya nodded a bit, having pointed out everything she liked about the boy at first glance...he just looked so...cool! The wail though, threw her off. Vidya squeaked in surprise, nearly falling over...though she managed to stop herself before flopping on Sylvester in surprise.
The girl then giggled sheepishly, holding out her hand to Sylvester like she'd seen so many adults do. Keeping her hand out, she looked over her shoulder once more at the door...Wow, so many people were coming! Parties sure were a fun thing to be at!
Even though their last encounter hurt Vidya, she waved happily with her free hand towards Miako, grinning happily; she wasn't hurting anymore, and it obviously didn't kill her, sooo...let the past be the past, right?
"'Alo Mii!"
Vidya then looked around; she'd been rude to someone...and it was time to make up for it! Spotting her target in the crowd, she turned her attention towards him, waving her free hand in the air.
"Lookie Jiro! S'new tale! C'mon, come meet 'im too! Pease?"
Meeting new people was fun, and should be shared with everyone else.
Vidya logic is so cute.
---
Enoh was very surprised by the turn out. So many people! She wandered over to Huni though, giving the wailing woman a hug.
"Happy Anniversary, Huni!"
Smiling, she offered the shopkeeper a tissue, feeling that it would most definately be needed. Good thing she bought some, just in case, ne? The shifter then looked over towards the doors, leaning her head to the side. She didn't seem to be a Tale owner...mainly because there were no strange children around her legs...but she was very much welcome nontheless.
"Oh...welcome! You've just stumbled on a Gaiaversary party! You're welcome to come in if you want, free food!"
Okay, so the food part was more of an afterthought. But it worked, didn't it?
