georgette_x dark_elf georgette_x Definetly. I get so absorbed...it's like the whole world disappears and I'm watching the book from a third person perspective... I also don't answer when people call my name. xp Omg, if a character I LOVED died, I would cry like a baby. I spend three quaters of "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" in tears and no one even got hurt. Well, except once. I cry realllly easily. THe thing with the thris person happenes to me too sometimes. When I'm reading often my family will say 'right ------?' and I'll be like Uh? Haha, people have carried on entire conversations with me while I'm reading, like, under the table. they usually end with, "Are you mad at me? *poke poke*" That happens once in awhile to me too."I'll only cry if it's a good character and the book is really intense when the character dies. I gasp and yell at it too in my head once in a while. " I yell, talk, gasp in my head too...alot!

I always get emotional when I read. I guess it helps me to understand the mian characters point of view more so I suppose it's beneficial to a point. I'll do almost everything in here. Laughing out loud happens all the time. Including yelling at the book when something happens that I don't want it too. Really quite funny when the room is mostly silent till I burst about how it's so wrong and repeating "no don't do that" over and over. My heart pounds a lot in tense book situations such as Sabriel when she's being followed by the mordicant. I'll absolutely blubber in books. In my highschool junior year we read Cyrano de Bergarac. At the end I was bawling and everyone kept giving me strange looks.

I realized something...with the books they assign in class I hardly ever get really really into it, but with 99% of the books I read that I picked from the library I do really get into.

My facial expressions and body totally act out what I'm reading sometimes. It's embarrasing, I have to watch myself when I'm in the subway or anywhere else in public.

I'll tense up, I'll cry...there was this one incredibly intense moment in a book, then something happened very abruptly and I screamed. Of course, there just had to be other people there at the time... lol

I tense up and my heart starts beating faster during intense parts of books. I'll cry if something really happy happens or a character dies. I'll get so absorbed in the book sometimes I'll be reading at school and practically drooling because I'm looking down to read and my mouth is usually hanging open because I am unaware of what is happening around me.
